couldn’t get out of the way Gets hit by the pitch Tristan Cases hitting 170 Swinging a miss Strike three on that change up Good start for Davis Martin on the mound Socks bats coming up Shawn Nukem 0 and one 519 RA The Massachusetts boy going for his first Red Sox victory with Miguel Vargas to start this bottom of the first inning What a quality at bat from B Vargas to earn himself a walk Sean Nukem will put a lot of men on base Here’s Luis Robert Jr Little roller to first on a check swing Kasus will go for him and tag him out Basically it’s a swinging bunt Down to second goes Vargas with 10 away Lenin Sosa and in there to catch him looking He strikes out Sosa He froze him with a breaky ball Two down And now it’s Andrew Vaughn with two outs And that’s going to be dropped in there He base side Sable picks it up and he won’t even make a throw That’s a good play by Taylor to try to spark this White Socks offense One gun Well here he is The 23-year-old Chase Maid making his major league debut Here is his first at bat here for the White Socks This is what he’s known for a walk in his first big league at bat He led the minors last season in walks Twoon one out Here is Omar the dugout And here’s Narvz grounds to the right side Kasa slips out of his glove and there’s no play at first as Narvz is safe Well our socks have figured out where to hit the ball Not only does he drop the ball but he slips and there’s runners at first and second with only one out Here’s Amaya and pumped in there and that will sit him down in there for strike three Amaya caught Look at Toway and Miguel Vargas He’s drawn to walk it fly out Good hitting count here Two balls no strikes to Vargas takes a big rip and delivers it into left Maid he will score easily Narvasz he’s hustling He’s got the windmill They’re sending him Here comes the plate at the plate Offline and Narvas is in there Vargas drives in two And the Socks White Socks take a four nothing lead Officially ruled a two RBI double with Vargas advancing to third on the throw Robert has terrific power Luis Robert Jr A little dink to center field and it drops in Vargas scores It’s a five nothing White Socks lead here in the fourth Five zip Here’s Sosa There goes Robert Jr throw down to second and his second stolen base tonight Line Sosa with an RBI opportunity here And the 22 swinging a base hit to right Robert around E8 I think that uh they’re just having a night Ball four second walk for my draw So Maid has a 1,000 on base percentage And here’s Narvay hits this one well to right field but Abrau is there tagging from third Taylor he will score Sackfly RBI for Narvz and it’s 7 nothing White Socks on top here in the fifth William Abrau has a single He’s gone one for two That’s a bullet down the line to the track and wall Willard into second He’ll get there standing up with a double Best swing of the night for the Red Sox Really good to see a Breu kind of back on it Campbell’s gone one for two single and now he’s got another base hit into center field Willard to third and he’ll stop there So Red Sox indeed making a little noise first and third and that’s going to be it It’s going to be six plus for Davis Martin Well you probably remember Camboozer with the Red Sox Red Sox have a couple of men on and they’re going to let Blake Sable hit Fly ball that’s well hit to center Robert gets under it They’ll make the catch tagging up and the Red Sox will be on the scoreboard at last That’ll make it seven to one The bases are loaded for Alex Bregman 3-2 on the ground Fargus backhands He’s going to come to first with it and the White Socks get out of the jam That’ll bring up Narvay with the bases loaded He had a sack fly in his previous trip Serves this one into left center field It’s going to get down Taylor will score Baldwin comes in behind him to score White Socks pouring it on here at home It’s now 9 to one in the seventh Was that catcher interference again yes That’s the second time tonight Robert Junior on it first with nobody out here in his bottom of the eighth There’s Sosa coming up clutch again This one all the way to the gap Robert Jr He’ll be waved in The throw to the plate and he will score An RBI double for Lenin Sosa as the White Socks put up a 10 spot Two down and now Baldwin Brooks Baldwin That one will get past Story and Sosa He’s going to be waved home The throw to the plate and Sosa’s safe An RBI single for Brooks Baldwin makes it 11 to one White Socks here in this eighth inning Brandon Isert just back from TripleA because Frasier Ellard hit the IIL today with a strained hamstring Two down in the ninth Jared Durant next and it doesn’t matter White Socks just dominant here in game one of this threeame series Breaking up the 8game losing streak
