This COULD be the PERFECT Set of GOLF CLUBS…BUT would YOUR EGO Stop YOU?!
In this golf bag, I believe I’ve got a set of golf clubs that could be good for every level of golfer. But how will they compare against your tailormaids, pings, callaays, PXGs, and tightless? There’s one thing for me that maybe will help them stand out. And the first thing we need to address is the top end of the golf bag because this is a combo set. So, a combo set for me, I believe, is going to help a lot of golfers. So 90% of you watching this video could probably benefit from having some more forgiving clubs at the top end of your golf bag. And I think these clubs could be even perfect for a beginner golfer. So Jimmy, as you’ll see on screen, will be coming to the channel very soon. A friend of mine who’s just took up the game. He’s got the bug and these golf clubs could be perfect for him. But on screen mid handicap day, if he has hybrid irons, potentially these could be a set for him. And certainly we’re going to be testing that on the channel in coming weeks. But also the bottom end of this bag could be for your single figure golfer. But we’re gonna start with the hollowbodied clubs at the top end. And straight away there, not a fantastic golf swing, not a fantastic strike, but not a bad result. So again, forgiveness from these clubs at the top end of your bag is required because even somebody like myself, a PJ professional, not the best strike, I’ve got away with that. I can still get easily onto this par 4 in two. Let’s look at the rest of the clubs in these bag and let’s discuss that one thing that I believe might stand them ahead of those premium brands. And guys, as always, if you are new to this YouTube channel, then welcome to this YouTube channel. If you want to help us on that journey up to 50,000, the channel is certainly growing pretty fast at the moment. We’d love you to be a part of it. And guys, if you’re regular viewer, thank you very much for being a subscriber. But today, we are talking about a combo set that will cost you less than £600. So, we got premium components, premium grips, again, premium heads on these clubs. And you can see straight away from that first shot, we have got some forgiveness. But we go from hollow body clubs into CBS. So you might be thinking, well, CBS might be a little bit too hard to hit. But this is where you can obviously tailor this set because you might want something forgiving a little bit further down the golf bag. So you might want to have more of the forgiving irons at the top end. Maybe go down to seven iron, eight iron. then your nine and your wedge are the CB because you feel like you have a little bit more control of those. And this is certainly something that you can do with these irons right here. Let’s hit the CB and then let’s tell you what brand we’re talking about. So certainly not position A, but certainly just what it deserved because again it wasn’t the best strike, but we’re still in with a chance to reach this green. We only have 150 yards into this par4, but this is where you would potentially have seen if I’d have had a full set of CBS. If I’d had the four iron CB, then we might be 30, 40 yards back there because we wouldn’t have got the forgiveness from that strike. And this is what we see from a lot of golfers. When you go for a fitting, we know that you’re fitting just with a seven iron. And then from there, somebody might build you a set of golf clubs and they’ll build around that seven iron. So if you strike the 79 fantastic with the CB, they might continue that throughout the bag. And this is where that’s not potentially going to help you. This is where somewhere like SGGT that fits you with a 4, 6, 8, and pitching wedge can really dial that in. And you can dial this setting. You just have to be unfortunately honest with yourself. Do you really hit that four iron great? Do you hit your five iron great? Maybe you don’t even hit your sixiron great. So they can all go and change to something more forgiving like the set I have today. So just up the right drawing back nicely. Incredibly easy to hit just on the front edge. And you might notice and you might know by the color of the grips or by the color of the fereral. We are talking about the H Burley series irons, the CBS and the H Jubilee set of irons. And the set I have, I do have a 4 iron, 5 iron, and six iron in the Jubilee set. And then I do have seven iron to pitching wedge in the burly series in the CB. So very interesting. You might think, well, lofts will be different. That’s a good thing about the Jubilee iron. So they’re not stacked. They’re not obviously stronger lofted. They do fit in nicely with this set which is a little bit of fresh air because it’s harder from other brands potentially tailor maze calls even Tacomao to maybe match in that hollow body and a CB because normally the hollow bodies are a little bit stronger to get you the distance as well as getting you a better launch and obviously more forgiveness. So I think it’s a massive tick and obviously the price is a massive tick. So, all round so far pretty good. But we’ve just missed the green here. How does the pitching wedge feel? And the pitching wedge is brand new out of the wrapper. So, straight away, we should get plenty of control, plenty of spin. Again, behind the golf ball for a CB, I wouldn’t say they’re the smallest looking CB. So, the top line is a little bit thicker than I’ve seen from your other brands, especially Tacomao, because we do use those a lot. and even your tailormaides and your Callaways. We would see that they are a little bit thinner on top. I like it’s got a nice big blade length on there. Certainly a nice finish. So, can’t complain about that. But this is where obviously it could go into a lot of people’s bags because they do look more confidence inspiring behind the golf ball. They do look a little bit more forgiving than those other brands that might again behind the golf ball just put you off. You tense up a little bit even on these shots. and we thin it straight through. So, another tick from this brand and it’s a brand that we’ve only just heard of really. We know a lot of people have been asking and requesting though. So, again, didn’t check up on there. Did feel slightly firm, but it was low on the face there, but it was right out of the middle. So, very interesting there. Not the look I was expecting. Performance-wise, not too bad. Let’s see if we can haul out before we talk a little bit more about those Jubilee irons. So, we have just run past and we are just off the green. But talking about the irons, I have tested the Burley series MBS on the channel and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I thought they were fantastic. Thought they’ve done a great job. And the CBS very similar. I think they will have a great market. The Jubilee, I do have to say, isn’t for me. It doesn’t suit my eye, but I think there is the perfect market for these. Again, they’ll be perfect in these combination sets. You might