You know that feeling when you find some extra fries at the bottom of the bag? No? How about putting on a jacket you haven’t worn in a while and finding a crisp $20 bill in the front pocket?

That’s exactly what it felt like to test the Reebok Club C Golf.

In my humble opinion, Reebok shot 33% from the field to start the season. I tested the Question Golf, the OG Pump Golf, and the Nano Golf with only the last model in that list being well suited for the course. Needless to say, Reebok needed another hit to bring that average up to a respectable level.

I’m more than happy to report that the Reebok Club C Golf Shoes successfully take the brand up to 50% on the year. The Reebok Club C Golf is a simple, comfortable, and stylish little golf shoe that is suited for life on and off the course.

Let’s head to the first tee!

Fit

Seamless. [Editor’s Note: He doesn’t mean that literally.]

My usual 11.5 was a perfect fit with every part of my foot feeling great.

It’s especially worth noting that the Reebok Club C Golf shoes took little to no time to break in. The fit was great, and they slid right on and started making magic on the course immediately.

There isn’t a wide option, however, which is unfortunate for our wide-footed readers. You can likely tell from glancing at the pictures that the Club C Golf Shoes have more of a slim-type classic fit. So if you have significantly wide feet, find somewhere that you can try them on in person before purchasing.

If you have average feet for your shoe size, order your normal size!

Traction

This is a top-shelf option for casual golf.

If you’re a tournament golfer or even just someone who prioritizes traction above all else, there are better options when it comes to grip.

But if you’re the casual golfer who catches a couple of rounds per month in the heat of the summer, the Reebok Club C Golf Shoes are going to be your best friend.

For my part, I didn’t experience any slippage in Utah’s dry, June conditions. That being said, I don’t have full confidence for wetter climates as the traction is made up of a pretty basic spikeless rubber tread pattern.

I can recommend the Reebok Club C Golf Shoes for those in dry climates, but be wary in places where you play a lot of golf in/after the rain.

Cushion

This is one of the more unique situations that I’ve had to write about in reviewing a golf shoe because there’s no traditional midsole to speak of in the Reebok Club C Golf.

The cushion is just a pretty simple removable insole. The insole has more cushion than the majority I see when it comes to golf shoes, but it’s still basic. But while it’s nothing special, my feet did feel pretty comfortable within the shoe.

I’ll jump into this more in the support section, but the actual shoe is VERY stiff. So once the insole is worn down, I have little to no confidence in the quality of the Reebok Club C Golf Shoes from the perspective of impact protection.

Be aware that the durability of the cushioning is definitely worth considering when purchasing the Club C Golf.

Support

I stated this above, but the structure of the shoe beneath the removable insole is extremely stiff. There’s a little bit of extra support from the rubber lining around the bottom of the shoe that helped with more difficult and strenuous terrain.

But other than the natural stability the stiffness of the platform provides, the support is pretty minimal, with the only additional feature being a nicely crafted leather upper that has held up well through testing.

Although this is another section with minimal technology, I felt like my feet were supported enough to play casual rounds in dry conditions with friends and family.

Just don’t expect it to handle the toughest of conditions or most intense play.

Price

Is the Reebok Club C Golf worth $100?

It really depends on what you’re looking for in this case.

If you’re searching strictly based on on-course performance, I’d pick a shoe with a little bit more meat on the bone. There are better options for a similar price—for example, the adidas S2G Spikeless.

If you plan on wearing the Club C Golf Shoes on AND off the course, the $100 price point is justifiable.

Reebok Club C Golf Summary

If you’re looking for a high-performing shoe with better traction and cushion, you’ll want to check out my review catalog to find a tested option that’s better suited to your needs.

But I’m very bullish on the Reebok Club C Golf. I’ve been wearing it on the course, at my office, and around town—and I haven’t been disappointed in any of these scenarios.

While the shoe lacks all the bells and whistles (from a tech perspective) that some of the major players include, the Club C Golf Shoes are relatively comfortable, look extremely clean on foot, and are reasonably priced. If you’re willing to wear them on and off the course, this is a great option.
