Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the presentation of the PIFF London Championship, part of the PIF Global Series, and I’m absolutely delighted to welcome our 2025 team champions here at Centurion Club with a score of 29 under par. Please give it up for team DToy made up of Captain Danielle Detoy, Sarah Kemp, Kemp, Martans, Bario, and Megan Dennis. Please round of applause. Right guys, I’ve got to say before I present you the trophy, we’ve got to start with you Danielle because two three days ago you weren’t even in the country, let alone in the tournament, were you about to start an access event. You unfortunately Charlie Hull had to withdraw due to injury. You were in fairy tale dream ending for you because you’ve won with your team. How’s it feel? Pinch me moment. Yeah. No, I can’t even describe it. Um I was I’ve played I had played one round in the access event and had to um withdraw and at that point I was only first reserve got on a plane and when I landed Anna the TA called me and said you’re in um blind just show up and go I I just I’m I have no words. You’re speechless. Maybe that’s the way forward going in a little bit blind. Well, Sarah, obviously you were chosen by tournament favorite Charlie Hull, and then obviously she had to withdraw last minute, but this despite all of that happening, this team really delivered, didn’t they? So, was there a moment in your round you felt something special was really brewing? Honest, I have to be honest with you, I didn’t even know that we had won until the end. I could see some cameras uh on our last hole and I thought, “Oh, we must be doing okay.” But I actually had no idea. And then um these two made birdie on 18 and start fist pumping. I’m like, “Oh my gosh, like we must have done something really good.” So, no, I think we just really jelled together really well when, you know, there was some eagles and, you know, some of us made bogeies, but it was like perfect timing between all of us. So, no, I had so much fun. It’s my first ever um Aramco team series event and yeah, this is really cool. What a record. Yeah, first ever PIF Global Series event and you have won already alongside. You mentioned Mart, you had you had a birdie on the last there. You knew exactly what was happening. Did you have a couple of eyes on the leaderboard then? Uh, it wasn’t me, it was Megan. Actually, I had no idea we were about to win it if they made it. So, I was as amazed as Sarah was, but I think the team did amazing. We pitched in on every hall, all of us. And I think that was the the recipe for success. Yeah. And Megan as well, this is your rookie season, so to actually be able to celebrate this event with your teammates here, just how special is that? Yeah, it feels so special and it’s so nice to be able to compete at home and do it with such a nice group of people. I think we had a lot of fun over the last two days. So, yeah, I’m I’m very proud of everyone. And lastly, over to you Danielle, the team captain once more. Fairy tale ending to get that birdie. I knew how much it meant to you on the last just just what does this mean overall? Uh, it’s been such an up and down season. Um, you played well on the Sunshine Tour. Coming over to L has been rough to get this is I’m still speechless. I think I’m going to have to be pinching myself for a while still. There you go. Give a little pinch, Sarah.
