The Angels take the field on this spectacular Sunday afternoon here at the Big A. And there’s Kanowitz. Yeah, I look for him this to be be aggressive and using his two and four seam fast. My go-to is for him to have a solid game. Tman swings and misses by three. That’s a good combination that that sinker had some movement to it after the change up. Here’s Sosa red hot as Sosa slashes this one to right field. That is now a sevengame hit streak going for Lenin Sosa. Here’s Luis Robert Jr. Two on, one out, first inning. Socks trying to grab an early lead. Robert Jr. That one goes off the mound into center field. Sosa, he’ll be waved in. And the Socks jumping on Kahanowitz in this first inning, taking a one- nothing lead. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don’t make. There were a lot of teams kicking the tires on Mr. Robert Jr., but he’s starting to show signs of life. Coulson Montgomery trying to keep things going. Put the pressure on the Halos here to start this ball game. Ben and Tendy at second, Robert at first. One- nothing Socks. Opening inning. The pitch, a swing, and a fly ball out in the deep right. And that is a It’s off the wall or no, it’s a home run. It’s a home run for Montgomery. That ball landed on the warning track, but it got over the yellow line. That’s an 8 foot high wall. Three-run blast, and it’s four nothing. Here’s the next pitch. And that’s lined into left field and caught by Taylor Ward. Kind of holding his ground there. It came right to him. It was hit sharply. The inning is over. On the mound for the White Socks, Shawn Burke. This will be his 22nd game. 18 starts. 105 and two/3 innings pitched. that erra 4.17. He pops it up shallow center. Robert will take it for out number one. Here’s the future first ballot hall of famer Mike Trouty. Threetime MVP 11time allstar. Swings and misses for strike three. That’s a shut down first for Burke. It’s 4 nothing White Socks after an inning. Base hit right field. Baldwin continues to hit well at the plate. That is 106 mph off the bat. Haven’t seen Chase Maid in this series. Rohos chops it at third. Bipo gets it to Neto who turns it over to first and that’s a double play. Here’s the pitch. That’s grounded on the left side. Stopped there by Neto. His throw right on the money. And that is a quick inning right there. Minimal number of pitches in the inning. Only six. That’ll bring up Reno. Four for four in the series. One is hit hard and off the glove of Montgomery as Reno is able to reach base. First time for the Angels today. That should be a hit. Runner on with two outs for Travis Darno. The pitch swing and a miss. Strike three. Guess what? A high fast ball. There we go. He’s listening. Sean Burke with a four nothing lead through two. That’ll bring up the birthday boy. Robert turned 28 today and he socks a base hit into center. Played on a bounce by Teodosio. Sosa stops at second. Robert’s two for two. Montgomery owns a three-run homer in this game and he’ll bat with two aboard again. Leading Major League Baseball in RBI since the breaks. Hits this one into the gap in left center. He’s going to drive it another Sosa. He will score. Five nothing Socks on top. Fourth run driven in today by Kulsa Montgomery. How about two at bats, four runs batted in and the hit train continues for the White Socks. First and third for Edo bounced out his first time. He bounces this one as well as Moore grabs it. flips with the glove and Neto first for a double play. Oh, that’s about as good as you could turn to. That was a really nice play by Neto, too. Terrific inning ending double play. White Sox offensively to hit the ball well. You need that spark right now. Christian Moore and a nice play to end the top of the third. There’s ball four works pretty good. That was a pretty good pitch, too. Talked about it on the open. He’s been on a nice three-game heater. Throwing the ball really well. Looks really sharp so far heading here into the third inning. Swinging a miss. Strike three. Third punch out for Shawn Burke. Nasty slider. 87 mph. Two outs. Will bring up Shaw. Has a nice hit the other way for Shawell. That is so base. Christian Moore. Shawell thought about second, but goes back to first. Doesn’t want to risk it. Down five with two outs. But still, that’s what you want to do. You want to put a pressure on an outfielder to make him make a play and get it in quickly. Here’s the big bat. Mike Trout got runners on at the corners with two out in this third inning. That was kind of the book on him to try to get him on high fast ball. Swing and a miss on a high heater. You were saying and Burke has struck him out twice. This time with two on. 456 in this Angels lineup to start this bottom of the fourth inning. White Socks a five nothing lead trying to complete the three-game sweep over the Angels. Burke turns, kicks, and delivers. Swing and a miss. He struck him out. No cut down on the swing right there with two strikes. One-two pitch. Swing and a miss. Strike three. Boy, you were on it. That fast ball has been very effective. Six strikeouts for Burke. Three straight strikeouts for Burke. And there’s a swing and a chop to the second baseman. Gloved by Josh Rojos. Short toss to Sosa. Better now. Christian Moore. He drew a walk his first time up. Moore drives one in the air out into left center. Robert moving. He’ll slide and he made the catch. Backhanded pick. Somehow it didn’t hit the grass. Well, that is an amazing backhand grab. What a play by Luis Robert. Yeah, that’s that coverage we say about how good of an all-around player he is. The two called strike three. Painted an outside corner fast ball. Seven strikeouts