Why was there a scuba diver at a golf course? Here’s what happened. During the second round of the 2015 World Golf Championship, Rory Mroy pulled out a threeiron for his second shot. He swung and completely missed. The ball splashed into the water. Frustrated, Rory did what most of us only dream of doing. He chucked his three iron straight into the lake. Fast forward to the next day. A scuba diver shows up at the course, not to search for golf balls, but to recover Rory’s club. Minutes later, the diver finds the club at the bottom of the lake. Who sent the diver, and what happens next? None other than Donald Trump, the owner of the golf course at the time. Trump personally walks up to Rory during practice and hands him back his three iron.
