7 iron, 174 into slight head wind, never left the pin…ugghh.. hopefully one of these days it finally drops. The shots that keep us coming back for more!

    I had a similar near miss on my first HOI in 2023. So close, my playing partners insisted on taking a picture, which was just like this one. On mine, the ball came to rest on the opposite side of hole from the tee box, so it somehow slid around the pin without going in.

    The very next day I got my first ace! So you just never know!

    Don’t worry, your playing partner will pure their next shot, land on the green while tracking to the hole and bump your ball into the hole for your first ace.

    Ive been here too except my ball mark was pk the front and my ball sitting like this at the back of the cup. Sooo close
