Made this quick video before work this AM. I’m working on getting a more shallow delivery and avoiding OTT. Any tips on how to get the club just a little more shallow on downswing?

Keep in mind that while it looks nice to be shallow you need the matching face closure or to shift the swing direction and hit cuts.

Just getting shallow without also pairing it with closure is usually a recipe for just hitting high fades that don’t go anywhere.

So make sure you’re matching it up correctly.

That looks pretty good. I’m not sure you need to go any shallower unless you’re still not hitting it well.

But to answer the question, you could try pausing at the top for a quarter second longer and letting gravity start the club down toward the ground before you start your turn.

But why are you trying to shallow? What exactly do you think more shallow would achieve?

Shallowing is the pet rock of the current golf world.
