Well, hello everybody and welcome to the channel. Today, Yelverton Golf Club and this is a pretty special one because this is Devon versus Cormal. Here is the lineup for the Devon and Cormal match. We’ve got Devon and Devon versus Cormal. Is it cream on top or jam? First jam, right? And then also Neil is going to be joining up with John in the Cormal team up. Rules of engagement, gentlemen. Certainly no scrapping. We’re going to play greensomes. Now, these boys, uh, John, you play off 22. 22. Neil, you play off eight. So, we’re going to play off scratch. Bernie and I are going to play off scratch. And we’re going to give you boys a shot of hole. Greenoms, meaning we all tee off, pick the best drive from there, and then it’s alternate shots from there to keep the pace of play moving with this well highly highly competitive game. Yeah, this is just a warm-up match. You’re waiting until you come back to paradise. Right, J, you get to go first. All right. Oh, we keep throwing it stuff. Yeah. Do all that. Yeah. Yeah. Let us Yeah. Don’t wind me up. Don’t wind me up. I’m like a cord spring. What you going to hit? Whacking off first. Six. Slightly helping. Bouncy slightly off the back. Yeah. Ah, that’s great. Little left. Come down on that line. Didn’t see it down. Okay. Newly fitted driver in the bag today. Let’s not put pressure on it. We haven’t used We haven’t used it in anger yet. Oximity. Oh. Oh, there goes the fade’s gone. Goes like that. Oh, bad kick to the left. Yeah, but you’ve got plenty of green to work with there. That pin is right in the uh in the middle to right side. Burnts, this is my first appearance for my county since 2001. Oh, we should have worn our county colors today, shouldn’t we? I don’t think it fits anymore. Does it not? Club got seven. Okay. So downwind and downhill, but Oh, she did it low. Oh, that’s low. That’ll do. [Applause] Criy. Nothing wrong with that, Bernie. I’m a bit lost at what club’s it now because I mean, you started with a seven eye and ended up in a three iron. Yeah. I just didn’t think I had enough, so I just presented less loft. What have you got? Six. Six. That’s a goal shot, isn’t it? Go. No, it’s good. Oh, front edge. Yeah, good shot there. Inside yours, though. Is it? No. No. I found a marker on the first leave that there. That’s a good one. Lester Bernie Bar. It’s been a big committee meeting going on here deciding who’s going to chip and you’ve decided that John’s T-shot is the one to be selected. It’s got less stuff to go out the way, doesn’t it? Just a clear line in got 60. Oh, going lobbing. It’s generally all I use. Okay. What to chip with? Yeah. Oh, nice. Really nicely nipped that. It’s not stop though, is it? [Music] What golf ball do you normally chip with? That’s a voice pro plus. Okay. So like a a prov 1×1. So remember he’s using the super soft which was better short game person. I know. Yeah. I feel like there’s a rift early doors here boys. Calm this. Everybody calm down a little bit. Here we go. You must be a good putter if you got a putter named after you. I know. Go a little. Go a little. Good part. Yeah. Nice part. Well done, boys. Good four. That’s good enough as far as we’re concerned. 43. Just see it burning wiggling. Wiggling that way. Yeah. I don’t Doesn’t look loads in it though, does it? It’s gone loads, isn’t it? No. Got that wrong. Hang on a minute. It’ be me. It’ be me ping anyway, would it? Sounds the better part. You happy? Oh, I remember that. That’s not very nice. Was getting a little bit looked a little bit tasty early on, is it? Oh, what a friendly little half that was going. Didn’t sound very friendly to me. I’ll even pick up your warming up. Part four, second hole. Let’s take you down the hole. So, your face with drive it about to where they are now. Maybe a little bit short. And then a green slightly uphill. Good hole this one. Yeah, it’s quite a nice little par five this, isn’t it? Par five. Par five. Par four. Par four. Yeah. Oh, well. Yeah. It is about It’s over 400 yards, I think. Yeah. But yeah, it is a par um It’s a par four. Yeah. John’s in the way of the camera, but this your Is this your first This your first time on YouTube? It’s the first time in front of the camera for me. Oh, bit low, Neil. Should be right down there. Won’t see that shot trace. Pick it up. Yeah, should be all right. Bit of room down there. Oh, dear. Oh, that is a little on the right side. I’m more worried about the road. That was just That wasn’t the club. I think that’s just come right off the tiptoe. Yeah, that’s me. Am I stepping up though? Yeah, you you are our team leader today, Bernie. I always feel like I’m so much more comfortable when you’re leading the team, you know. Criy. It’s all happening here. You see it? Bounced. Okay. It’s not a bad thing, but it’s okay. There’s