I don’t live too far from Pinetuck. Maybe I’ll check it out.

  2. BostonFishGolf

If Leo J Martin isn’t on here I’ll be disappointed

Maple Lane in Sterling Heights, MI and I can’t be convinced otherwise. Fairway, rough, and fringe are the same length. It’s in a well populated area so there is always a delay on #1 with bunch of carts lined up. If they think you have alcohol in your bag they will dig through it without any hesitation. And their rangers are thee biggest assholes in the world.

Last time I was there my buddy straight up told the ranger if you touch me or my golf bag I will knock your ass out.

3 mass courses is very appropriate. Those tracks are dogshit. Plenty more 9 hole ones in the area as well.

A little Harsh on Nashboro. Staff were great to us and they were selling $2 Miller Lites…

    Also the course was fine.

I grew up working at Leo J. Not only are the fairways shit, the greens are shit and the size of a postage stamp.

The sad part is the back nine has a fun design, it’s just shit

If Olde Liberty in Youngsville, NC isn’t on this list, it’s fraudulent.

I’d say Canyon Lake GC but recently discovered it closed down. Wonder why.

I want to see horrible layouts in great condition

Leo J Martin is truly an abomination. So strange considering the other local munis are in pretty good shape besides Ponka lol

“Worst course ever. Played Friday morning and literally 1000s of mosquitoes. Got over 100 bites in the 1st 2 holes. Had to quit and was told no refunds and needed to talk to gm”

If she got bit between holes her stance was too wide.

  12. I’ll propose my old JV home course, Union Lake (and sorry for the Instagram link) – https://www.instagram.com/coltgolf/reel/CxQTx-CrPxu/

Things the video didn’t mention – it was rare for all 12 holes to be open at any given time, at least one was always so fucked up that you couldn’t play on it. There was a person that lived on the course that complained about the golfers, some other neighbors had very loud kids that were allowed to yell and scream out back all they wanted. If it rained anytime within the last few days, suddenly about half the course becomes a water hazard.

We barely even got mocked for it, the opposing teams were just shocked and felt bad for us. And our team was always happiest playing away games. Luckily our coach found a new course after a year and a half. Union Lake finally shut its doors for good this year.

Just imagine someone with a big field of poorly kept St. Augustine put some holes in the ground and called it a golf course. No fairway, no rough, just a lack of trees in the direction of the hole. The greens were worse than most “bad” course’s tee boxes, and the tee boxes were basically rough.

Really requires a lot of “creativity” to play.

To this day I want to see a PGA Tour event at an absolute shit course with no maintenance up keep

  15. ShakeMyHeadSadly

Do you suppose DeChambeau could set a course record at one of these places?

  16. IamNotTheMama

I used to live about 15 minutes away from Oak Hollow Golf Course, McKinney, TX

It was so poorly kept that I said I would quit golf before I would play there for free.

I went to their website and the city of McKinney’s website and they are 100% delusional – this place is 100% shit.

  17. AndromedanPrince

Concord Golf Club, chattanooga, tn. course is fun but maintained poorly. there are no greens.

  18. Blackhawk in round rock Texas. The only time I’ve hit the fair and the ball goes god knows where after that.

  19. Username_redact

Pelham/Split Rock is not bad. Not even the worst in New York City. The mosquito problem must be a new thing, that place needs a tree thinning to get some air moving around. They were overgrown 20 years ago.

  20. ReverseMermaidMorty

I feel honored that two of the courses I grew up playing at are on the list. Honestly course 1 at Ponky is actually a really fun layout. If you’re out with good friends, once you get a few holes in you forget how dogshit the grounds are.

  21. greatflicks

Some serious atrocities on that list. Sad part is there are probably 100’s more that no one reported on.
