Bubba Watson put together one of the finest six-hole stretches in live golf history last time out when he went eight under par to put Waco under pressure individually. He ended up finishing second and he opens today with a birdie to get to one under par. Bryson for birdie at two to join the leaders on four under par. What a start. Hos bias there. We mentioned his form a few moments ago and he is in a tie now for the lead. He teed off at the par five third. He birded that then at the par three fourth consecutive birdies for the young Spaniard who is four under par. This was Dean Burmister at three a moment ago. He’s who drove it into the left fairway bunker laid up. This is just a wedge. Slopes right to left where the whole location is. Nice job. Brooks will be next. It’s a weird little shot because it has a uh a tear to the right that feeds down to it, but you really can’t play that kind of spin because the wind is off their left. This looks better. Bryson for birdie at five. Oh yes. Second shot wasn’t his best, but Bryson is five under par to the delight of the hordes of golf fans following here at Bowlingbrook. He’s five under. He leads by one. And right at the same time, Brooks was over at the third and had this for birdie. Brooks back to three under Lucas Herbert. It’s his second into the ninth. Oh, that’s a magnificent shot coming in. Don Wind gets a little checked on it and he is three of the power. This is Anaban Liheri for birdie at two. And he gets it to three under par. Just two back. And with three birdies in his last four holes to the eighth and Jose Bayister his third. Just caught that so perfectly. Beautifully played. This is Bryson for his par at seven and to stay tied for the lead. He missed nine greens in regulation yesterday. Got it up and down all nine times. So this to keep that 100% scrambling record intact. You’re a good punt. Brilliantly done by Bryson. To the green at six. Phil Mickelson for birdie. Yeah. Oh, that’s loud in our booth. He’s in the hut once again, Phil. Oh, this is probably one of the most unpredictable greens in terms of trying to figure out that first bounce. The whole location’s on the right side today and it slopes left to right. Okay. Well, elsewhere, Carlos Ortiz has helped Torque climb to fifth place. This was Taylor Gu. His second shot at 10, whose recent form has seen him leap way up the standings to fourth place from nowhere. And that’s the sort of form that has got him just one off a podium finish in the season long standings. Up at nine, Jose Bayister for the lead. Well, if round one was about the legends of golf, Super Saturday so far is about the young gun Spaniard Hos Bay who leads by a shot. That’s Burmeister 88 yds away. His second shot at number seven. Far Mister has a chance to get to five under here. Consecutive birdies for Dean Burmeister. Elsewhere at a breezy bowling brook, Matthew Wolf has returned from a back issue which forced him to miss a couple of tournaments. This is for Birdie at 17 and he is level par. Danny Lee is one under after an eagle at the par five 14th set up by that third shot. Oh, in fact that was the third shot. And here is Taylor Gu his second at 11. This has to feel just like playing golf at home in Oklahoma City right now. Absolutely hot and windy. Lovely shot. Up one to nine. Bryson Dambo Dom. Yeah, a little unfortunate. It’s on a uphill lie, which is not what you want when it’s straight down wind. You’ll have a hard time trying to keep this one down. Rough that borders this front side of the green. That’s got to sit, I think. It did. Well, wild card Anthony Kim endured a horrible day yesterday with an 82. It’s been a good response so far today. That was for Birdie at four. He’s one on the path for his round. Anaban Lihiri. This is for Birdie at four. The pride of Pune India. That’s his fourth birdie of the day. And Lihiri is within three of the lead. Can Sergio get things going? But he’s a long way out with this birdie opportunity at eight. Keep going. What a putt. Oh my goodness. That is the sort of thing that can turn your day around. Carlos Ortiz teed off at 10 at one over par after an opening round of 72. He birded 12 then 14 and 15 and he birded 17 and that was at 18. He’s played the back nine holes in 31. Carlos Ortiz and he’s four under par two back of the leader 6T and Anthony Kim good show of character today from AK after a horror show yesterday [Music] and that’s as good as we’ve seen at the sixth and he drains that a mighty roar for a popular character. 