wide open. Yeah. Little bit left, but should be all right. It’s all right. I think we’re okay, Ben. Yeah, we should be all right. play anyway. Start, you know. I mean, I’ve heard of luck of the Irish, but I’ve never heard of luck of a corner. Luckily, if I’m honest, it is a thing. It is a thing. The piskies are up here with us. He is Celtic cousin of the Irish. So, right. So, we all have a little bit of a kick out from the trees every now and then. That’s That’s good. Right. Perfect position for you, John. Look, as far as we’re concerned, I’ve got to get down as to where you are. Was there for level? Exactly. Yeah. Then it’s then it’s a short game, John. So your thoughts down here, Neil, are that he either wants to keep it short of the mounds or kind of get over the mounds. How far’s he got? It’s 213. 213 flag. So we’re just going to My my theory is just keep going further. Whether it be 50 yards or 100 yards is further. Yeah. Absolutely right. Yeah. Well, that again that’ll do. Yeah. That will do you, won’t it? Yeah, that’s perfect. You’ve you’ve you’ve gone you’ve laid up to his perfect wedge position. Oh, we’ll get better. I promise. That’s fine. No golf in two weeks. That’s what happened, didn’t it? That’s all right. Don’t worry about it. Anything. Sorry, Ben. I’m not promising anything. No, don’t don’t. No, not not this early anyway. So, we landed in the fairway but ended up in the uh trees. We landed in the trees and ended up in the fairway. Do you want me to go for it or do you want to chip out sideways? Um, what do you fancy? I mean, you you can hook that and hook it. Yeah, I’d get it as close as you can to the green if I were you. Something nice and low. Can I just say I had a quick word with Neil a second ago about how he got here. Okay. Cuz I went over the bridge and I said, “Oh, did you have a problem on the Tamar bridge?” Because obviously, you know, there’s a bit of traffic. He said, “No, I went I went the other way around. I went up the A30 and down. That’s because he’s a true Cornish boy. You don’t want to spend £3.” Exactly. It’s I know the bridge has gone up. 3. Yeah. It’s gone up. It’s gone up to three quid now. It was two pound. It was 225. I think it’s gone to now£3. Yeah. True Cornish boy. Wouldn’t spend a panic, honestly. Okay. So, instead of chipping out, we’re going for the You think so? Yeah. I like it, Bernie. May as well just get it as close as possible. I’ve just got to make sure we don’t get straight. Delightful. Bernie, is that on the green? Just curl around that arm. Just sitting on the back fringe. Oh, it’s on the back fringe. Is it? I’ve got a putt. Is that what you’re saying? Got a I think you got a putt. It’s like going around that. I do. Would it? Lovely. You put on that, Lester? I did. I did. Sevy barns we call you now. Sevy barns. You boys, I tell you what, fully loaded up, aren’t you? Like matching golf bags. I know. I didn’t mean to say we’re any good though. 89 yards. Where is it? Oh, yeah. Back left. Back left. That’s okay. Plenty of green to work with. That’s absolutely fine there. Look at that. We’re up already, mate. Look at you. I’ll give it to the piscus. The piscus. Very good. That will go towards the bridge, won’t it? I suppose go towards the bridge. Near the bridge. Near the bridge. Car put up for the boys with a shot. Not quite that much, but not quite that much. Well, I wouldn’t do that. Yeah, just off that. Taking it very seriously. There’s not much chat to the cameras. Chat between themselves. What do you like me to say? [Applause] Say hi. Stay stay. I can roll that. I tell you what, these greens look quick, but I think because we’ve had quite a bit heavy rain over the last couple of days. Slowed them up. Yeah, kept the pace. I mean, you are I would say a nice pace. Yeah, you are downhill, but you’ve got a little bit of sort of fringe to go over it from the right. It’s got to come from the right surely. It’s gone lows down. You got to get it there, Bernie. Got to get it there. We uh we calling halves. No, it’s up to you. I’ve called it calls on that. Okay, cool. All right, it’s fine. Okay, right. Get on then. [Applause] That’s the first one in. That’s the first one in there as well. You like that putter, don’t you? I do love it. I do love it. New putter. Feeling confident. Never in any doubt, was it? Never in any doubt. Just wasting time. Absolutely right, Bernie. All flat, gentlemen. All flat. The third hole. 240 y. There is a back tea, but again, we’re being friendly in this match and we’ve just brought ourselves forward. So, we’ve got a very reachable par four. It is. Yeah. However, you’re going with iron. Going with iron. Okay, sensible. They’re there for nothing. Remember? Oh, that’s left. What has Gilly been teaching you? Yeah. What’s he teaching? I thought you said you had