Here’s my plan: I have a bunch more gravel on the other side of the house. I’d move it over here to level out this area with the pool deck so I don’t kill muself with a thinned shot. Also would provide me a level hitting area.

I’d be using a garmin r10. 7 feet from the circled stone to the house, 8 feet from the circled stone to impact with the net. Does it look safe to you? Any issues I’m not thinking of? Will it make my neighbor hate me?

  1. Your distances would be fine, but I wouldn’t bank on having any hard surfaces that could be reflection points back at you (or anywhere else that might cause damage). Rather than maybe bringing in more gravel just put your hitting mat up on gym tiles or something with give and run those up to the front edge of the Spornia?

Heck even that column is just waiting for a shank to reflect back at your face or shin or whatever.

I have a spornia and it’s a great net. With that said my garage door and ceiling absolutely has errant ball marks. Few but they are there, it happens when you trying to adjust your swing etc.

Hope you shoot straight and don’t expect to use your wedges.

You’ll shoot your eye out kid. Also if I were your neighbor, I’d be pissed hearing your thwap thwap over and over when I’m trying to enjoy being outside!

Im sure this is contentious but i use foam balls and they seem to work pretty well. You could start with those and just see where they land/hit
