Todd Lewis from the Golf Channel here. Uh Rick, I know it’s uh only Thursday and there’s live golf still be played, but how big was getting off to the start you got off to today? Uh yeah, it was good today. You know, the last few days through prep, a lot of stuff felt good. Swing to making putts. uh you know had some birdie games uh one or two of the days and and was seeing some good stuff. So I’ve had I’ve had some good showings here at this golf course. Um just had to you know stay patient and you know execute. It’s pretty it sounds a lot simpler than it is but you know this golf course you you have to be playing from the short grass and uh for the most part did a good job of that. Um didn’t make a whole lot today, but um made a nice par save on 13. Made a good putt there. And um yeah, just a all in all solid day. Um I think going around this place whenever you can go around with no bogeies or very few. It’s a definitely a good sign. What’s feeling good about your swing? You kind of said the swing’s kind of feeling good. What’s feeling good about to you? Uh feel fairly free and kind of effortless speed. I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily one of the the long guys out here, but um I do all right for my size. So, um yeah, I feel like we’ve been heading the right direction the last few months and starting to see some some good good finishes, some solid rounds, and um no, this is the kind of start that you want. Um, you know, not not eight under like Shay did, but um, you know, four unders a solid start and like you said, it’s just Thursday, so we’ll try and build on it from here. Do you pay attention at all of where, you know, projections are and everything with where you started the week or you just kind of go play golf and see where it kind of ends up in the end? Uh, well, I mean, I know I need a good finish. I don’t know exactly where that is. Um, obviously the the higher the finish, the the better chance I have. Um, a win would take care of a lot of things. So, um, no, I mean, I know roughly, but, um, I just need to go play some good golf and, uh, put myself in where I have a, you know, in a position and have a chance to go win on Sunday. Do you feel like your best golf is kind of getting going here kind of as the years kind of progressed a little bit more? Yeah. No, definitely. Um, you know, it’s kind of been trending and going that way. And, um, you know, probably I wish I wouldn’t have needed to play as much golf as I have, but uh, that’s also at the same time helped me. Um, I’m glad the the body’s hanging in there and allowing me to to play some golf. And, um, as well as my family traveling with me. And, you know, we haven’t haven’t spent much time at home. I think I’ve had I think I counted it up roughly about 11 days since the end of April at home. Um so yeah, we’re going to see if we can extend that a little longer. Thanks, Ricky.
