The Cleveland Browns head into their final fan-attended practice of their 2025 training camp with many of the same questions as they had heading into it. QB Shedeur Sanders has been the talk of camp and has embraced his role and pressure well. QB Joe Flacco took the first assignment of “QB1” when QB Kenny Pickett was injured, while QB Dillon Gabriel, as a third-round pick, has the most investment from the team.
The Browns offense has looked sluggish at times so far in camp. Some may have to do with the QB competition, but DE Myles Garrett and the defense also play a role. Sorry Herm. The Browns are a contender. The defense alone makes them that. The offensive line makes them that. New coaches, all around. The receiving corp, is under rated. This years approach has a momentum not seen last year. (I knew they were in trouble last years from OTAs on. This team will be a contender from day one.

Trade or cut Shedeur to a team that knows talent because he shouldn't be fourth on the depth chart. Shedeur doesn't get any opportunities with the first team.

I just wish these analysts would just say what it is! Shadors the answer Gabriel isn't and let that be it! The NFL has done this to themselves. They knew shoulders should have went the first round and him being drafted as a fifth round but playing like a first rounder. They don't want egg on their face! And for those of you who say he was a fifth round talent, that's BULL .. he led his confidence in yards thrown and touchdowns. He had less than 13 interceptions. He was the Johnny Unitas player of the year which is give in to the best college quarterback, he also helped. Travis Hunter secure the Heisman trophy because he did play offense and do you think he threw the ball to himself? Colorado also had the most wide receivers taken in the draft. Who do you think was responsible for making that happen? So Cleveland do right by the kid or just trade him!

Sanders gets no/zero reps with the one's which suggests to me that that Cleveland, has no intention or interest in giving him a legitimate shot at starting. Here's the kicker how you know that the argument about QB talent is bogus since Picket, has been traded to 3 teams in 3 years. Cleveland isn't going to play Sanders.

How can you be the best QB on the team when you can't articulate the plays in the huddle. He is still learning the NFL jargon that he didn't need to know in college. This is a steep learning curve for someone who needs to call the alignments for the offensive line, wide receivers, and running backs. He needs to know exactly what each is supposed to do. Not only that, Shedeur has to be able to change the play at the line of scrimmage if what he sees will not work with the play that is called in from the sidelines. Most of you Shedeur lovers are overlooking this extremely important fact. Hs accuracy is phenomenal but you got to know the plays
