Welcome to the Double Eagle Golf podcast from the Sky View Sports Desk. I’m Roy J. Acres. Warwick Hills Country Club is the host of the PGA Tour Champions Ally Challenge. We catch up with the 2024 winner of the tournament. the 2024 winner of the tournament, Steuart Sink, talks to us, and he tells us the easiest hole or the most enjoyable and fun hole he has on the course, the hole he played the best, and also the hole that he left a little meat on the bone, and he knows he has to play a little bit better in 2025. Uh, Stuart, what is the most fun hole that you play every year at Warwick Hills Country Club? I think the most fun hole is probably the 12th hole. It’s a short par4. There’s some bunkers in the fairway, but if you hit the ball about uh if I remember right, 280 in the air or more, you have a chance to get to the front of the green. And uh with a good drive, your work’s not finished because you can have some really tricky little pit shots from very short range. And I showed that last year by hitting really good drives two of the three days and not converting either of them converies. So, um I hope to do a little bit better on that hole, but it’s an exciting hole. You can drive it far and your risk can pay off with an eagle putt possibly. Uh but it leaves uh tricky shots on your second and third. Second hole. The um taking a look at what hole did you absolutely play great Stewart sink golf and you think it’s the key. If you could do it again, you feel like you’ll be in the hunt. Uh the 13th hole I played really well last year. It’s a key driving hole because it’s a short par five, but if you don’t hit the fairway off the tee, then you’re going to be forced to lay up most likely. And I hit three magnificent drives in that hole and hit five iron into the green every day and hit the green and two and two put it for birdie. So, nothing dramatic, but I played the hole really well. Uh, low stress and I hope to replicate that. And what hole do you feel like you left a little meat on the bone from last year? And how are you going to attack that hole? Meat on the bone. Um I’d say probably the 18th hole. I just uh it’s an awkward drive. Um not sure yet whether it’s a driver or a 3-wood or a hybrid or seven iron off the tea. Um but it’s just an awkward angle off the tea. there’s some trouble left and the trees right are just not really um very good and so uh you takes a lot of commitment. I didn’t hit very good T- balls on that hole last year so I felt myself playing defense and um I want to be playing offense out here. Well, thank you Stuart Sink 2024 Alli Challenge Champion. Thank you very much Stuart. We’d like to thank Stuart Sink, the 2024 winner of the Alli Challenge, for telling us his uh most fun golf hole that he’s played, the one he played the best, and also the hole that he knows he left a little bit of meat on the bone.
