All right, guys. Welcome back to the channel. I’ve got a different uh video for you today. How many times have you hit a bad shot on a golf course, dropped another ball, hit it tight. That sense of like, God, if that was my first one, I would have played so much better today. Getting that second chance. So, today we’re going to be doing a oneman, two ball scramble. It’s a oneman scramble. I’m getting two shots from every location. How much better can I play today with that second shot? I’m really interested. I don’t know. I think the goal is going to be to break par. I’ve been playing a little bit better. My average this year has been an at 83.9. We just looked it up. Um, we’ll see how many shots we can show uh we can we can shave off and we’ll see how low we can go. Colonial Springs, 6,600 yards. Me and Brendan out here. One camera shoot. Got the drone in the air. Let’s do it. [Music] Okay, I tugged it a little bit under the trees on the right hand side. Best part about this video, this video idea is that I get another one. Wow, this will be huge if I can hit this fairy. Now, now that’s why we’re doing the video right there. Brendan, you pull the first one under the trees. The second one is absolutely piped right down the middle with a draw. We are going low today. Wow, this is exciting. It’s my dream to get a redo on every shot. It’s also just a lesson in like you got to know what your mistakes are and like how you can correct them when you only have the one swing. I want I want to prove to myself that like I have the game to hit these shots to go low. This is a bomb. Wow. It’s got to be the furthest uh drive I’ve ever had in this hole. 85 yards, 54 degree. Pretty good spot. Nice pin location. Right on the stick. We’re going to try and do better than that. This is really good practice. I’m jazzed up right now. Jazzed. Jazz Chism. I don’t know how much it proves of your game. Like, you have to be able to do it on your first shot, but it’s going to teach me that I can hit the shots to go low. It’s just about being able to do it on the first time. Like, I have it in me to hit shots like this and make birdies and and good scores. I just got to be able to figure out how to get this confidence. This might be just a confidence booster. What am I going to do when I get over you? Hopefully, we’re going to have some good golf on on this channel for you guys here. I know I’m hitting two shots, but we play scrambles all the time. I just happen to be a oneman two ball scramble. Let’s go. People might hate this idea. I don’t know. I mean, this is a [ __ ] tap in here. Okay. Okay, that’s a birdie. One man scramble one under. How good is that? This is always a very tough visual hole for me. So, I’m excited I get two cracks at it. That’s going to work, Brendan. God, that’s going to work, man. Do I even hit a second one? Dude, I’m not even going to hit another one. That is blasted right down the middle. I’m not going to waste my swings. Sunday morning, man. She woke up, man. bitching and moaning. Tell you what, this uh pinched nerve might be the worst thing that’s ever happened to me because I can’t pick up my son. But in terms of my golf swing, pretty good. Whoa, I’m way back here. I should have hit another one. The [ __ ] This is 13. I think it’s 130. Wind dead in the face. So, I’m going to play it like 145. I got an eight iron. The other thing about this is if this is like the wrong club, I can make a nice adjustment shortening in the bunker. So, now we switch to a seven. I think this thing might be playing way up. pushed it. Uhoh. We were real high and mighty on the first hole. Jeez, that one went nowhere, too. What the hell? All right, bunker shot. Thought things were going to go a little bit better than that, but we got a bunker shot out here with Brendan playing golf. Two balls at two balls at each spot with a truly in my hand. It’s a good spot to be. Not the best spot, but also not the worst. We got two cracks at it. We’re going to take that all day there, Brennan. Try to get even closer. All right, got a good look at par. We’re calling this a oneman scramble, but for some YouTube channels, this might just be the way that they play regular YouTube golf. You know what I’m saying? Not to name any names. These are the ones you got to have. Huge. Huge. Wow. The putting is going to be uh pretty pretty alarming how bad of a putter I am. And this is going to expose that that I need two cracks at it. [Music] P790s. They give me that juice. I used to be a P770 guy. Back to the 790s. It’s like a comfort thing. All right, it’s 161 in that back pin. This always plays a little longer over the pond into the wind. I’ve got this playing like 175. So, I’m going to hit a little sixiron and hopefully it’s the right yardage. There we go. Yeah, take that. I can go after this one a little bit more. Man, that wind is strong. Swinging a little harder. Goes that much further. It’s crazy. 