Sarah Ferguson sought an A-list match after her 1996 divorce from Prince Andrew, reportedly pursuing golf star Tiger Woods. According to Andrew Looney’s new biography, The Rise and Fall of the House of Ferguson even traveled 1,500 m to see the gorgeous athlete. She confided in Piers Morgan about her crush and attended golf tournaments to cheer him on in hopes of sparking a romance. Ferguson told Morgan, “I would follow him around the golf course for a bit and see how I get on.” To which Morgan reportedly replied, cautioning her that Wood’s busy career might not accommodate dating royals. Ferguson was photographed embracing Woods in 1997 after his Byron Nelson tournament victory. Most recently, they were seen celebrating his win at the 2019 Masters, where she expressed her pride on Instagram, writing, “Never have I been more proud. Good Days and Bad Days, Tiger’s Heart is loyal, steadfast, and he is an amazing friend. Ferguson also eyed other celebrities during her US visits. Looney mentioned she pursued John F. Kennedy Jr., Kevin Cosner, and George Clooney following her split from Andrew. On one trip to New York, she allegedly had her staff check if Kennedy was available, extending an invitation for drinks that never materialized. Moreover, Looney described how Ferguson reportedly played Cosner, 70, with runchy phone calls and expressed interest in Clooney, 64. Ferguson and Prince Andrew announced their separation in 1992, finalizing their divorce four years later. They share two daughters, Princess Beatatrice, 36, and Princess Eugenie, 35.