it fixed. Is it? Did you ever fade when you went to see him? Cuz he sorted that out. Absolutely sorted that out. That’s what we’re trying to do. Hey, well done, Gilly. Well done, mate. Yeah, thanks for that, Chris. Yeah, just strengthen up that grip, he said. [Music] That’s that draw. No, not yet. Not yet. There’s a bit of room. There’s a bit of wrigle room out there. A little wedge down there. Just nudge something down there, Bernie. You I think you’ll find one of them. I know it’s like it’s a bit brackeny down there, but I think there’s a few little pockets of love to go with. Give it a go. Hit your two iron when they’re down. We we we push. Thought you said to be nice. We Well, occasionally. Just don’t tell them we said stuff like that. Oh, that is delightful. I don’t even need to tee off really. Nothing wrong with that. Say on my channel. I don’t absolutely like love. Why do I bother with woods? Oh, I like that. Little bit right. Is it turning? You’re on the green, so I’m not too worried. Don’t know. Am I It’s an early shout. A little bit. Right. But I just say, did you say golf is a friend as opposed to friends? No, no, no. We feel like it was a plural, was it? Friends. I’ve got a couple of nice Cornish friends now. Just because you’re Cornish doesn’t mean I’ll discriminate against you. Excuse me. You’ll know my accent, mate. I’m Brristalian, but don’t worry about it. Wandering out through the bracken. And there it is. There is little pockets down the left hand side of the second here or third here at Yelv. I’m still going. How far you got, boys? 104. What club’s 104, John? For the wind. Go eight. Now, nice and smooth. Come on. You got loads of green up the left hand side for it to feed in from like that. Just up the right. A little long. Yeah, just just sailed on the wind a little bit. That’s all right. Chipping a confidence. Come on. Keep building on it. Well done. You taken. Well, we got Bernie’s cuz apparently is in a bush. So, he has picked it up. So, we’re going to play Bernie’s out of here. Um, don’t remember these bunkers this one being. All right. Anywhere just on the green, it should feed down towards the hole ideally. [Applause] Go forward. Go forward. Yeah, I’ll take that to be fair. Yeah. Yeah, you’re on there. It’s not too bad, is it? Yeah. Right. So Neil’s okay. Just pitching over the bunker. Yeah. Not the sort of shot. You really want this one. No. Oh, played it lovely, Neil. So good, Neil. Beautiful, mate. Beautiful. We’ll take it. Yeah, it’s nice. Now, that’s a lovely shot. I was saying to um to John that really the landing spot for that shot was there taking out of play this this trap completely. But you you played it well really really well tidy. No line on the ball today. Oh hello. No lining. No how things have changed. Eh [Applause] not that quick. It’s a good putt though. It’s really good. Our Cornish friends will probably give us that. No, not after. Take it away from our last shot. Yeah. No. Okay. Yeah. Take it away. Take Oh, take it away. Crack it. There was a definite thought on that, wasn’t there? Tell you what, we got to be less we got to be less generous in our We live in Devon, you know, cuz we’d struggle in corn, wouldn’t we? Oh, criy. We need it in. I think you seeing that one there. You wouldn’t want to play forsomes with him, would you? Neil said I need it in. Yeah. Hey, I need it in, so I had to go for it. Yeah, you went for it. Well, that was for the that was for the win. Never in any doubt. What an advert for those new Seymour putters, eh? That is impressive putting. Oh, he just like hit and step, isn’t it? One step. Do you remember those days, Bernie? We used to hit and step. Dan, I haven’t got that good a memory. No, it’s a little loud by this road, but it’s 313 y to that um to that flag up there, which is a little blind, but you’re going at the T marker in the background. All flat. It’s going for the draw. I think that’ll be fine up there. Not going to see it down. Shot tracer will pick that up. God, it’s the busiest road in Devon behind us this one. There it is. There it is. You got to trust it, John. Yeah, that was perfect. Much better. Great swing. Well done, Bernwood. You should wait. Yeah, you should have waited till like hole 14 or 15 before giving lessons. Yeah, sorry. Well, yeah, sorry about that. Bernie going with his fivewood. Now, I’ve just Just right of it. Yeah, I um I’ve seen Bernie knock it on a par four from 300 y away with his fivewood once before. No one else saw it cuz someone was still in front of the shot. Yeah, they did. Yeah, that has got a very good chance, hasn’t it? Might be down a bit in there. I think it runs it runs in from there. That’s a great We might be looking for a golf swing, but still hunting for it. Come on. Come on. DH mine. Let’s go with yours. [Applause] That freak. It’s good cuz I don’t want to chip a shot onto the green. So that’s clever that I think I’ll be putting. That is horrendous. Always strange when you got a completely new club in your hand, you got to try and work out what to do with it. Great drive. I mean, you just got to trust that swing out to the right hand side there with that club. It’s It’s going to help you. Yeah, it’s going to help you. It’s going to rotate itself. That face is going to close down. Got to get out there and practice. That’s the thing. Just go out and work with it. Yeah. Yeah. But seeing is believing, isn’t it? You got to stand there and especially around here it’s tight. Yeah. 67 yards. 