15 yard. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Definitely learn a lot from my game today. Definitely the different shots I can hit. How much more I can give a club. Yeah. No, this is fun. I got to uh take this one up on this hill. That’s a crazy putt from down there. This just closer. Go right to left. I like this way better. Come on, baby. Wow. That goes right at the hole. Wow. Not that right, though. [Music] Wow. Okay, we’ll take a three. Take that all day. One under. This hole always gives me kind of fits with that tree and OB left. So going to be aggressive with this first one. It is a scramble. Yep. It’s a good one. Just in the right rough. We’ll take another try and hit the fairway. I pulled that a little bit. Damn it. All right, we’ve got a good one out there. All right, we’re quite a ways away here. Threewood in the rough. Right over that bunker we’re going. I pulled it. Wow. Wow. I put a little pressure on this one now. Pulled it again, but that’s in the chipping area. Yeah, that’s fine. Okay. 95 to the stick, 101 to the back. Okay, we can do better. Come on, get over that. God, that was shorter. Long birdie putt. Damn, this freaking pin is tucked back here. What a push. Sliced it. Uh, you want to birdie the par fives. You want to eagle the par fives. You definitely don’t want a five. Definitely gave one away there. But not the easiest hole. As long as we’re not moving back, you know, backwards, we’re in a good spot. I can’t believe I sliced that second one. I don’t think I’ve ever thrown two balls up and caught them like that. Whoa. It’s the first time I’ve ever done that in my life. Yeah, I can juggle a little bit. Juggle these balls in your mouth. Dreams can come true. pulled it. God, I’d be playing real bad on one ball today. Wow, that got knocked down, too. All right, pressure again. It’s gone. It’s coming back. It’s in play. Got to take that one. All right. Got 170. Maybe 175. Have to hit a little bit of a cut here. Got seven iron. I don’t know if it’s going to be enough. Didn’t cut at all. Smoked it right on a string right into that back bunker. Chunked it, but that might get on right on the front. Yep. All right. Not the worst situation. Bad drive. Man, I am playing bad golf on my first ball. Good thing we did this today. All right. This is a lengthy one. This is where the two putts definitely help. Read the first one. React to the second one. How many people are watching this be like, “We get it. You’re hitting two balls.” You say it every single time. Go in. Come on. How good is that? Wow. Let’s go. Bang. Oh, it’s tight in there. Said daddy likes it. First ball. I would have been in the trees in the freaking [ __ ] But that’s a birdie. Wow. That’s a big putt. Two under. God, that’s so good. That’s not an easy putt. It’s a good one. It’s on the flat part of the fairway. We’ll do another one, but I really like that spot. That’s in the right rough. All right, we’re taking the first one. 15 months ago, Brendan Jones on the camera told me right here that his wife was pregnant. At the time, none of the guys on foreplay had a baby yet. And so, it was like a real I remember that hot feeling of like, wow, our lives are going to change. And also, we were struggling to get pregnant ourselves. So, I was like, this [ __ ] guy is telling me right now. I was like dealing with it that morning. I remember I was like even through 14 holes cuz we played this on the back and I crumbled. Crumbled. Happy for you. Says 130. It’s 115 cover. That pins on the front and everything on this green has like a little back stop and if you hit the right side it’ll jet to the left. So my first attempt at this will be with a pitching wedge to try. I think it’s going to fly. I’m just going over that right hump on the green. And hopefully this thing comes down to the left. It’s moving on me. It’s not going to make it. I got to go to a nine. Oh, it did make it. Oh my god, dude. That is incredibly lucky because that whole entire side of the green comes down. That’s more where I wanted the first one. Now get going. Oh, it stopped on me. Two good shots, though. All right, we got a nice birdie. Look. I like the way I’m hitting this thing. Look at that. Oh, yeah. Kind of nice. Good contact. This is uphill, but it’s a crazy slope. Can’t take this one. This has to come in sideways. Got to take the second one, even though it’s downhill. How about Matt Barzel, New York Islanders? Had two holein- ones this week on at Deep Dale. What? His first ever hole in one six days ago. Drained it like 165 out. And then the one yesterday, 212 yards, 17th hole. hooped it. 12. Yeah. Two hole in ones in one week. No, you got to hit that harder and on the