Ministers game, you know, we kind of knew that they’re
underneath the Finish. Got a lot of depth so my biggest
thing was just taking what the defense gave me. Like I said they were going a
lot of depth in their zone. So you know, Beck was open
underneath and of course made it some some good place for
sure’s, first game in new team, a new
staff, and it’s an exhibition game, but was like kind of big to kind of set the tone the
way all dead to me. Yeah, it was good. You know, I think, you know,
with the new team like this, you know, everybody’s kind of
new new offense and everything. I think it was important for us.
Us to get on the field. Practice isn’t the same as a
game. So you know, it’s nice getting out
there in a stadium filled, you know, great atmosphere here, always in the lambo, but it was, it was, it was awesome. Sure. Was, it felt good to go into
different defense. Yeah. Most most definitely, I was telling be Stevens out there that, you know, it’s kind of easier
going and gets thin, because we’ve been practicing against
them stuff for so long. And they kind of know, a good amount
of our Concepts. So it definitely feels good out there.
Sure. How is the operation with Tanner
and everything is good. Everything was Bewdley. You
know, I think the biggest thing that night we were emphasizing was just a smooth
operation like you kind of mentioned there and getting in
and out of the Huddle FAFSA. I’m good. Do you think you guys
showed kind of a potential for this running game? You know, it
was brief. It was a brief stay right there. The running game,
seemed to be the whole seem to be pretty big.
Yeah, I think so, for sure. And, you know, we just wanted to
show who we were as a team so our identity physicality of course in the running game.
And you know, once you get that run game going, everything else
opens up so starting fast Fast. I talked to
Brian. That’s a Bentley said, we had to show that we had to
start fast. Was that? What did that show today? Yeah, I mean, we started fast
for sure. You know, first drive went to go score seven. Like Braylon said, we started
fast had a good run and I were just moving the ball. So I’ve been, I don’t think we had
any pendency first drive might have one but like I said, started fast and
our goal was to go down and score seven which is digits at.
So he times on your maturity and
kind of your ability to shut out the noise outside noise of
quarterbacks always going to hear it. Have you always Been good at that. No. But I’ve learned over the years
that, you know, no matter what you do,
everybody is going to have an opinion on you. So, and opinions on matter, whether
whether they’re good or bad, you know, you just have to take a reality check sometimes.
And, you know, the only people’s opinion that matters to
me, is the guys in the building. So I my teammates
my coaches and I’m, but, like I said, everybody’s always going
to have an opinion on you, no matter if you’re Tom, Brady, pageant,
homes, or You know you’re someone else. So like I said, I just, you know,
focus on my teammates focus on my coaches and, you know, just
try to get better each and every day except it’s joint practices. What do
you hope to get out of those with the Giants? Yeah, I’m ready to compete. You know,
the Giants are a pretty good team. You know, they picked up a
lot of guys, it’s offseason. So I’m excited to see our old
line, going, sturdy, line, and they have a pretty a secondary
as well. So excited to see how we match up with them was coach’s message after
today’s game. Yeah, he was just, you know, Proud of the way we
played proud of our physicality proud of the defense for those
takeaways and special teams as well. Of course, you want to clean up
the penalties for sure, but I think overall, he was, he was
good and I’m excited for Coach. He got his first win as a coach.