67. That’s not a bad uh position to be in. Anything just right at that flag leaves you a nice little uphill putt, mate. Don’t definitely don’t want to be flirting too much with that bunker down there. Yeah, sensible. Oh Haven’t got any spin today, have we? There’s not a lot of spin on those, is it? Think of your partner. Yeah, you did think of me. Yeah, that’s all right. Right. This is a good one because I had this the other day. Somebody tried to putt it off the green back onto their green. Yeah. And the rule is you have to take relief cuz that green is out of play. Yeah. Um, so you have to go to your nearest point of relief, not near the hole. And Neil’s Neil’s gone to the nearest point, not near the hole. Is there be And the fringe counts as normal. Yeah. Fringe is fine, just not you can’t stand. You got to take full relief as well, which you’re doing. You can’t apart from the ball being off the green, but you stood on the green, so you have to take total relief. Oh, that’s a lovely shot, John. Just going to move up here. Oh, there it is. What a shot. Great shot, John. Look at that. Oh, look at this. Fist bumping and all sorts going on. Lovely to see, boys. Lovely to see. Thank you very much. That’s when you know you’re a good you’re a good mate’s a good putter when you don’t even bring your putter out. That was uh that was pretty magical, wasn’t it? Yeah. Lovely, wasn’t it? Cornish. Soft Cornish hands I call it. You bit of moisturizer on those hands, I think, over the years. Yeah. Come on now. Keep going and turn now. Turn. Oh, look at the turn. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Just your length. Just your length. You’re testing me out a bit today, aren’t you? Yeah. Well, you got to every now and then, haven’t you? Testy one. Is it testy? You feel it? Do you want a wave? I’ll have it out. Thank you. There you go. You’re welcome. Friendly round here today, isn’t it? I did bring a pirate, so I thought well [Applause] Oh, I did bring the Take that away. Take that away. Neil, we do not want to see any more. Nice. Is this for the first little first win to go one up? There’s nothing in that, is there? There’s absolutely nothing in that, Bernie. That Bernie and straight up that hill. Friendly. Friendly Bernie. I see what you’re doing there. Very nice, Bernie. Unlucky. Right. All flat still, gentlemen. Was it right? It moved. I’m holding them off. You are holding us off. Right. Don’t you worry, Bernie. Loads of holes left to go. 461 yds off this t hole 19 telling me. So you know what’s nice at Yelvi. You don’t often see the the definition with the fairway and the and the rough. You can see it today. Looks really nice. Looking really good. Um pretty straight away par five slightly downhill. That’s running. Look at it. That’s quite good. You just got to keep swinging out to your right there, John. Yeah. Perfect. Love it. It’s straight. Do you want to Do you want to go knock it down the middle? I won’t bother. Yeah. Good one. I’m not bothering. Oh, I’m not getting past that, am I? I like that one. That’s your Sunday best. And a little bit more in it. Yeah. Should I bother? I might as well, might I? Yeah, get your get some practice in you. All right. Oh, went down the left side. Not seeing that one down from this angle. It might be all right. You know, bit left. Tight, was it? Tight. So, John, are we taking your drive? I think we are. Yeah. Mine I still wasn’t a Well, it was a good drive for me. Right down the middle of the fairway. It’s absolutely fine there. What’s your magic number? Where do you like to get to? What’s your like wedge number? Um, full wedge. Full wedge. Full wedge. I’d like to be about 80 yard to be good. Anything 80. I don’t know. I don’t know. What was he saying? 320. 320. 320. Okay. Bigger. I’ll just I’ll just hit it while I got to do it, mate. All right. Just see what you can get down there then, Neil. Oh, that’s a glorious shot. Get up there then. Go on then. Turn over. Yeah, but that’ll be 80 yards, I would think. All right. Just your number that, John. 197 Bernie saying. Yeah, I’d say that’s about right into a little bit of breeze. It’s not a bad T-shot. I didn’t think I was going to be that far left down there. 