The Jennian Homes Charles Tour is set to return to the Pegasus Golf & Sports Club north of Christchurch later this year,

The event will be played over 54 holes from Wednesday to Friday, with a Pro-Am taking place Tuesday 7 October. It is the latest addition to the Charles Tour schedule and is expected to attract some of the country’s best emerging and established professional golfers.

Pegasus Golf & Sports Club is no stranger to top-level golf, having previously hosted two Charles Tour events – won by Luke Toomey and Daniel Hillier.

The New Zealand PGA Championship, won by Kazuma Kobori, and three editions of the New Zealand Women’s Open have also been held at the venue

Dave Mangan, General Manager of Championships and Golf Operations at Golf NZ, expressed enthusiasm about the tour’s return to Pegasus:

“Golf New Zealand is excited to be returning to Pegasus Golf Club for the Club Car Classic. The Pegasus Golf Club in its short history has established itself as a great championship venue.

Having hosted the New Zealand Women’s Open, the New Zealand PGA Championship, and previous Jennian Homes Charles Tour events. We know the players enjoy the club’s excellent facilities and we look forward to setting up the course for an exciting few days of golf.”

The Club Car Classic as it will be known at the Pegasus Golf & Sports Club is scheduled for 8–10 October 2025.
