It just looks almost like a movie set because 
of the way it’s like carved out of the mountain. Dunas Golf Course didn’t just appear on the 
map, it exploded onto it. And now golfers across Europe are calling this the best there is. 
But what makes it different? What makes it Dunas? Some courses are built, others are unearthed. At 
Dunas, it feels like the land was always meant for golf. Wild, windswept, untouched. A golf course 
that rewards imagination, punishes hesitation, and demands your full attention from the very 
first tea. But what really makes Dunas so special? That’s what we’re here to explore. 
This golf course could be 100 years old, and you go, “Oh, really? Yeah, I can see that.” 
Where actually it’s one and a half. Yeah. I mean, you can tell like the the the David 
Mclay Kidd and his Scottish roots and the way the bunkers are done, but I mean, the 
whole area like the the the lifestyle, the beach restaurants, the Atlantic is 
just there. Um, these dunes amazing. Sort of feels like Yeah. very very sort of 
prestige kind of a destination, isn’t it? But here’s the thing. While Dunas has long been 
hailed as one of Europe’s best golf courses, definitely the most beautiful course that I have 
ever played, just nearby lies to the newer course that took us on an adventure in our last episode. 
But knowing what’s close by makes you appreciate Dunas all the more. Its unique challenges and 
character that have earned it such a reputation. And what is going to be spectacular is our 
match continues. See what we can do here. Yeah, lost yesterday. That’s got to be 
disappointing. You don’t want to go. It stings. It stings

back of mine of just of what that I’ve got to then, you know, hit the shot.

That was looking good for a long time. It was looking It was looking very nice.

up, Simon. You can have that. I remember when I first arrived at Dunas, 
stepping onto those windswept dunes, feeling the sea breeze mix with the scent of 
pine. Right away, you knew this isn’t just any golf course. There was this one moment standing on 
the tea with the wind swirling. I had to decide to play it safe or go for it. If you’ve ever been in 
that space, then let me know in the comments. But Dunas feels like a book you can’t put down. 
Each hole a new chapter with its own twists, challenges, and surprises. You never quite know 
what the next page will bring, but you’re hooked, eager to see how the story unfolds.
Everything reflects um what we believe, which is the the true, it’s a bad word, but 
luxury is high quality space and silence. So apart from the golf like if I’m if I’m going 
to come and live here apart from the golf which is amazing what are the other activities that 
you are kind of including here like the beach is not far away what what does that feel like to 
be here in Kora where we stand now we are a mile from the beach uh and we have private access to 
the beach but we want to create a community where uh it’s not just for the holiday maker you 
can actually live here we’re going to have an art exhibition center. We’re going to have 
a private hospital on site. We’re going to have schools on site. Uh can direct connections to 
universities. Uh super fast internet access. Uh so and because we are just an hour from Lisbon, 
from Lisbon, you can fly anywhere in the world. So we just wanted to to to combine that with uh 
which is something that we learned after co is uh the importance of being outside.
This really feels as though it hasn’t been touched for thousands and thousands of years. 
Um there aren’t that many places left like this, especially an hour from a major capital city in 
Europe. to have this and to have a developer and a and a management team who is not going to take 
advantage of this beautiful nature and ruin it. Um, I have to say from the point of view of 
a visitor, we sincerely thank you for that. Thank you.
Looking back, Dunas wasn’t just a round of golf. It was a feeling, the kind that stays with 
you long after you’ve packed your clubs away. It challenged me, grounded me, and in a strange way, 
it reminded me why I fell in love with this game in the first place. It’s raw, it’s honest, and 
it doesn’t care who you are, Dunas just asks the same from everybody. Focus, respect, and a little 
humility. And while the question still lingers, is this the best golf course in Europe? I’m 
not sure it needs an answer because some places don’t have to prove themselves, 
they just exist, and you remember them.