97. It’s just a four iron view, isn’t it? Yeah, cuz it’ be come out quite low. Yeah, I like four iron. It should run up there, I think. Chase over that pump. Then right now that could be uh that could be delightful now. That What’s the number? 69. 69 job 69 your favorite got to be your favorite number that it John my old job again come back it comes that old job of yours come back the comes back to point you a little bit out to the right but I thought I think your uh your your partner can probably get his bread and butter on that so you should be absolutely fine there wandering back Neil does have his putter on it just off the edge of the green plenty of green to work with. It’s not too not too thick a fringe, so the putter should work. Okay. Yeah. Okay. [Applause] I like it. Up you go. Up you go. Up you go. Yeah. Really good for pace that. Very tidy. Well done, mate. Very good. Found the back of the green. Not the prettiest, but it’s all right, though. Is it for an eagle, so it should make her feel like we’ve been here before? every [Applause] right. It’s a great roll. That’s very good. Great. It’s a five four for us. Five four is it? Yeah. Burnt. So, we taking the half and moving on. Yeah. Go on. Right. Pick it up, boys. Probably one of the nicest holes on the golf course this one. Certainly from this T box. 124 yard par three. So it doesn’t need to be long. I remember Justin Thomas earn in commentary the other day. He doesn’t reme he doesn’t know or remember holes that are over 200 yds as par threes, but he does remember all the short ones. Yeah. And this would be that 124 yards. What you got? Um I’m going with a seven. Sorry. Sorry. Six iron. Yeah. 52 52 gap wedge. Yeah. Oh, he’s found his swing now. Oh, we’ve got to be on it today on this one, Bernie. Yeah, that’s good. That is tidy. Go on, John. Keep those arms moving. Yeah. Don’t worry, your partner’s there, mate. Your partner’s there. I have a real fear of parreeze. I don’t know why. It’s a real issue with par. So, you try and forget all the paths in, don’t you? Yeah. I love a par. You do like a path three. Don’t have to drive. Yeah. I said, Bernie, you’re the iron player. Yeah. What you got? Right. 50. 50. Yeah. I think that’s a good club. Yeah. That pin is tucked in on that right hand side there, Bernie. But we got to go and we got to make sure We got to make two. Yeah. To have a chance really. Oh, he has gone straight at it. That’s a great swing. Oh, Bernie. I thought I heard pick that up, Bernie, for a minute there. I did as well. Yeah, we got a group behind. So, I thought let’s stick it in there stiff and let’s go on to the next hole. They haven’t got they haven’t got the memo yet, have they? No. Yeah, but it’s fine. These Cornish are always a little on the slower side, aren’t they? I thought it was the Yorkshire people that were tight, but is it obviously Cornish? Is it fed in? Oh, did it? Migration and all that in it. Yeah. Oh, leaning into it. Little bit left, but on the middle of the green, I think. Yeah, left side. It’s all right. Right in the middle, isn’t it? Taking the medal. Yeah, taking the middle. G. Look, you can never get away from being a green keeper, can you? It’s in your blood, isn’t it? You see a divot. You just got a pitch mark in it. I could see when you’re done with all this YouTube and being a golf pro then I could see you going back and do a few voluntary hours at the golf club. I could see that as well. I can’t see me retiring. No. No. A bit of voluntary work on the golf club doing a bit of greens. I think that would that would probably suit me. Not as close as I thought. I can shot though. Well done. Yeah, I’ll take it. Thought it was going to be like a kick in though. M it is a kick in the way you put. The thing with it, you landed on a bit of a downs slope. Funny enough, that’s why it’s not spun as quickly as it probably could have. It would have. Um, just on the right side, looking at where you kind of came in. Yeah. Started left. Lucky, mate. Didn’t want it. Didn’t turn up. I just asked that little question there, B. As it’s to win the hole. He wants to win the hole. What I’m going to do as well is I’m just going to I’m just going to stand behind Neil and just watch this stroke cuz I know people at home like to see us putting stroke and judge a person on their stroke. So considering we gave him the last I’ll just zoom in nice and close on it Dan as well. Oh, he’s not. He’s not me, is he? He just growled and just went Thank you very much. One down. One down. Well done, boys. Very good. Right, the seventh hole. the uh hole 19 telling me I’ve got four in fact Siri thinks I’m involved here now look look at my watch going there 420 yards up that hill into the breeze