our first MMA bout of the night Three threeinut rounds Introducing first out of the blue corner an independent fighter representing Laurel Mississippi Matthew Carney [Applause] And his opponent in the red corner fighting out of SE’s performance and representing Pervis Mississippi Nick Bigfoot Taylor [Music] All right ladies and gentlemen a heavyweight bout Nick Taylor and Matthew Carney Sometimes it’s a little uh of a question mark when you have independent fighters but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re not trained Maybe they’re just in between gyms But let’s see how this goes Sorry about that If you guys were with us and lost connection we uh had a little bit of technical difficulties Front kick by Taylor Yeah leg kick He caught that kick Big take down by by Carney Unable to capitalize off of it though He came ready to throw Oh yeah this he came to the bar just for a barroom brawl Straight kick attack by Taylor Carney putting himself in a really precarious situation with that head control Pretty much pinning him But then again he muscled out of it Look at this slam here Boom Big slam by Cardi now a high high half guard but not able to control the his opponent’s hips But now he transitions to the back Let’s see if he knows anything from here Pretty much trying to bulldog him Yeah he is all aggression All aggression Able to get a big dump Looks like Taylor’s trying to lock in the triangle Oh he’s getting it He’s got it locked He’s got it locked in pretty deep He can arm arm too He can arm arm He can do a lot Let’s see if he’s burst enough to finish it It looks tight Looks tight Yeah Throwing punches from It looks like it might be on his ear more than his neck Right Right He looks like he’s uh able to get a little bit of that pressure resolved by pushing down on the on the frame of his opponent But this might be a fight that’s not worth fighting If he can swing him and mount him from that position that would be Oh yeah ideal Absolutely Carney surprisingly able to last here in this position but now Taylor looking to cut that angle Getting that angle usually secures that triangle super Oh there we go There we go That’s looking tight now He’s ready to tap His hand opened up I don’t think he’s going to tap I think he’d rather go out Yeah he might be out He’s out He’s out No he’s not No he’s not Oh my goodness [Music] What grip by Carney in this position He’s I would have tapped a million times but this guy has no quit in him I think I just tapped the table [Music] That is a tight triangle ladies and gentlemen I do see a little bit of room there though But I don’t know if I think that pressure is on his his jaw so the neck Then I don’t think Carney knows the correct escape out of this or how to defend But we’ve got time He survived Big round for Taylor A lot of action However uh I don’t know if Carney’s going to have enough in the tank in order to to have a good It doesn’t look he much blood in the head right now He’s kind of wobbling over there Absolutely Those uh those triangle chokes are they’re they’re terrible for your your circulation And once you get that rush of blood to your brain it takes a lot to come back from that But all in all a very exciting match Yeah that was a lot of fireworks right out the gate Oh yeah Carney had had come to fight He absolutely has He’s brought everything with him All the grit and determination in the world [Music] Gage is closed Round two Here we go Let’s see how this one plays No touch of the gloves by Carney He has definitely slowed up a little bit His punches are much less set up Now he’s starting to eat some eat some leather by his opponent Taylor sloppy He’s close to having it now Oh yeah If there’s a time to finish it’s right now to come in and close that distance Oh he’s still he’s still got some dog in him It would be nice for the upset Come back to him after that triangle Though he doesn’t have a lot of um a lot of stamina right now He’s got a hell of a lot of grip and he’s got zero quit But big dunk take down Moving them out almost Carney needs to start moving his hips out or else he’s going to get mounted and be put in a really bad position here As tired as he is it’s going to be hard to get out of that position Absolutely If he’s uh if he’s in any situation he needs to tap early instead of putting himself in some situations that he can’t come out of Oh that’s high mount That’s it [Music] Great fireworks for that Oh yeah Hell of a performance by both fighters And such great seats right here on the front Greg Cowboy we do have some great seats Excellent match Excellent match Ladies and gentlemen let’s give it up for both fighters What an amazing match Let’s hear it y’all Ladies and gentlemen yes we have a winner by TKO out of the red corner Nick Taylor [Music] For those watching live on YouTube uh give us in the chat if you how the feed looks
