Just thought this was funny, oh well. I texted a lot of people very excited and then recounted to enter into my phone app and realized my mistake.

    You’ll get it.

I’m so close, I can taste it. Shot 42-42 yesterday, with an avoidable triple-bogey on 16

At least Brad is consistent with the 69s

  3. not to be a dick but i once missed a 5′ putt for a 79 on 18. Was very upset with myself, but it turns out i shot a 78 anyway lmao

I once thought I broke 90 and recounted. Ended up with 110. I feel ya.

Brad makes me feel less bad about my breaking 90 journey I’m on. Thanks Brad.

  6. Time to find out how many of your friends don’t believe you and double check you’re math!

trying to break 80 with someone shooting 140 is even more impressive. Id go nuts waiting in-between shots.

I was there, pretty sure I saw you get a 5 on hole 3.

Brad out here shooting double 69s, what a champ.

    **Honest question:**

Why do people still use pen/paper, where’s apps that will keep/track scores for you?

Write “+1” or “-1” against whatever the par is rather than the total shots to easily total up the whole round.

So who is doing brads math? I see 128 strokes for Brad.

You didn’t shoot 80 either! Disqualified!! Your out! Just kidding, haha. I’ve done that so many times but with 90.

  15. Damn! Still a solid round. I have ONE round in my life at 79 (par 70 course) It was a rainy day, playing solo, so I can’t count it since it couldn’t be attested. Still waiting for the day it can be done and witnessed.

  16. Still a solid round! Congrats!
Similar story, I hadn’t broke 80 yet either, playing aon a new course I was 8 over going into 18, had a 4’ birdie putt, missed it of course. Bummed thinking I just blew my first sub 80 round one of the guys I was playing with said “nice 79!”
    I didn’t realize it was a par 71.
Was the first course I’d ever played on that wasn’t a par 72.

Tf happened to Brad?? Is he ok?

It will be that much sweeter when it happens

Almost there! I’ve been playing golf for over 20 years. When I was 17, all I had to do was par 18 to shoot 79 during high school golf practice with my teammates. Well, they let me know and I absolutely chocked and bogeyed the hole. It took me 18 years after that to finally break 80 after that day, and I shot a 76, playing with my best friend, who also broke 80 for the first time, shooting a 79. I will never forget that day. We were both in some weird zone on the back 9, didn’t say for than 10 words to each other until we got to 18 tee. I’ve broken 80 4 times since. Keep pushing and once you break it, all that pressure is off and you finally feel like you concored golf, at least I did. Knowing that I will probably never par a course.

80 is still awesome! You’ll break it soon enough.

    As for Brad… Damn 🙁

  21. Unlike_Agholor

How could you focus while playing with Brad? Is he okay?

  22. I did this 3 weeks ago, but it was the other way around. Thought I shot an 82 but fat fingered my score in GHIN… ended up being a 79

  23. CMDR_NTHWK

did you grind really hard on that last putt on 18?