out the right hand side I would say it’s just straight into I reckon that bunker is more down the left edge of the fairway [Applause] he’s gone for it up the left side sit there sit sit sit that is what I would ball a bush ball. They’ve opened this up a little bit down that left side, haven’t they? Cuz that used to be gauze and um heather was it? I guess down there. Bit heather. Heather or something on it. Bracken. Bracken. Is that a good that word even? Yeah. Bracken. The bracken. It would go out. No. Just kick catch it a little bit off the toe. It don’t want to come back from there. Okay. I would say the door has just opened up for us. Yeah, I could I’m used to eating out of bushes, mate. It’s not a problem. If he’s in bushes, that’s where I normally end up. I don’t know if I want to call you Tommy Shelby over there, to be honest with you, with that little hat on. Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Tommy. Oh, criy. Come on down then. Come on down, B. Heard it. I’m not hearing this again. No. Have a Just have a breather with that one. All right. All right, Dan. Need to find a fairway, mate. Is that me? Yep. That’s me. Yeah. Good. Perfect. Again, there you go. Nice. A1. A bit of aimity in your life. That’s what you need. It always comes back, Bernie. Well, got a couple of options here, gentlemen. Because what could happen, ball is obviously in the edge of the bush, but it is somewhat playable out a little bit. So if if John drops, it’s still John to play. If John chips out, then Neil can play. Yeah. The same amount of for the same amount of strokes. Yeah. Knock out. Yeah. So you can either chip it out or you can take a drop and then you can play up. Well, you do the shot, won’t we? So yeah. Yeah. how much I hit that I get the you just watch out for the route. You can move that cuz that’s obviously not um it’s not affecting the not going to hit the ball. So just just watch your legs on that um don’t don’t say that. Yeah, perfect. That that’ll do. Yeah, that’s Look at the L you got there as well. like teed up giving you. Hey, sitting up like the old coconut boy. Neil, what we got? We got 202. Okay. Got five iron cuz slightly uphill. Slightly into wind. Oh yeah. Like an absolute bullet there. It’s got all the way, isn’t it? Just left the track. Oh, is it? Okay. Good hit, though. Great strike, mate. Well done, Bernie. Up the hill. It’s got to be It’s got to be four at least, isn’t it? I like four of you. 189 to the middle. You got the flag. It’s probably at the back, isn’t it? Yeah. I mean, one middle of the green is not a bad shout down here. Those boys are dropped for two. Played three net two. So, we’re going to be wherever we are for the same. Yeah. One, two. Yeah, they played three net two. Yeah. Or chipped out two. Oh, yeah. Come out like a two iron beautifully. That’ll run up only. I re Have you been sleeping in them grow bags again? Have you got a bit taller overnight? The one lamp. They’re so short. Not going to the bottom. Tired. We’ll put it down to tiredness. I’ll take it. Lovely strike by Neil. Just short of the green. John chipping up the green. [Applause] Oh, keep going. Keep going. Keep going. That’s pretty good. That was a good shot. uphill putt. It’s like a I like the PX shoes cuz they’re very durable, especially off that bottom groove, you know. I think um it’s probably never you can thin one and then not have a smiler in your ball. I think your ball is winning, you know. It’s probably never been it so hard. Nudger, we’re teaching. We’re seeing the durability on the pace as well. Are we not on the green? No. Oh, perfect. Okay. Like if I was going to ask you to place it somewhere and put you here, you know, a lot of winding going on. He’s [Applause] coming down though. It’s swinging or not? No. Good. Good. Trying. Good part. Didn’t move much. Oh, nice hoodie. That popped out. Oh, look at that. Are you selling those? I am. Yeah. Are you Where can people pick those up from? Just Just contact me and I’ll just get hold of you. Yeah. Okay. Bernie, you could do with one of them, could you? Hey, I thought he was dishing them out as the old uh as the old weather’s getting a bit cooler, huh? TK. TK Maxx. [Applause] Oh, it went left. Wow. Right. Okay. So, that is that’s a gimme, is it? Well, you won that one, mate. Okay, we’re going to take that, Bernie. We’re all flat and we’re more than happy with that, aren’t we? Yeah. Yeah. Right. We move on. Sorry to interrupt everybody. Just wanted to take this opportunity to welcome all those people that are new to the channel. If you are new to the channel, make sure you consider hitting that subscribe button. Makes all the difference for us to grow this channel as much as we can. obviously making a collaboration today with John Auggie uh Big Auggie Golf over on his