Absolutely epic hole. That is swimming. Hello. Yeah. Break 50. Let’s go. No. We’re in trouble. Serious trouble. Welcome back to episode two of the course record challenge. In episode one, we started from 100 yards trying to break the course record. Today we have moved back to 110 yards. We are here at Centurion Club and we are going to see if we can break the course record which is 64 and 8 under par. Live golf was held here and Cam Smith did shoot that tying course record score of eight under par. So let’s get out there and let’s get started. Starting on the first hole at Centurion Club from 110 yd. Hole one down here at Centurion Club. It is a par five, but we are playing our first shot from 110 yards. Trying to break the course record 64. Get this on the green. Two putts for an eagle would be a great way to start. Oh, that’s a really nice strike. Be the club. Oh, came up just short. Really nice strike. Looked good. Two putts from there. Eagle. Really good wedge shot. If I had just carried it another yard, would have been perfect. But pretty happy with this slippery little downhill left to right putt. This would be for albatross. But to be honest, I’ll take two putts for the eagle to open up. We’ve got to shoot 64 today, guys. That’s eight under par. Cany better today. Go, go, go, go. Turn, turn. Okay, guys. Tap in eagle to start the round. Two under after one hole. We’re definitely taking that beauty. On the par 3es, we play them from the shortest distance. So, this is 135 yards. We’ve got pin really tucked left. This is going to be difficult. I can either go middle of the green and play it safe or I can try and take on the pin. Okay, that is pretty safe. Just right at the hole. Yeah, middle of the green. It will be a difficult putt, but we’re putting so that’s all that matters. Left myself with a difficult putt. Just came up a fraction short. Got to go up this ridge little bit right to left. We just need to make pars on the par threes and just not drop any shots. Sit down. Sit down. Settle. Whoa. I mean, that’s a big misread there. I really thought that was going to come in from the right. Yes. Clutch. Okay, we’re on. We’re still two under through two holes. If you haven’t seen episode one, make sure you check it out. We filmed down at Saon Sands for that first episode of trying to break the course record, but 110 yards. Just a solid 54. All right, just right of it. Good strike. Go shot. Okay. Yeah, we’re putting really good wed shot, but a brutal putt right to left up the hill, guys. But we are putting for eagle remember on this par 4 starting from 110 yards. Oh, great effort. That was a pretty good effort. I’m not going to lie. A little bit little bit harder would have done it. But that is a birdie birdie to get through three under through three holes. We are on track for this course record. We are on the par five. Fourth hole, 110 yards, first shot. So, anything on the green gives us an eagle putt. If we make a two, that would be an albatross, which would be nice. Let’s see how low we could go. Okay, just left of it. Good strike. We are putting just on the back edge. Left myself a tricky putt downhill, right to left. These greens are looking beautiful at Centurion today. This was where they hosted the first ever live event and the second UK event. Let’s see if we can make this for albatross. Go, go, go, go. Get in. Oh, what a pop. Oh, that looked so good. Excellent effort. That looks so good. Wow. Cannot complain with a tap in eagle to go five under through four holes. How low do you guys think we are going today? Remember guys, if we break the course record today, next time we move back 10 yards, the whole point of this series is to find out at what distance I would have to start to compete out on tour. Onto the par three, fifth hole. We have 135 yards. Playing a bit into breeze. I’m going to try and hit a little knockdown nine iron. Remember, we are playing the par threes from the shortest tea we can. Oh, sit down. Be good. Be good. Sean, hello player. Hello. We are moving, boy. Beautiful. Let’s go. This putt is looking pretty straight to me. Maybe maybe just right half, but this is a good look for a real birdie. A real birdie. I mean, we’re playing it off the shortest tea, but every birdie counts. Yeah, boy. Yeah, boy. Great job. Well, we’re putting better than the last time. Oh my god. Love that. Okay, what’s that set us up for? Six under through I think so. Five. I think we’re 600 through five. Break 50. Break. Yeah, break 50. Let’s go. Another par five. We are starting from just 110 yards away. We are currently six under through five holes. Oh, go. Oh. Oh, wow. I got a bit under it. I wasn’t sure it was going to make it, but we’re looking good now. Uphill for the albatross on this par five. Let us know in the comments below at what distance do you think I need to play from to play on tour? That’s the whole purpose of this series. This to go to minus 8. Sit down. Sit