right side. How do you leave that one short and left? All right, that’s a four. Damn it. Really wanted that one. [Music] This hole always gives me [ __ ] cuz that bunker is right in my way. It’s par five, getable, but that bunker is like the most perfectly placed bunker. Just hit a nice one right left of the bunker. Right there. Come on, baby. Get up and kick right. Yes, sir. God, that’s good. We needed that. We ain’t hitting another one. No way. I never hit this fairway. The fact that I’m in that spot, I’m taking it. So, now we got it. Now we got two shots at this fair at this green. If I can get real aggressive trying to get on two here. 270. God. All right. We got to go all in on this 3wood. I actually don’t think I can make it. Okay. Going for it. Little right. Stop. All right. Not a bad spot. Chipping right up at the hole there. Not the worst spot. We can get a little more aggressive. No, that’s a rig swing. You see the way I did that? The hell was that? All right, we got a good one. It’s like a baseball swing. All right, everything goes right to left down there. Little downhill. Come on, baby. Chase down there. Take that. Okay. A little more aggressive now. Get up that hill. All right. Come on now. Come on now. Come on now. Really like this format here, Brendan. really like this game. Smack that [ __ ] It’s a birdie. That is a birdie. Three under through seven holes. We’re rolling now. We are rolling. I’ve got it in me, man. I have the shots. If you give me two chances at I got the shots. Got to figure out how to do this all on the first try now. This would be the time I hit a hole in one. When we have two shots at it, it’s not going to count. All right. 142 to the stick. All right. Right side. Nothing special. kind of pin high. Same spot. Little more left off the back. Wow. Not our best effort there. Not our best effort at all. We’ve got a putt, though. All right, let’s make this now. Oh my god. Oh my god. That’s the worst putt of my life. My brain just shut off. Wow. Doesn’t break. God, what am I doing? All right, it’s a three. You know, with two chances at that putt, those were two bad passes at it. So, uh, I’m not going to say I should have made it, but you got to have a better better chance at it than I gave it. All right, we’ll take it. We’re three under through eight holes going to nine and then we’re going to play Valley nine. So, this is definitely the hardest side we got here at Colonial. It’s pretty tough track, so I’m pretty happy if I can go three or four under and really try and tear up Valley. Three under. Feeling good. This is an interesting one because the water is on the right, bunkers are on the left. When I’m playing my own ball, it’s typically a 3-wood. Cuz if you just pull it just even a little bit, it always chases right into the water with the driver. So, what I’m going to do here is if I hit a good one on my first one and put myself in a decent spot out there, I’m going to rip driver and see how close we can get without hitting the water. I think that’s the play. put one out, get it safe, know that we have a shot into the green, and then try and I mean, I’m talking that neck of that fairway is 20 yards wide. All right, not a good one. I got to hit that girl for short. Okay, I thought that was going over the bunker. Oh my god, Frank. That one’s gone. All right, we got one in front of the bunker. Should have just [ __ ] hit driver, idiot. It’s going to be a It’s 186 to the pin. I hit that thing nowhere. That was a 213 yard 3-wood. Real light sevenwood. Just pop it up in the air. Oh, I tugged it a little bit. Get dry. God. Oh, that’s kind of dry. Yes. Yes, Brendan. Be the right number. Oh, is that deep? God, that came off so nice. All right, we’re going to have to scramble for a par here. Got to make an up and down. Oh, did that stay short? Wow, that stayed short. Yeah, I was going to say I saw a little white dot. No way. Love that. All right. Somehow we were short of this bunker. Thought for sure it went right in, but sat soft right here. Little chip. Chance to make it. And those are that that is as bad as you’re going to see. Two chip two chips. One lands right here. The other one almost goes into the back of the freaking water. What are we doing here? Are we actually going to bogey this thing right now? Up the hill. Comes down to the right, I guess. Those are horrible chips. Wow. God, that is so bad. Come on. God. Bogey. Wow, that’s pretty pathetic, actually. Got to be better, man. All right, that’s a front nine 33. I left something out there right there. All right, back nine. Just gave one up on nine. And we’re going to take that Dumbledore style where he takes some memories out of his side of his temple and he just throws them away. If not, I think it’s just short. Yeah, I think it’s just short. We’ll have