Paige Spiranac is a former pro golfer, model and social media personality.
Her ever-growing profile led to her being captured on the silver screen recently when she played a cameo role in Happy Gilmore 2.
Here we take a closer look at the woman who many describe as golf’s top social media influencer.
Where was Paige Spiranac born?
Born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, on March 26, 1993.
She came from a sporting family. Mother Annette was a professional ballerina and lingerie model, while father Dan, who hailed from Croatia, was part of the University of Pittsburgh Panthers football team, which won the 1976 National College Championship. Her older sister, Lexie, was a heptathlete in the Stanford University track and field team.
Where does she live?
Spiranac lives in a luxurious home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
What’s her golfing background?
After giving up gymnastics due to sustaining a broken kneecap, Spiranac turned to golf. She was a prolific winner on the Colorado junior golf circuit and earned a golf scholarship from the University of Arizona. She later transferred to San Diego State and turned pro in 2015.
Despite a win on the developmental Cactus Tour and making the cut at the 2016 Scottish Open on the Ladies’ European Tour, her crack at qualifying for the 2016 LPGA Tour fell short.
She once said she has a “toxic love-hate relationship with the game” and that was one of the reasons she stopped playing golf professionally.
In 2021, Spiranac made a hole-in-one in front of legend Gary Player in the Berenberg Invitational Pro-Am at GlenArbor Golf Club in New York. It came on the 148-yard par-3 14th hole. The celebrations were captured on camera.

What films has she appeared in?
Spiranac plays a golf shop saleswoman in Happy Gilmore 2. She told SI Swimsuit: “The most nerve-wracking part was that I would be filming my scene alongside Adam Sandler, who I’ve admired for as long as I can remember. But he was so kind, humble and down-to-earth that it made the experience so easy and fun! I didn’t have many lines, but I made sure I had them all down perfectly!”
Is she married?
Spiranac married Steven Tinoco, an athletic trainer, in 2018.
They divorced in 2022.
She has been secretive about relationships, but at the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party, she arrived with new boyfriend Zach Brantly, an investment banker. They met in 2023.
She has also been romantically linked in the past to Bryson DeChambeau and NFL legend Tom Brady, but denied those rumours earlier this year, claiming that she has never dated anyone famous.
Who are her friends in golf?
Spiranc grew up playing junior golf with 2023 US Open champion Wyndham Clark, and the two have a well-documented friendship. She interviewed him during an episode of the Netflix golf show “Full Swing”.
She also once admitted she “had a crush” on Xander Schauffele when the two were enrolled at San Diego State at the same time. The now two-time Major winner wasn’t interested, though, as he met his now wife, Maya, at SDSU in 2014.
She’s vocal on mental health
Spiranac is a passionate advocate of keeping strong mental health and has spoken openly about suffering anxiety and seeking therapy. She has used her own experiences of online abuse to help others deal with negativity and take care of their own well-being. She has worked with anti-cyberbullying and online hate organisation Cybersmile.
What’s her net worth?
It is estimated that a combination of endorsements and social media (a mix of golf, lifestyle and fitness) gives Spiranac a net worth of $2-3million. Her highest season of earnings as a golfer was just $8k on the Cactus Tour in 2016.
Each sponsored social media post is believed to earn her $35k to $45k. She has boosted earnings via her own subscription-based platform, OnlyPaige. Her brand partnerships include Callaway, 18Birdies, Swag, Women’s Health and Lululemon.
