Laura, some really great golf out there. Nine under after two rounds. Just how impressed are you with what you put on? Um, yeah, I’m very pleased with that. Obviously, at the moment, I think slightly gutted that the team just missed out. Um, we obviously we didn’t see the scores and um they obviously snuck in a couple of birdies there at the end um that we didn’t see. So, I think until I walked off from my birdie on 18, I thought we were actually headed for the playoff. Um, but yeah, in general, really happy. had a lovely day um out with the girls and uh yeah just missed out with the team. It’s a bit of sweet, isn’t it? Because you’re playing the team and individual at the same time, but you’re really thriving in the individual, but you got the three shot lead. Um some great golf as I mentioned, but let’s talk about that pass save on 16 because you really held your nerve out there and it’s all about the resilience. Yeah, well I think um I got well I hit it slightly left off the tea on 15 and it got a really bad bounce. I was up against a tree and made a bogey there. Um and then yeah, hit it slightly left off the tea again on uh 60 and went in the hazard. Um and had a drop, had a perfect lie and was a little bit between two clubs and thought, okay, if I hit a little nine, there’s a lot of wind up there that should pitch perfectly at the top of the slope or just um at the last bit of it and then um should stop and hopefully finish next to the pin to set me up for a par save. That’s exactly what happened. Um and yeah, I had like a three-footer for par and was quite pleased with that one. It’s not just this week because you’ve had some strong results this season, haven’t you? A couple of top tens, a couple of top fives. What do you put these performances down to? I think in general, we’ve just worked on a lot of things and um trying to make changes. Uh putting all the puzzle pieces together. Uh we had a long chat. Um our coach was here for for three days leading up to this event and we chatted after after the open last week. We’re like, okay, so obviously there’s a lot of stuff going in the right direction, being able to contend last week for two days, but then kind of fell away over the weekend. Um, so trying to figure out what is it that kind of the key elements longterm that I need to be looking out for. And I think that picture is just getting a bit clearer of what we’re trying to do. And, um, yeah, Sam’s been great and just helping helping me be really clear with my thoughts and, um, with his guidance. And he was here, um, yeah, making me feel good going into the event. And uh yeah, I think just in general just plotting away with the right things. It’s working. Well, the last time you had the lead or held the lead, it was over Carlotta. And again, this is happening this week by three shots. So, what can you draw from that experience that will help you out tomorrow? Well, I think that was really on in my career. I think that must have been 2019 or so. Didn’t quite go to plan that day. Um but I learned a lot. Um Kota is a great competitor, obviously, amazing player. It’ll be a lot of fun to play with her. I’m sure we’re going to have some crowds out tomorrow. Um, yeah, I’m just excited to be in that position again. It’s been it’s been a while and um, yeah, I think it’s always fun to be contending. To get over the line for the first time on the Ladies European tour, what would that mean? Everything. I think in general, I just want to play good golf. Um, and I think that’s going to be my my goal tomorrow. Put good swings on and kind of see where that takes me at the end of the day. Best of luck playing at your second home. Thank you.
