  1. This happened to us! We were -18 under and we didn’t even finish in 3rd place. Another time we finished -22 under and finished 2nd. It’s so frustrating playing in tournaments cause everyone cheats!!!

  2. I see these videos all the time now, and i dont understand where the integrity went.

I play in a scramble about 3 times a year for the last 10 year. Lowest winning score ive ever seen was -13. So yall need to find new groups or new scrambles. I can confidently say nobody cheats in our scambles to win.

Im sure there is some "cheating" by bad bad teams, but thats just to not post a +7 with 4 people. The winners, theyre always legit.

  3. They have become a joke. It is best to just play for fun. Enjoy it. You won't beat the cheating, shameless people.

  4. last scramble I got in, one of the guys drove the green on a par 4… we all missed the eagle putt… we all missed the birdie putt… the guys on the team that were 'regulars' at the course said "we would have made that if we'd tried harder" and took the birdie….. I never played in another one….

  5. Every single scramble tournament should have a spotter with every 4 some to keep score. There are way to many cheaters out there.

  6. best scramble tournament format i have been a part of has two foursomes playing together and they keep each others scores. Ball in hole, 3 hole playoff for a tie. Maybe adds an extra 30 minutes to the day.

  7. won the long drive contest last scramble, was like $45. dude said no gd way you out drove me. he wanted to bet $100. $300 later he was still pissed.

  8. Just played in one of these, winning score 53 from the whites. Not unheard of but I didn't see Bryson at the dinner after.

  9. I used to say exactly the same thing. "The math doesn't add up!" "The talent of anyone in that group sure as heck doesn't add up!". Then I found out about these weird scoring systems that no one can explain properly, like Peoria, Callaway, Stableford, or some variation. I gave up on scrambles years ago. It has to be one heck of an out of reach private/expensive course that I could never play on my own for me to ever participate in another one.
