Branden Grace opens up about the struggles he’s faced over the last few seasons — from a recurring wrist injury and form slump, to the grind of rebuilding his swing in 2024.
Now feeling stronger, more confident, and hitting the ball further, Grace is chasing form and fighting for his future in the LIV Golf League.
Shot at LIV Golf UK by JCB, this is a raw look into what it takes to bounce back.

the end of 2023, I was heading back to South Africa, played the SA Open at Bethl. Um, teed up in the first day, we had a rain delay, came back the next morning, hit a ball on the range, and I just felt something isn’t right. You know, it wasn’t feeling good. I’ve had a history of ganglians in my wrist. You know, I’ve had a 2024 was probably one of my worst seasons in my career. Um, I want to say I’ve probably almost worked the hardest in in 24. Um, I really put in a lot of time and effort, but you get your with your back against the wall and you you want to get out of it, but you just can’t get out of it. And um, I think over that time my swing and things have changed that I was kind of adapting to the wrist and I think I was doing it without actually even thinking about it really. And um so then you kind of have to start making decisions on what you’re going to do to go forward. Did some swing changes trying to get back to to where I should be. Um the way I I know I can hit the golf balls and things like that. And um we decided to make some changes, some things that can get me back to where I need to be. And I feel good. Um it feels different, but it feels good. I’m hitting the ball further. I’m hitting it better. Now I need to do what I need to do for for Brandon. It’s been good, you know. Um, but it’s been good. Everything has been feel like it’s coming along and um, you know, I was I was excited to come to this place. Everybody said like yourself, you know, this place suits me down to a nip. So, um, I was really excited to come here and it was nice to to play some good golf. I’m proud of you, bro. Good job, man. Thanks.
