Patton Kazir pulled off an extraordinary moment during round two of the 2025 3M Open when his approach shot on the P 518th hole ricocheted off a floating sponsor sign and set up an unexpected birdie. Sitting at two under and needing a strong finish to make the projected five undercut, Kazir went for the green in two from 233 yds. His misit shot was headed for the water but instead struck the floating 3M open logo, bounced high and landed safely beyond the hazard. He then chipped on and hold the putt for birdie. Despite the miracle break, Kazir’s one under 70 left him at three under overall, missing the cut by two shots.