27 to play. We are halfway home at Live Golf Chicago. Well, will this man finally win a Live Golf League title? It is a remarkable story. Richard Bland, he missed this eagle put up 14, but made Birdie excelling once again in the Live Golf League and he’s tied for the lead after that. Birdie at 15. Goodness me. Annaban Lehiri the par four seventh. That’s his fifth birdie of the day so far. John Ram his second of the 12th. That’ll be good. Be good. Come on. Really hard to get it close to this flag. And that is a glorious shot now for Eagle. Oh, right in the center. That is just what he needed. Finally, John Ram arrives on Super Saturday and he’s back to his overnight three underpar. Two back of our leaders after a huge T- shot at 14 by a stair. His second shot. That’s a wedge. David downwind. A wedge right at it. And a great chance for Eagle. [Music] by a stare. That’s Eagle at 14. He’s seven under and has reestablished a twoshot lead. John Ram here with a pitching wedge. Finally something good happened for him. That eagle on the last. Will it propel him to more birdies and eagles? Oh, that’s a good start. And Jay Polley, also known as Max. [Music] And that’s the best shot of the day we’ve seen so far at six, [Applause] the 11th hole. DJ with his second shot. DJ to a chance at 11. Well, we haven’t seen Thomas Peters today. This was his uh third shot at the extremely difficult first hole. He avoids the embarrassment of putting now. John Rahm coming off an eagle at 12. So still hasn’t made a birdie, but here’s a chance at 13. Here he comes. But John Ram is four under par. That’s a tie for third. Three backer Bay Stair, but crucially, he’s put seven shots between himself and our seasonl long leader, Waco Nean. Then Waco Nean might not be hearing the cheers, but he he’s going to notice the scores. Richard Bland plays away at 17. Yeah, just such a slander, shallow green. Oh yeah, got to get the right club. like that. Oh yeah, beautiful shot. Dean Burmeister has joined the plethora of recent Eagles by the leading players here. This is at the par five 12th. Burmeister solo second six on the par one back of Bayair. No Pereira. What’s he looking at here? Well, that lie is not too bad at all. It’s just trying to figure out a landing spot. It’s going to be downhill, left to right. That’s well played. That’ll make up for the short miss on the last. Well, Bubba Watson electrified UK fans last time out with an eight underpar six hole stretch that earned him a second place finish his best in the Live Golf League. That was for Birdie at 16. He then bog 17. So Bubber is one over par for the competition. Charles Hal the third. This is for Birdie at 17 at 14. This is Phil his third shot. [Applause] chance to get back to four under Charles Schwarzel his approach at 18 to near perfection. Big moment for John Ram for birdie at 15. Wow. It’s a four-hole stretch of eagle and three birdies. And Rambo is back in the hunt. He’s two off the lead and crucially in the title race. Nine shots clear of Waco Nean by a step for par. Well played. This is so impressive. Well, Dean Burmeister hit a beautiful T-shot at 15. A little further left. This would have run around and towards the hole, but simple chip. Nicely done. He’ll have that to get a nine under. Yeah. Brilliance from Dean Burmister who leads by a shot here. Sergio off his T- shot at 15. That’s what he does so well. He made birdie at 15. Obviously there on the 18 basically four shots inside 25 yds. Could have converted that to a birdie but here he is that lie sitting down as well. Oh, great shot. So good. Yeah, that really is. Strap it in. Oh, that will shorten the 18th considerably. Oh my word. Oh, he didn’t. I can tell you guys it’s 10 paces from the front edge of the green. 10 paces. I’d hate to be your ex-wife. Now, John Ram did exactly what Brooks Keker did yesterday. Walked up to the green, stood on his landing spot, and got Andam Hayes to laser the distance. And it’s a good 15 paces short of the Hulk. That’s a little further than where he wanted it. Oh, grabs beautifully. Lovely shot. Well, what a back nine holes at Bowling Brook here for John Ram. This is at 18. His penultimate hole to get to seven under par [Music] to the second green then. And Hos Bayister who led for a good portion of the second round. He’s still level in second place with fellow Spaniard John Rahm. But this to end his second round with a birdie. Well, a five underpar round of 66 for Josel Bay there after having dumped his second shot from a tough lie on the right rough. Phil Mickelson’s third. If it touches the flag still goes in. Well, this would fall into the bonus category, I think, for Dean Burmeister. It’s a birdie putt. It’s a long way out. He said some beautiful putts today. And that’s another one. Well, it’s the closing stages of a compelling second round at Live Golf Chicago. Dean Burmeister leads by two. This was Bryson’s second shot at his final hole. The first in the hole. Get in the hole. Great swing. Fabulous shot into the breeze from 190 yds. Bryson end his round with a birdie. He certainly can. Bryson Desambo is six under par heading into championship Sunday. Three back of Dean Burmeister and it’s set up beautifully for championship Sunday. [Music]