have them in there for a while whilst you’re having lessons, you’re improving, you’re getting your handicap down. You might then replace them, but there’ll be people who potentially buy a full set of those because somebody like Mid Handicap Dave might enjoy the look of these. He might get the performance. And it’s that kind of individual who I believe a full set of these would be good for somebody maybe who’s heading towards a senior. You’re losing speed a little bit. These are going to generate you the launch. They’re going to give you all the forgiveness and they’re not hybrid irons because we know in golf there is a lot of egos. There’s a lot of I’m not using those. I’m not using a 9wood. I’m not using a sevenwood. So I’m still a golfer. I still play proper golf. That might be the case, but you might not be enjoying your golf as much. Your handicap might be going up. So, these could be the perfect set for somebody who’s maybe losing that little bit of speed. Somebody who obviously wants to still enjoy the game. These offer an iron look behind the golf ball, even though a little bit bigger behind the golf ball than I would like to see. But if that keeps you in irons and keeps you enjoying your game, then I think they could be a massive tick for you. But how forgiving are they? And that’s one thing I’m going to see with these irons. It’s very hard for me to create shots for there. I couldn’t really play that down. I was trying to flight one in there. Just the look behind the golf ball doesn’t suit me. It felt fantastic. The sound is great. The interaction with the turf is great. That is probably me being put off with these a little bit because of the size. That doesn’t mean they’re not good golf clubs for you. So, that’s what you have to think. What are you trying to achieve? What are you looking for? And what do you want to see behind the golf ball? What’s going to give you confidence? Because those irons certainly could give you confidence because they do look very forgiving behind the golf ball. The price is the main talking point of this year because a lot of things are getting more expensive. Life in general, unfortunately, is getting more expensive. But these are still a very affordable price. So for that full set, full to pitching wedge under £500 I would say is good value. We know that obviously when you go to other premium brands, obviously the marketing’s higher, they’re looking at potentially £1,000 for a combo set, maybe £900. And that £300 difference, although might not sound a lot, obviously is a lot when you think about how many lessons that could potentially buy you because you might want to improve your game. you’ve got your new irons you want to get better. Well, that 300 pound save could go straight into that budget for some lessons or even just having one to get an idea of what you’re trying to do. And if you’re a regular viewer of the channel, guys, you know that on the channel we do like to get mid- handicap Dave involved. We know he likes to test clubs and would I think he might have a total reverse opinion. So, he might love the Jubilee clubs. It might look nice behind the golf ball to him and he might be scared of the CBS. So this is where obviously different level golfers you’ve got to think about what you are wanting. Dave might think the opposite, but we’ll bring out does Dave need a combo set or does he potentially need a full set but not of these CBS. Well, that from the pitching wedge was delightful. Now, when we see one of these irons, one big thing we need to talk about before the end of this video is that it’s not a driving iron and it’s not a power bat as some would say. So, yes, it’s classed as a game improvement iron, which a lot of people get scared of. They hear game improvement and think not for me. But these are just obviously more forgiving. So, more forgiving clubs. They’ve obviously got that perimeter weighting. They’ve got that bigger size. We do have obviously plenty more behind the golf ball and we’re going to get the forgiveness that you need in these longer clubs, but by no means are these driving irons. So, it’s not just a case of right, they’re really strong, so I can’t have a full set of them. You can have a full set of these like we’ve just discussed. That could be the perfect set for mid- handicap Dave, for example. Could they beat his hybrid irons? We’d have to test that out. And if you want to see that, guys, get in those comments below. But these are just designed for forgiveness. You can have them as a full set. And I’ve proved so far that they are forgiving. But they’re also designed for that right there, a high launch and long distance. And that has gone an incredibly long way down this par five where you do have to play a little bit of a tactical shot down there to stay inbound. So fantastic calls from H. They’ve done a really good job here with that combo set. And like I said at the start of this video, yes, a lot of golfers could benefit from having that combo set, but also a lot of golfers could be better with just the CBS if you’re having lessons and you’re improving, or maybe just having a full set of these Jubilee irons if you’re speed slowing down, you want a little bit more launch, you want that forgiveness, but you still like the look of an iron. And again, price-wise, guys, check them out at H on the website that’s in the link in the description because incredibly affordable, another fantastic option if you’re looking for new irons either before the end of the season or over the winter.

Let's see what Dave thinks.
Would it you Chris ?
Thanks for the review Chris, fantastic Job and much appreciated 😊
Par 4 Chris Dennis on the green in 4 strokes and settles for a bogey five. Credit though for saying these promo clubs are not for him.
Gapping is great too in the combos because the lofts are ridiculous. I play the Jubilee 4-6 and CB 7-AW and it works really well for me. I've been playing 25+ years with a set of cast clubs and decided to get lessons and try and up my game and these have been transformative so far
Good review Sir, Cheers.
David maxfield is the best in the business and his customer service is something I haven’t experienced before, and for reference there is NO game improvement iron like the jubilee series on the market period that has a game improvement iron with the lofts of a players club(7 iron loft is 33 degrees for all the Haitch range) and the feel of the clubs are amazing,I’ve just received my pro series GW,SW & LW and will be getting the jubilee series irons as not only are they a great club, they are an Australian owned & operated company so I want to support Aussie businesses
And if you want top notch grips,he’s just got the gripmaster roo grips up on the website aswell so I applaud u to have a look at them as those grips, combined with these irons are a game changer
I think mid handicap Dave WILL LOVE these clubs in 4-PW
Get Dave out with them🎉
Enjoyable as always. What is the chance of comparing the Haitch CB against the Takamo 201s?
