— The 104th Resorters Tournament is in the books. 10 champions were crowned at the Alexandria Golf Club.

Alexandria native Hannah Boraas captured her second Women’s Championship in four years and her fourth title overall by defeating St. Petersburg, Florida, native McKenzee Sullivan 5-4 on Saturday. Boraas, who recently transferred from Montana State to South Dakota State, defeated Avery O’Donnell, 2-1, in the semifinals to begin the day.
In the Men’s Championship, recent Morris Area-Chokio-Alberta graduate Charlie Hanson earned a dominant 5-4 victory over Eau Claire, Wisconsin, native Parker Etzel to win his first title. Hanson defeated 2-time Men’s champion Jacques Wilson 2-1 in the Men’s Championship semifinals to start the day.
Troy Johnson of Maple Grove won his sixth Men’s Executive title by beating Alexandria’s Bryant Black 4-3 in Saturday’s championship. Johnson defeated Dave Christenson 1-up in the semifinals on Saturday morning.
Betsy Aldrich claimed her sixth Women’s Executive title on Saturday by defeating Alexandria’s Stacy Faith 3-2.
In a dramatic back-and-forth match, Traeton Nelson, a golfer for Ashby-Brandon-Evansville, defeated Alexandria’s Henry Buttweiler in 19 holes to win the Junior 13-15 title.
Sartell native Jackson Bergstrom capped off a dominant Junior 10-12 title run by defeating Brady Boe 4-3.
A day after beating 11-time Resorters champion and the winner of the last three Men’s Masters titles, Jon Empanger, Tom Ryan won his second Men’s Masters title in five years by beating Greg Mattson 1-up.
In a battle against the 2023 Men’s Senior champion, Steve Berg won his second straight Men’s Senior title by earning a 1-up win.
Glenwood native Josh Sherlin overcame an early deficit to win the Men’s Regular title over Kendell Banyai, 4-3.
Rounding out the list of champions is Resorters newcomer Doug Taylor, who won the Grand Masters title, winning 5-4 over Peter Keeley.
Ari Horstman of Alexandria won the Junior 10-12 1st Flight at the Little Darling Par 3 Course, 2-1 over Zander Stubbs on Saturday, and was recognized at the awards ceremony.
