FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Purdue Fort Wayne sophomore Justin Hicks took home the the Fort Wayne Golf Association’s 100th city tournament title Monday with a final score of a one under par 215 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club.
This was Hicks’s first tournament back after suffering an ACL and meniscus tear in December 2024. The sophomore was propelled to the finish after a masterful front nine in the final day going six under par including an eagle on hole 5.
Down the stretch, Hicks was trailed closely by fellow mastodon Julian Dugan who finished with an even par 216.
Johnny Watts followed closely behind in third finishing with a one over par 217.
