a ball dropped according to the Rules of Golf cannot roll onto the green if the relief area is not on the green, and you must drop it in the designated relief area, not outside of it. A dropped ball must first make initial contact with the ground within the relief area. If it lands inside the relief area and rolls out, or lands outside the relief area and rolls in, you must drop it again.