down. Sit. Oh, Mike. Okay, that’s about 4 and 1/2 ft by. Good looking putt. had the line. Oh, don’t do that. Oh, it was a good putt, too. Oh, dear. Lucky. Okay. Well, never thought I’d be disappointed with a uh birdie on a par five, but there we are. All right. Sloppy three putt on the last. Disappointed with that, but we have got again 110 yards starting into this par four. Beautiful looking hole. Go a bit. Okay. Yeah, good shot. Yeah, not bad. Came up a bit short there, but we do have this for eagle. Difficult putt up and over this slope then down to the hole. Just want to two putt this. Sit down. Sit down. Fast. Sit down. Okay. Not the best. Not bad. We do not want backto back three putts. Come on. We got to make these. Oh, it’s a real good roll, too. Just didn’t break. Okay, that’s a par. Very disappointing par. 110 yards. Beautiful looking par for. They have tucked some of these flags away, but we’re going to see if we can get at this one. Oh, that’s beautiful. Be the club. Be the club. Go J. Oh, that’s just lovely. 15 ft. A little bit right to left. I’m thinking in this. Go. Go. Hasn’t hit it. Has not hit it. I was scared from the last two three putts, guys. Didn’t want to race it by. That’s a three. It’s a birdie. We’re eight under. Eight under par through eight holes. We are on the course record currently. Let’s see how low we can go out here today. It’d be nice if we could maybe potentially even break 50. Oh, really nice strike. Just right at the hole. He loves it. Ah, a little bit short. Okay, on the edge. Not too bad. Not disastrous. God, I struck that well. So, this is another par five. This ninth hole, guys. So, we actually have this for the albatross. I came up a little bit short, a little bit right. Got about 30 feet maybe a little bit right to left pretty severely uphill. That’s pretty good. Yeah, great effort. Yeah, that’s not bad. Couple feet past the hole. That for the eagle to get us to 10 under. Yes. Yeah. 10 under. That gets us to 10 under par. Currently two better than the course record. Let’s see how low we can go. Let’s get under 50 if we can today. On the 10th hole, beautiful par4 here. 110 yards. Hitting these wedges nicely. Just need a solid one. Oh, sit. I could get away with that. Oh, okay. Not the best strike. Little bit thin, but uh hopefully we’re putting hopefully. I seriously got away with that wedge shot, guys. Pin is on the back here. I must have skipped it up the front of the green. It was a little bit thin and definitely got away with it. But we’ve got this for the two. This would take us to 12 under. Okay. Okay. Not the best read. Didn’t break as much as we thought, but we are in for the three. 11 under 11 under. Par three, 11th hole here. Playing it off the shortest te. It’s still 150. Difficult hole this. Very breezy downwind though. We’ve got flag on the back right. Just going to try and feed a smooth nine iron in. It takes par on this hole. It’s not playing easy. Oh, if it’s the club. Be the club. Be the club. Sit down. That’s not bad. Looks like we’ve given ourselves 15T for the birdie. Pretty nice shot in here. Just ran through the green downhill about 18 ft. That is so bad. That is so bad. I’m I’m not your best. Oh, that’s just embarrassing. Okay, it’s a par. It’s a par. Pretty terrible birdie attempt, but it’s a par. Absolutely epic hole. 110 yards. Very difficult. Like genuinely, this is where you could make a bogey. Like even starting from 110 yards, have to carry it over water. Pin is tucked way on the left side of the green. Bunker long, water short, wind off the left, but ball above my feet. Let’s just hit a solid shot and try and get it close. Oh, be good. Oh my god. Smashed it. Ah no. Oh my god. I thought that was so good. Options are rehit or drop and hit 70 yard shot over water. I’m choosing to re hit. I do not fancy a 70 yard shot off a down slope hitting overwater to a green with no green to work with. So let’s just try and find the green. We are hitting our third shot from here. So we are really risking a bogey. That needs to go. That needs to go. That is swimming. Oh, by a yard twice. By a yard. Oh no. Back to the bag. Back to the bag. Oh, just what the video needed. Couldn’t have been 11 under and happy. This hole is killing me. This hole’s actually killing me. I thought we were safe for the course record. Playing five from 100 yards. This is not going well. That should be enough. Should be enough. Yeah. Middle of the green. Finally safe, team. Come on. Over the water. Wow. Three attempts. Terrible. Oh no. Jesus Christ. At least it’s pretty. I didn’t think I was going to have a putt for a double bogey today filming this series, but that’s what we’ve got. Wish I’d just stuck my first one here, but we’ve got 20 foot right to left down the hill. I thought we were safe with the course record today, but apparently not. That is so short. It’s a joke. No, no way. I just saw her go jump in that lake. That might be an eight. Jesus. Right for