to see up there. I’m going to take this a little bit more right. Oh, it’s too far right now. Damn. All right, I think the first one might be okay. This is a really hard shot, actually. All right, we’re in a perfect spot. Went over the bunker. Got to knock this close. Got to take advantage. I don’t know if that’s too deep. Perfect. Okay, that was a little right. Also, all right, these MG5s are I got to really replace that divot. I wonder if that one had some crazy zip. See, I think this thing hit here and like zipped. I’m pretty sure. This is must make now. Had to have it. And we had it. All right, back to three under. God, that’s a really good birdie. I’m telling you, we can tear this back nine up. That’s just a good hole. Oh, that was my first. That’s a true birdie. Yeah, that’s good. We need more of those. Yeah, that’s like that second set of bunkers, especially downwind. I mean, I’m not really swinging that hard, but on hole one, I hit one 300. This is the same wind that’s gone. Okay. Woof. We want to get rid of that swing. Perfect. That’s awesome. That is why we are doing the video cuz I would have shot a million on my first ball today. It’s a swing correction every time. You just you know what to do. You know, you get that second shot. You get that second chance. 134. I think we try a pitching wedge. You think you’d learn something about that wind deep? You’d think you’d learn something about that wind. Both of them got pushed a little left, but we got a birdie putt. What a great game this is. Just a game of golf. I mean, I’m acting like I should be birdie in every hole. You still got to hit it real tight. You only get one extra swing at it on on the fairway. No, you definitely still have to hit the golf shots. Just because you’re getting a second one doesn’t mean that like if you hit two bad drives, you’re going to make a double boat. Like you’re going to You know what I mean? Left to right win 185. I’ve got a sixiron in my hand. I think it should be a five. This thing might be playing close to 200. We’ll go with the five first. said if it’s way too long and we can adjust. I’d rather hit longer with all those bunkers. I mean, it’s either really good or short. I saw it bounce forward, so I might just It might have carried that first bunker and then it’s like short. That one’s even better. What am I doing with these five irons right now? Yeah, that’s on the back, right? I mean, that that first one’s interesting. Those are two good five irons, though. It’s got to be short. It’s I just didn’t get it as much as I got this one. Even with the scramble format, not going to be able to get there. So, no sense in really doing anything outside of my game here. Don’t try and go for anything crazy. Just keep this down the middle. That wind, man. All right, it’s a good spot up there on that ledge. These are good strikes right now. That might be too close to the tree. So, we’ll see. That might not give me an angle, but I like the way I’m actually striking those. That’s a good tempo. You got to remind me about that tempo, man. I need that tempo all the time. Yeah. Not a good I don’t like this angle of the second one. We’re going to go with the first one. That’s awesome. Yeah, that’s awesome. We’re going to go with the 3-wood here. See how much further we can get. I just don’t want to go in that bunker. So, it’s going to chase Kepka all the way down there. All right, we’re in a good spot here, Brendan. So, this right here is the difference between the 3-wood and the fivewood. Fivewood, great spot, right down the middle on a really, really tight fairway. and then three-wood chased all the way up. We’re going to try and get this thing real tight. I haven’t been too confident over these, but as Dr. Brett McCabe says, don’t say watch out, say watch this. That’s where this format should be really helping me. Like I should I I hit that first one too short. And you got to be able to nip that same shot in just a little bit more juice. Rigs gets a lot of [ __ ] but if he was in that spot with two shots at it, he’s tapping in for birdie. His short game’s sick. All right, we’re on 15. As you’ve been watching the first 14 holes, I’m sure that you’re able to go back and see a pattern of what I’m doing wrong. I’d love to hear. I’m obviously there’s going to be trolls that say like I suck and Belli sucks or whatever. They’re going to be mean, but I’m sure that there’s some sort of pattern in like my misses. You’re seeing me take two attempts at everything and where I’m correcting it and where I’m not. Um I’d love to hear back from someone that’s really analyzing it. Little bit of a push. And now the beauty of this what I just said is now I’m able to correct. But there’s got to be some sort of pattern here. Like why is this one going to end up being a good one? Ew. Fairway