  1. I sometimes use the Kirkland balls in club matches when you take on more do or die shots and do not worry about losing or damaging a cheap ball. I have found them to always be a bit more spinny than Pro v1's but they roll well on putts and chip fine but do tend to cut and scuff slightly more than a premium ball but for the price and especially for higher handicap golfers they are a very real option that should be looked at.

  2. Joe I have a Kirkland driver and also found the spin away too high.
I changed the shaft to a 75 gram shaft to lower the flight, plus added 10 gram of lead tape . Also i always tip my shafts 1" to 44.5", set the swing weight to D4.
This pull the spin back to 2500 rpm. I may be that Kirkland chased MOI a little too much. My ball is a Pro V1 or a TP5 ( summer ) Tru-feel ( Autumn, Spring) Anything Winter..
Kirkland balls were always spiny, If i find one i give them to the club senior guys or ladies for slower swing speed.

  3. The thing with a high launching ball is that you can flight it down, so providing it stops well enough on the greens it's a winner, what's more your not getting absolutely fleeced on price, which is exactly what Titleist do to their customers on their balls and clubs.

  4. Just goes to show, it's more the ball than the club. I've never been a fan of the Kirkland ball personally.

  5. i have a shag-bag full of Kirkland Signature balls for short game practice. inexpensive way to fill up the practice bag with 3-piece balls. they don't play as well from my driver and fairway woods though.

  6. Ah ha! I was half way through the vid and was thinking I wonder if he switched balls 😊

  7. You should do the Kirkland wedges Vs something like a vokey. Great content mate

  8. Curious as to what happens if you replace the shaft in the kirkland with the same one you had in the Titilest . (if you can reshaft a kirkland driver)

  9. Kirkland ball tends to perform poorly on robot tests, very surprised to see it do ok with the Titleist.

  10. Be interesting to see a “cost per yard” and “cost per 1000rpm spin” for the various combinations.

  11. As a new golfer I’ve found Kirkland balls to have a great sound and and feel as I send them pinballing through the woods

  12. Good content really didn’t know about the spin with Kirkland ball with the driver. Will not use them now. Have been using the titelist velocity balls and your soft priced at £30 a dozen can u do a video with the spin on the driver with them balls against the pro v1

  13. Big win of titleist kit. A driver that goes with any ball and a ball that goes with any driver!

  14. Thanks Joe, I’ve been waiting for someone to do this comparison using different balls. 👍
