How come no one really talks about Cleveland wedges anymore? Back in the day, the 588 Tour action was the wedge everyone played. Junior college professional, everyone played those wedges and everyone wanted those wedges. Then somewhere it switched and everybody wanted a Vokey and still everybody wants a Vokey. But slowly and steadily, Cleveland has kept making really good wedges. And these 2025 RTZs, dare I say, are the best wedge of the year. I’ve spent some time testing them and my goodness, the feel is unmatched. The performance is so good. The numbers they create, they look phenomenal. Roger’s back with the company, so that’s just warm and fuzzy. But I don’t get it. I don’t know why no one talks about Cleveland the way that Cleveland deserves to be talked about. Like tour players are winning majors with Cleveland wedges. Non- Cleveland staffers are using Cleveland wedges. There’s just this misnomer in golf that Vokei is the best wedge out there. And don’t get me wrong, they’re really, really good, but Cleveland deserves to be in that conversation, especially with these RTZ wedges. So, sound off in those comments. Tell me I’m wrong or let me know. Are you using Cleveland wedges? And if you haven’t in a while, I think these RTZs are a great jumping point for you to get back and test them and find those those good vibes that Cleveland has always been creating.

Like I said before if I had the money go out and buy new wedges I wouldn’t be looking anywhere else apart from there Cleveland RTZ. Would choose them over titleist vokeys all day!
Cleveland and Srixon are terrible at marketing. Titleist is probably the most well marketed brand, a lot like Nike, and Vokey wedges are no exception. There are great wedges out there from Cleveland, Callaway, Mizuno, and TaylorMade, they just don't market as well as Titleist
Cleveland makes the best wedges 100%. I play the CBX 2 52 & 58 wedges.
Cleveland marketing is non-existent, and they sorta divided their focus with all of those strange looking cb wedges.
Look at the category leaders like Titleist and (now) TM. They don’t make those bc it cheapens their brand.
2000-2005 were phenomenal years for Cleveland. The TA1, TA2, TA3, TA5, TA7, CG1 ironswere all soooo good. And the Comp 460 driver was one of the best drivers ever. In 2004 Vijay went on a tear reached #1 in September. After that, Cleveland kind of went on a decline.
Their wedges have always been top notch though. They just don't push them. I mean Shane Lowry is one of the best wedge players ever and loves his clevelands. I might just have to pick up the new Cleveland wedges myself.