channel. Make sure you go and check that out as well. And don’t forget Bernie’s got his own channel as well. So, make sure you check that out. For those of you returning, welcome back. Just again double check that you’re subscribed. Let’s get back to the golf. Okay, Bernie, the par five, 550 from this point here. I’ve never ever teed off this angle, this tea before. There’s another tee through the trees just over there. You want to hit a draw down there cuz obviously it’s closer down the right hand side than it is the left hand side. Yeah, I think that’s quite a nice club for you. That Yeah, the trusty two iron. It’s got like a rocket, isn’t it? Yeah, it’s perfect. Now we probably a little fivewood. Yeah, you’ve gone like that. I bet that two iron goes like a 3wood by the time it finishes. Well there either bit right won’t see that down it’s in that direction should be all right though right side of the fairway I guess noing on towards the bridge it’s on that bridge Bernie is it I think you’re right I think it was a fivewood down there for something bit left it should be all right left over that bush yeah be all right I think bit room down there Yeah, it’s a line for you. I feel like you’re playing and coaching today. You can’t help yourself when you’re when you’re a natural coach, Bernie. You cannot help yourself. Black foot. Okay, it came through to be fair. It’s Neil’s Neil’s a monster down there anyway. Neil’s gone down the left side. You’ll be absolutely fine down there. There are times I want to listen to Dan the other one. Come on, just go clobber down that left. John, I’m in the place I’m in now because I’ve listened to Dan over the years. Yeah. Decide whether that’s a good or bad thing. You decide from here. But John, just straight down here. Look, John, you’re going the wrong way. Down the left. Down there. Down there. Yeah. As hard as you can. So, we’re going around the corner, are we? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Straight down. Right. Okay. Keep it a little bit bit right of that, John. Bit right of that. There you go. Give it a whack from there. Oh, it’s a great hit. It’s come out of it. It’s absolutely perfect. Look at that. Can’t see it cuz you’re always I’ve always trusted in. I’ll even take you down there. In Dan we trust is what I always say. In Dan we trust. All right. Can you believe it’s the first time ever? But I’ve managed to lip out around that bridge and then scamper its way down to a position which has put you at how far? I don’t know about 260 270 280 something. Okay. 264. You got to the middle of that green B. So it’s not picking it up I think. No, but it’s uh it’s a fivewood isn’t it? I’m not getting there. I think five is too much. You got to 264. probably playing closer to two. You think it’s going to run that much? Yeah, it’s downwind. Everything’s going going. There’s always a lot of room though between I even think two iron’s too much. I think it’s a four iron. No, that’s not good. Okay, two iron. It is then two irons of play. Oh my lord, that is so good. That’s not going to bounce right from there, I don’t feel. No, it’s not there. Not dead. See it? It’s all right. See, it might be a smidge long based on the fact that it was ground was running away from you. I think it’s all right. Yeah. Okay. See, can you believe a plane like that just crept up on us? It come out of the top of that hill and we couldn’t even hear it until the last minute. Very let me low. Very low. Away, boys. Always away. Neil, you’re in the perfect position there. I know. There’s a great shot. Great shot, John. Yeah. 145. 145. Yeah. Okay. Oh, that’ll work as well now. That’s superb. That is coming in lovely. To win it. Kind of wish I’d told you lot to chip out now, but great shot. Thanks for the caddy, Dad. Yeah. Yeah, my pleasure. Yeah, thanks Bernie. Well done. Well done us. I feel like it’s three against one here. Sorry about that. You joined the Cornish. Hey, you got a bit of a cordish blood in you. He wants a cheap take that you take that hood he’s got on now off. He’s got a big O one underneath. Yeah, you got big O tattooed on me arm buddy. On your arm. Something else then. Right, Dan. Right, Burns. Good shot in. I thought you were a little bit down there, but you’ve we’ve ended up in a good spot here. Not too bad. As we lie with the boys, haven’t we? with the Cornish and they’re sitting pretty and they are sat lovely, aren’t they? Um, okay. Big swing out the right. Wind off to the right. Turn. Turn, Rick. Turn. Wait, did it? No. Stay exactly where you think this hole’s done me a few times like that. I always feel like it slopes massively, but when I actually play it, it plays a lot straighter. a putt to go one up again, gentlemen. Hey, and what better to have the tick tock putting guru to be hauling out sink