Kai Trump and her friend offered up details about an awkward first date in a recent YouTube video.
The 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump has made a name for herself on YouTube, with over 1.18 million subscribers. She posts about her daily life, the behind-the-scenes of her high-profile family and some viral challenges with her friends.
In the video, she challenged her friend Emma Markin to beat her at every sport. Kai is athletic herself, and she’s committed to playing golf at the University of Miami. While chatting on camera, the two friends spilled about a bad date, though it wasn’t clear which of them had to endure the evening.

They were walking through a local mall, riding the escalator in Nordstrom, when the story came up.
Recounting the details, Kai started, “Guys, if a guy took you to Chick-fil-A for the first date…”
That’s when Emma jumped in to explain the story further. “No, if you drove three hours to go on a date with a guy, and then he took you to Chick-fil-A, and then you try to hold his hand, and he removes himself from you, would you go on a second date?”

She and Kai played out the hand-holding scenario, showing Emma grabbing her hand away as Kai tried to take it in hers.
“Comment down below,” Kai joked, looking for feedback on the bad date. One commenter took them up on this, saying, “Definitely no second date for that dude! lol.”