though. Uh first cup not our best in between a seven and an eight. I think because of the wind and where that pin is. I’m going to go with an eight. That came out really high. Missed it left and I pulled that one. Frustrating. No green regulation. I like that better than what I’ve been doing. That one felt good. Brendan, let’s try and make this. Come on. The way I was coming down on it. Make the par. Move on to the par five. We can gain some strokes there. What I’ve been doing on these, I look, if it’s like especially uphill, I’ve been looking one hole behind the hole. I just pick a little point and I try and drill that and the hole just gets in the way. I mean, obviously I’m not breaking any news here. You hit a little three-footer. I just think there was so much of me looking at the front of the hole that I was losing a lot of like speed and momentum through the ball. So now if I look beyond it at least it’s like I’m hitting it with some pace you know some pace not I got a guy Sally comes to bellis he always does this like like s you look he’s like [ __ ] right in the back pocket I don’t even know what it means he’s always just yeah no yeah I got a new TV I got a good deal oh where’d you get it oh yeah that’s what it is it’s like a don’t worry about it back of the pocket I go cash. S you got a new car. [Music] All right. Biggest hole of the day. Par five downwind. Very getable. Got to start with a good drive here. Come on, Frankie. Let’s go. That’s why we get two shots at it. Lost it. This is [ __ ] crazy. I can’t hit a straight drive. My life depended on it right now. We didn’t get the roll we wanted. I mean, this whole thing goes down. We just didn’t hit a good shot. But now we can make up for it with a big one here. Let’s go. Oh my god, dude. That was going on. All right. Oh my god, this tree is murdering me. I’ve lost my game. Good great drive. Lost the first one. Second one came over the top. Second shot hit the tree. Then I dribbled one. It’s like Everything felt against me on that. We walk away with a four. That’s really, really big. We’re grinding. We’re actually Everything is like built for this to be easy for me, but we’re grinding. [Music] I’m going to get aggressive with this one. Taking a seven iron. Says 156 to the stick, but because of that dead into it wind, I’m going to play it like 170. We’re going to see if this goes way over. We’ll just switch to the eight. Came across it again. Short, dude. Wow. All right, I can go after it. That’s going to be really short. Wow. Wow. Wow. to think I said I was going to be aggressive. Can I make it up and down? Just move on to 18. I’m trying to go low, man. I’m like being hard on myself today. I was trying to go real low cuz I know I’ve been playing all right and I really thought I could like birdie every hole. But yeah, we I just look my average score this year for 2025 has been 83.5. So, if I come in with a 68, it’s a 15 stroke difference. Dude, that’s too short, man. We got to be better. Wow. Can you believe how much the wind just blew that little chip? Wow. All right, we got to make a long putt. Come on, man. Come on. Yes. Yes. Oh gosh, that’s big. Come on. That’s satisfying. Let’s go. Yes. Let’s go for a 67 here. Let’s birdie this. Can’t go driver here. Everything that hits the fairway kicks right into the water. Got a fivewood going right out to those bunkers. Especially with a helping wind, it’s more than enough. Yep, that’s the one we needed, Brennan. That is the one we needed. That’s a big fivewood. Let’s go. We’re not hitting another one. No reason to. That’s what I’m talking about. Let’s go. Wow. 267. That’s a good fivewood. Downwind. Straight downwind. Nutted it. Birdie here puts us at a 67, which is just a hilarious number. 121. It’s got to be a real light pitching wedge that just freaking hits the front of the green and or hits the middle of the green just checks. It’s my only option. I bladed it. All right. Obviously, a lot of the times on my first ball, I put myself in horrific situations. Like, today was really interesting because there the the drastic change from swing one to swing two really shocked me. Like, it’s not like I hit one decent and the next one was a little bit better. We took that one. There was a lot of times it was like first one dead and now you need to hit a good one for the second one. So, um, we didn’t really put ourselves in too much of a bad situation all day, which I’m pretty proud of. And yeah, I wish I had two shots all the time. I would shoot, you know, shooting 67s is way better than my average 83.9 for the year 2025. So, yeah, we shaved off what, 16 strokes in 18 holes. Really fun. Shout out to Kraken. Shout out to Truly for getting us through the round and getting us through uh you know the whole entire year of golf and tailor made.