for Burke. Kyle Teal bats here. He is 0 for two today. Carol’s at first, one out. Bouncing ball. Neto fields with a backhand. Gets it to second. More. a little late to get over with the infield pulled around. So Teal’s able to reach first on a fieldielder’s choice. I say if they were able to turn that one, that would have been unreal. Meadow was kind of the coverage man at second base. Got pulled out of there to go field the ball and took more a while to get over. Two two coming and he hooks a line drive base hit to right. Long run over by Adele to the corner. Justin Gersel is going to stop Kyle Teal. A double here for Brooks Baldwin and the Socks threatening with two outs in the sixth inning. So Kohanowitz needs an out here to wrap up this inning and the pitch. That’s a ball that is hit on the first face side. Plenty of time to get Rojas. The inning is over. Zack Neto going to be leading off here in the six to try to turn this thing around with a good swing. Get the offense going in the right direction here. Here’s Neto with a fly ball to left center field. We’ll see if this one carries. Roberts back for it at the wall and it’s gone into the California spectacular. Zack Neto gets the Angels on the board and like we were talking about he got a pitch that he could do the damage and got the job done in the sixth inning especially Burke has now allowed 11 runs in just nine innings of work. A live drive base hit to left that goes all the way to the wall. Showell will get to third base and be held. Mike Trout has a double. Here come the Angels in the sixth against Shawn Burr. The Angels are trying to get back in this ball game. The next batter will be Taylor Ward. A line drive to left. That’s some contact for a base hit. Shawell scores. Trout goes to third base. Taylor Ward drives in a run. And now the Angels down three of the tying run come to the plate. The manager is out. Burke will hand him the ball. Mike Vassel. His job right now. A little bit of damage control. One ball, one strike. And now two balls in the strike. The ball does get away. So there’s the wild pitch to score the run. Trap comes in and it’s 5-3. You got yourself a ball game right now. Ward will advance to third with two down. That’ll bring up Travis Darno, the catcher. The pitch swinging a hard ground ball picked up by Baldwin at third. He’s got lots of time and he lobbs to Sosa and that’s that. Angels threatening in the seventh after scoring three in the sixth. And men on the corners with nobody out. A couple of CNI ground balls. 16th homer of the year for Neto in his last at bat. He’s the go-ahead run at the plate now. That ball out toward the gap left center field that gets down. It bounces in. It goes to the wall. Moore scores. Here comes Carro. The tying run on his way. Game tied. Zack Neto. A two-run double. First and third. One out. Five tie. Seventh inning. Bassel to Taylor Ward. Got him swinging. Out number two. That’s a big one. They’ll bring up Joe Adele. Trout runs. Check. Swing. He went. Inning over. Adele out on strikes. Carol was going to fake the second and check on third, but that is all moot. Here’s Kennley Jansen trying to keep it tied. Kennley’s been so so good this season for the Halos. That leading runs in scoring position. There’s hope that he can score on just a base hit. Len Sosa, one of the hottest hitters White Socks have. One-two pitch and this is lifted in the air. Not very deep at all in left center field. Neto is going back coming in as Ward. The two kind of trip over each other, but Neto holds on to the baseball and that is how the inning will end. Shawell bats with one out, nobody on. Shotwell lines one to right. He has a base hit. Tman goes to get it. Shotwell’s thinking about two. On his way, here comes the throw. He has a double. Oh, he’s so good. Missed the contact. Another double. His 21st double. So, Dout’s going to get the free pass. Well, the batter will be Taylor Ward who’s had an RBI single in four times up. He’s had a quiet series though. And there’s a drive to left and way back. It’s been intending near the wall. It is gone. Say good night to the White Socks. Taylor Ward drives out a threerun rocket and the cutback is complete. What about your careerhigh 26 bomb? A walk-off bomb. Taylor Ward. Wardy boy goes yard. His third career walk-off home run. His first since June of 2022. It’s the splash from Logan O’H. But the Angels on his back today.

  1. It's been 4 hr since the Brewers game ended and still nothing from mlb kinda weird that mlb showing no respect for the team with the best record in baseball

  2. The excitement from first baseman N. Schanuel is digging for second base to help the team win. The Angels need a third base man that can hit with a little power.

  3. After the top of the 6 inning I had to attend tournament just to find out we lost 8-5 🙈😶‍🌫️

  4. Thank you Ward and Montgomery for delivering on my Pick 6 bets. Turned $25 into $127 after bonuses and extra contest 😎🤩

  5. Someone please explain to me why they sent Kachanowicz down for those 2 starts? Cuz it doesn't seem to have done a damn thing. The poor guys doesn't look like he's got an ounce confidence up there.

  6. The Sox loss goes to the pitching coach. You keep pulling your starters in innings 4-5 and they never reach the muscle memory to go further. Burke petered out after 5.

  7. The positive about the white Sox they won the series but Will Venable needs to read his pitchers better so they dont
lose another game like this one. After Neto homerun it was time to take Burke out.

  8. That 1st inning home run smacking the right fielder in the head has got to be humiliating. 😂😂😂
