Kai Trump’s competitive nature was prominently featured in her newest YouTube vlog as she challenged her athletic abilities against her closest friend, Emma Markin.
The U.S. President’s granddaughter took part in golf, basketball, and pickleball competitions with the 16-year-old, who demonstrated she was equally as determined as the future college athlete. Trump’s younger sibling, Tristan, remained a constant presence throughout the footage and even teamed up with Markin during the basketball segment.
The 13-year-old has seldom been seen in public but was eager to participate in Trump’s recent YouTube content, which follows shortly after the budding golfer executed an incredible putt while wearing a blindfold before experiencing an uncomfortable incident.
On Saturday, Trump released her newest video entitled: “I Tried Beating my BEST FRIEND at every sport!” – where she put her athletic abilities to the ultimate test.
As expected, she claimed victory in the putting competition, even while blindfolded, with the University of Miami golf recruit successfully sinking the ball in 11 tries versus Markin’s 15 attempts.
The basketball competition followed next, featuring the two young women in a game of ‘horse,’ alternating between executing various shots. When Markin began to falter, Tristan intervened to provide assistance and made a meaningful contribution.
After successfully making an early basket, Trump praised him with a “good job buddy” before making a successful shot herself. However, the camera caught the confident 18-year-old declaring: “I don’t miss. I don’t miss.”
Tristan, however, made his next shot, putting the pressure back on his older sister to replicate his success. As it turned out, she missed her shot and furiously bounced the ball off the ground, yelling “no!” as Tristan and Markin celebrated.
Trump then had one last opportunity to redeem herself, telling the others: “Alright, if I make this – double or nothing – you guys lose.” But her luck ran out as she missed the basket again, giving her best friend the victory.
“It’s 1-1 right now. I don’t care because I’m not a sore loser like that,” Trump told the camera, although her remarks suggested otherwise. Still, she implied that she is nothing like Markin when things don’t go her way.
Some fans quickly noticed Trump’s competitive spirit, with one person commenting: “Kai’s frustration is so real!! It’s good to scream it out gurl!! Her competitive nature is coming into force in this video!!”
Others also enjoyed seeing Tristan in the video, praising the young man for his humor and personality. “Tristan is such a great brother! He’s just the sweetest thing!” one fan remarked.
