Welcome to the 2025 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by Geico. And nothing puts the hot in hot Atlanta like a bunch of celebs in 90 plus attempts. We are live from Allstar Weekend in Atlanta from Truis Park. But let’s see the ceremony of first pitches. We got Nikki Cass and he throws a strike to Globy. Really nice. That’s it. Blooper back there to cover ground in case anything was a miss but didn’t need him. So he is better known if you don’t know who Nicki C is. He is better known as coach. That ball’s belted. It’s gone. And the coach yard. There you go. Come on now. Nikki Cass getting the scoring started for the National League in the bottom of the first. We are now at a one- nothing game. Oh, that one’s gets through the gap. Here we go. Oh, is he going for a double? Takes on his horse. Oh my gosh. He turns on the wheel. Is he going for the little league home run? Talking Jacob. Cap one bank guy. I’m just pulling up the comps. Not the first time I’ve heard it. Ryan Dempster, that is your twin. That’s my doppelganger. And right now the NL with a 4 nothing lead in the top of the second. Probably not. Back back. How about that? Oh, CeCe, he caught slam. Look at him. Look, look, look. That’s a real trot, too. It is. We were saying last year he came up to me said I’m mad I didn’t have as good a game and I knew he wanted to have a big game in that grand sl of celebrity soft we are back in it baby to0 just tying the game up on one swing uhoh [Applause] comes right by the set it was looking for up I know heads up I was ready I got you guys you guys I have my gloves ready I’m ready to go check her Oh, look at that. [Applause] Oh, explain it. Wow. Watch it. He cleared it, but but some nice fielding. All right, whatever. By the way, I love the back of his jersey. Doesn’t say you got Duski. It says could have CeCe trying to get his revenge on Nikki Caps. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Absolutely crushed. Someone might clear the major league fence. Wow. That away CC. That’s more like it. He said he didn’t want to run the bases. He wanted to jog them slowly. He tattooed that ball. Jerry Lorenzo now at that. Here we go. He’s the son of former MLB player and manager. Jerry Man. [Applause] Great. I’m getting shelled. Yes, you are, Nick. Nikki Cass is getting shelled. They’re going to send him. Here comes the throw to home. We got a bang bang play. Standing up. The ale just hammering it right there. Nikki Cass is going to have to make up for that last inning. Actually, the last couple innings with the bat [Applause] a little bit out of reach. And we mentioned being a spark plug. They’re going to send him all the way home. Tio with the throw. Off the mark and not in time. Off the mark and off the field. That ball went over the deck circle. Probably no shot to get Nikki Cass. Lucky he didn’t blow out a hamstring right there. [Applause] Oh, the ball’s getting away. Away again. The AL’s getting scrambly with their defense. It’s costing him. Chris Tucker is making his way around the bases looking to go all the way home. And it’s back to back Nikki Cass and Chris Tucker. Elio Carion. I don’t know if you can hear that jingling and jangling. That’s Edio’s chain chain. Plural. Plural. They don’t jangle like that if it’s just one dump. Your twin rakes D. Yeah. I mean, honestly, it’s probably confusing for people because they’re like, “Is that the Capital One Bank guy or is that Demp the way he’s swinging the bat right now?” That plates two right there. That makes the score AL1 the NL9. Let’s welcome in Capital One Bank guy. How we doing out there? You having a good time? Yeah, we’re Oh, man. This is so fun. Are you kidding me? Hey, Sierra and I were just talking. You got some athletic prowess. Did you play any sports in college or high school or professional? Volleyball in college. Yep. I called it. Yep. And then I just I love sports, you know. I just uh surf, snowboard, pickle ball now, you know, getting older. And now here I am at right field. Uh but we’re doing all right. It was fun. Oh, he’s going that to0. We’ve seen your home. Hey, home home. Gone. Drewuski no stranger to celebrity games. Druski having a tough time finding home plate like he’s had a few Bruskies. Nikki Cass roped down in the corner. That ball’s going to bounce around. Maria Taylor coming around to score easily. Safe. Safe. Jake with a line drive up the middle to Tio. Tio’s looking to come up home. Not going to be in time. We have a tie ball game. Sierra 12 to 12. More runs. the NL with the go ahead. The pitching change now pitching change is backfiring bringing in CC Sabathy. You figure that would close the door but unfortunately it’s opened the floodgates and all of a sudden bloopers start falling. Couple hard hit balls. Never had a chance to warm up another one. It’s now 1512 and Drewus. Are you ready to take a little load off? Yeah, man. I’ve been taking a lot of water breaks. They’ve been trying to get me off. Yep. Uh I’ve been on the field, man. I’m struggling right now. I ain’t I tried to pitch in the last inning right there. I thought I was going to bring us home. They ended up bringing CC Sabathia to sub me out. Oh man, dude that good on you. Your homies with Justin Bieber, you’re up next. Clearly don’t get Let’s see some magic. Duski, come on. We need some magic. Capital One Bank guy now on the mountain. Duski keeping the inning alive. Tying run on second base right now. CeCe Sebastia at the plates. Oh my goodness. All the way to Alpharetta. That ball was absolutely tattooed. The first ballot hall of famer gives the AL the one-run lead. AL up with a two-run lead now. Yeah. And you’d like to think that they have the advantage in the American League with CC Sabathy on the hill, but this is soft slow pitch softball and anything can happen. And that’s always key getting the first out of the inning for CC Prince Royce. Uh he might be the prince of Bachata, but I don’t know that he’s had the game that he was hoping for today. You got to swing them back. Yeah. CeCe Sabathia. No career saves. He’s looking for his first right here. It could all come down to the bat of young Miko. The comebacker. That is it. CeCe Seabathia. Will he mention this in his Hall of Fame speech? He got the call to the bullpen. It didn’t start out so great, but it finished just like how he dreamt it up. Two home runs and the save on the day. And if I was a betting man, Sierra, I would say we might have just looked at an MVP performance out of the MLB Hall of Famer, CC Sabathia. Absolutely no surprise that CC Sabathia is your 2025 All-Star celebrity softball game most valuable player for Ryan Dempster. This is Sierra Santos saying good night from Atlanta.