an eight. Oh, Mike. Tutt. An eight. I made an eight. Made an eight. An eight from 110 yards. Oh, guys, we’re in trouble. Serious trouble. It’s not It’s not what we wanted. We are We have slipped back to seven. Oh my god. To seven. And we have to get to eight. And that was just some terrible terrible terrible shots. Yeah, good content. Hope you guys are enjoying my absolute pain and misery. Um, not much to say about this shot that I haven’t said about every other shot. 110 yd 54° wearing this club out. Come back. Come back. Come back. I think it is. Come back. Oh boy. Yeah. Good job. Oh yeah. Okay, we’re back. We’re back. Okay, we’re back, boy. Just needed two in the water to get back. Just needed a few practice shots into the water, but we are back. This is a par five. So, this would be for the albatross, which would take us back to 10 under. That’s what we need. That is so bad. Come on. I’m actually blaming you for such a bad putt there. Still got an eagle. Still got an eagle. Takes us back to minus 9. Little bit disheartened, but we’re going to keep going. We’re going to see what we can do on this par three. 135 yards. Again, uphill, but slightly downwind. Stay there. Bit left. Okay, good strike. About 5 yards left. 20 ft. Relatively straight. Left myself a good chance. See if we can actually make another birdie on a par three. Ah, that’s just not great. That’s really not great. Lucky. Tell you what, I nearly missed. Nearly missed. Okay, it’s a three. Still at nine. Stay at minus 9. Yet another par five. We are currently sitting nine under par. So we are currently safe. Had a few issues though. But let’s see if we can get on in one onto this par five. Give ourselves another look for albatross. Is this like the fifth par five we’ve played? Yeah. I’ve never played a course with so many par fives. Mental. It’s got a lot of par fives this golf course. Makes ourh course record a bit easier. It really does. It really helps out when you’re teeing off from 110 on a par five. Oh, is that going to be my first chip of the day? No. No, we’re safe. Got an albatross putt. Just a few yards left for the albatross on this par five to get up and down from 110. That is again not even close to being online. Wait, the greens have got on us recently. Oh wow. Eagle. It’s a three. It’s a three. And that’s an eagle on this par five, which takes me back to 11 under. We are looking good. Par 4 again. 110 yards. We are back to 11 under. So a little bit into breeze this one. Pins at the back. Go. Bit towy. Okay, that’s going to be a steep putt up that slope. All right, straight back up the hill. This for the eagle, but I’ll take two putts right now for the birdie. Sit, sit, sit. Oh, he’s done what I did. Oh, I’ve done exactly the same as you. The same part. Oh. Ah. It’s a par, guys. It’s a par. It’s all right. You’re 11 under. I think you’re doing all right. Yeah, we’re at 11. As long as there’s no more wedge shots over water, hopefully we’re going to be okay. So, guys, it’s only 100 yards from the shortest Tox. So, I don’t know if we were supposed to move back a te, but nah, keep it consistent. We’ll play it from here. Beautiful little 17th hole. This nice little 100yard wedge shot. Pin tucked back left. Okay, it was a good strike and it’s safe. Not the best, but about 40 feet up the hill, right to left. this for the birdie. Okay, that’s pretty good. Pretty good effort. Yeah, nice job. That’s pretty good. Nice. We’re in. That’s a bar. Good pop. There is water on the 18th, by the way. There is water on the 18th. So, this is not all said and done, guys. I would be looking real good if it wasn’t for that eight, which realistically probably set me five shots back. So, we could have broken 50 today. 18th hole. Final shot is over water. Not what we wanted to see. Bunker’s short. Just need something solid and on the green to finish this challenge off. That is safe. That is very safe and very left. I will take that all day long. All right, guys. We got this for another eagle. No, albatross. Sorry. This for the albatross. This would secure the challenge, meaning that next time we move back to 120. Go in. Go. We’re lucky. I really thought that was in. I’m not going to lie. Ran that by 5 ft back up the hill. No, it was a good putt, too. Misread it. I’m on the rich three putt train, guys. That’s not how we wanted to finish this. But that is still a birdie on this final hole, meaning my total score is 12 under par for this challenge. Thank you guys very much for watching. We have completed it from 110 yards, but next time we’ll be moving back another 10 yards and we will move back another 10 yards for every single time we break the course record. So, let us know down in the comments at what point do you think I will fail? At what yardage do you think we will stop being able to complete this challenge? Next is episode 3 from 120 yards. Make sure you hit that like button, make sure you subscribe, and we will see you next time.
