Oihan Guillamoundeguy is a winner on the HotelPlanner Tour after securing a three-stroke victory in the Irish Challenge at Killeen Castle.
The Frenchman signed for a two under par round of 70 on the final day to reach 11 under par for the week, with Swiss Ronan Kleu in second place on eight under par.

Guillamoundeguy climbs from 15th to sixth in the Road to Mallorca Rankings following his win in Co. Meath to boost his chances of promotion to the DP World Tour, with the leading 20 players graduating at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who has had his brother caddying for him throughout the 2025 campaign, was delighted with how they worked together on the final day to earn a maiden win.
“I’m just feeling so proud of myself,” he said. “Today wasn’t the easiest day.
“I didn’t play really good but I managed it well with my brother. I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart. He’s doing an amazing job with me and I love him so much. I’m super proud.
“The goal today was to play how I did the first three days. I know that I like tough courses, and this was a proper golf course and a great test of golf. I was feeling really good out there.
“I think I’ve made a big move towards the DP World Tour. I will give my best for the rest of the season and keep doing a really good job with my brother on the bag.”
Guillamoundeguy, starting the day three off the lead, made his first birdie of the day on the second, and despite dropping a shot on the very next hole, birdied the sixth and eighth to move into a share of the lead alongside overnight leader Jeppe Kristian Andersen from Denmark.
The Frenchman birdied the ninth for a third gain in four holes, and with Andersen only able to double bogey the same hole, he had turned a three-shot deficit into a three-shot lead by the turn. A bogey on 13 couldn’t derail his round and he parred his way home to make sure of victory.
Guillamoundeguy, who arrived in Ireland after recording four top 20 finishes in his last five starts, says the three-shot swing on the ninth was crucial on the final day.
“On nine when I made a birdie and he made double, I hit one of the most beautiful shots of my golf life,” he added. “It bounced just short of the flag, hit it and went 20 yards away.
“I made the putt and I think that was the moment I knew I had a good chance. I had a three-shot lead, and I just needed to keep doing what I was doing. I’m super proud. Now let’s see what the end of the year has to offer.”

Andersen finished third on seven under par, with Robert Moran finishing as the leading Irishman in fourth place, and with it secured the Christy O’Connor Jnr Memorial Trophy. The 26-year-old also earns a spot in the Amgen Irish Open at The K Club later this year and he was honoured to add his name to the trophy named after the former Ryder Cup player.
“To win a trophy named after one of Irish golf’s legends is amazing,” he said. “It was a great opportunity this week and I’m delighted to have taken it.
“I’ve played The K Club a good few times as it is 30 minutes from my house. The Amgen Irish Open in a few weeks will be fun.”
Italian Stefano Mazzoli, Irishman Paul McBride, Swiss Benjamin Rusch, Denmark’s Gustav Frimodt and Englishman Will Enefer shared fifth on five under par.
The top five places in the Road to Mallorca Rankings remain the same, with Englishman Joshua Berry retaining his place as the Number One. Mazzoli now occupies the final promotion place after his tied fifth finish.
The Road to Mallorca now heads to Finland for the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge supported by Finnish Golf Union, taking place from August 14-17.