slips off just after the first sort of couple of feet. So, you want to go just about left edge just outside left edge. It’s better rider cup, boys. What I like to see, you know. Chase, chase, chase, chase. Good putt. You take it away. Take it away. Friendly game, isn’t it? So far, I like it. Wow, that’s actually if anything tried to go that way. This green is a funky funky green. Right, gentlemen, it’s all flat. We move on to the ninth hole. Good to be short little par four. 284 yds. This par 4, 9inth hole, Bernie, straight into the wind uphill. Yeah, I feel like we want to make the turn at one up. That’d be nice, wouldn’t it? You know, boys are playing well, aren’t they? They are like taking birdies and not winning old man down. It’s tough school, isn’t it? Tough tough at the top, Bernie. Too iron for Bernie. Oh, yeah. Off the cush. It do that again. I can’t believe how high that bush actually is. Actually, it get higher than that, to be honest. Of course. Plenty of spin, isn’t there? Feel like it’s a nice I keep that in the bag. Nice floaty one. I’m looking forward to seeing that downwind more than into the wind along the line. Going to be uh going to use it wisely. I think this club. Oh, Neil Bush is thrown us that bush. They said they said they wanted to go one up, didn’t they? Oh, John keep fell off of that one, John. Yeah. Fold back on, didn’t I? Okay. Well, Neils is there as in him play. So, I think that might be the one we have to play there. Pressure there. Absolutely fine here, John. No, no dramas at all. He’s going in with his hybrid though or fivewood or something. Sevenwood. Yeah. Okay. Teed up quite nicely to be fair. Just get that ball back into position, John. All right. Yes. Oh, that’s really good. I was thinking that there was possibly just too much club there, but that’s really good. Come out lovely. Well done, mate. My T-shot has been selected by the Bernie. 129 yds into a slight breeze. Yeah, it’s probably playing about 2 yards uphill. So, players are like 130 131. Um, get back. I just think a night Do you know what I think? I think a nice smooth punchy nine. I don’t think you need to rattle it. I think uh I think with a decent little strike, keeping it nice and low, I think you’ll be absolutely fine. Low. Hey, Oh, so good. Cutting one in there, feeding it in. Delightful, Bernie. Oh, steady now. Steady. Yeah, really good. Well done. Tidy golf. That look I’ve just spotted in your bag here. Are you a little Buccaneers fan? Bucks fan. Yeah. Huh? Well, I know we got the Cornish the Cornish Buccaneers. But you’re an actual Yeah. Do like a bit of old and Yeah. of NFL. I’ve been to their stadium. The uh the Buccaneers. Yeah. Fantastic. They share it with um a uni a college team out there as well. Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay. Yeah, Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. National Champions a few years back, I think. Yeah. Okay. Neil playing what? 104. Okay. Club 52. Okay. Just push one in there. Oh yeah. A little low chaser down. bit right. Not sure if it’s caught that trap or not. All right, John to plate. Oh, go. No commitment. No commitment. Bunker’s not there, is it? So we say I do the same thing. Just see I get I get so rigid and stiff as soon as I see something. Water bunker. There’s nothing there. I can generally chip. Okay. Soon as I see it, I know I’m in there. Probably is sunny in Cornwall to be fair. Yeah, it can’t be lovely in corn. That one. Still no spin though. Is that you picking that up? How many you play? Too many. Too many. Is that one up? Have a putt. That finishes our part here, doesn’t it? Yeah. We’re now going to move over to John’s channel. Finish it with a birdie. Finish it with a Right. We just get a par. Get a par. Save all the excitement for John’s channel. Right, John, that turns us at oneup, I’m afraid. Yep, that’s absolutely fine. Yeah. Um, we’ve got all all to play for. Yes, we have. And I tend to play better on my Do you my channel? Bit of a back n specialist. Uh, we have warmed up by now. Well, everybody, thank you very much for watching. Don’t forget if you are new to the channel, hit that subscribe button and we’ll see you for the back n here at Yelbertton on John’s channel.

Well done for supporting one of the smaller channels,,❤😊
I'm a little conflicted about team Devon. On one had you have maybe the biggest and funniest lad on YouTube (Bernie). Then you have le grande saboteur (DH).😂
Sounds like we could potentially have a Dorset match? Although… You did see us play that time at trethorne

Dan,where have you got the term "all flat" from ? Is it Devon slang for "all square" ?
Well done Devon, can't believe they put jam on first ❤
Jam first! You must be having a laugh, next you will be claiming that the Cornish invented the pasty and not Devon.
