It is nice and quiet here. I flip back. I can hear myself now. No, I got to focus on what Dan said about and and the critical key last moment about how good the lines were in the 22 meter. And I just thought when the moment was tough that they they delivered and this was the the killer blow for Australia. It was this is what got them the entry that Stewart break and he managed to get back up on his feet. But this I love. Now Russell’s just desperate to get to the space to play that ball over the top is so gutsy, but he plays it. Now look at Morgan and Keenan. One great clear out. This is three great clear outs in a row. Look how Win Farrell highlighted sprints in second great clear out in a row. It’s these sort of small moments which win the game. Now Keenan from that first clear out works round to give the Lions that extra player on this far side. This was the controversial clear out. Morgan again gets in low. I think it was brilliant play. He got so low and then Conan stays nice and wide to give Keenan that chance of a one-on-one. And then Keenan bearing in mind how much ground he’s covered. That’s a one-onone. He stands up Icottow by the waykitau all game. That’s a fantastic finish from Keenan and he’s just worked all the way around. Now we have another look closer here. Morgan has to try and get under him. I think that is brilliant. That is so hard to get a player so low to the ground and Tano’s great over the ball. I’m glad the referee didn’t buy him acting to try and get that penalty. It wasn’t at all. I thought it was excellent clear out, but there was two great clear outs as you saw before that. So, they’re the small moments from the Lions. You know, Finn Russell with a gutsy handling ability. Keenan’s work off the ball, Farrell Morgan going in to win possession. No one’s going to see those moments live, but you watch that back and that work rate off the ball is what won the Lions and gave that opportunity to win. Now, there’s many factors that win a game. Set piece has to go well. Kicking game has to go well. Physically, the Lions need to go well. and they hung on in there. Obviously, Australia were dominant, but critically, how do they do when they get into the 22 as Dan Bigger just said, and if you’re anywhere above four points per entry on average, you’re going to have a great chance to win the test match. And this backs it up. The Lions got into the 22. More often than not, they scored and that was the

  1. I thought that was a pathetic piece of acting by Tizzano and I only hope we don’t see this shamming creeping into our game!

  2. It was Curry's tackle in Sua'ali'i that made it all possible. If he'd have scored under the posts at that time the Aussies would've been home and hosed.

  3. Same old Aussies always cheating. Diving like footballers, the games gone if we allow Aussie culture to come into rugby. As was proven with sandpaper gate and Alex Carey stumping in Cricket, this lot will do anything to win, either in the spirit of the game or not.

  4. 15.3 Players involved in all stages of the ruck must have their heads and shoulders no lower than their hips( I don't know how you can win a turnover without dipping your head lol) . The Australian player can be penalized for this also . To be honest there are far many rules to the point that 1 rule negates another. It should be left to the refs discretion on the feild like yesterday.

  5. I’m Irish and Morgan was off his feet, it should not have stood, but no doubt the Aussies will cry about it all week 😂😂

  6. Clean out was absolutely fine. But considering will Stuart was pinged a few mins earlier for a roll after the tackle Kinghorns carry looks identical to me that should have been penalty to Australia if the same logic is applied.

  7. Who cares what warbuton greenwood bigger ogara say there the worse so called pundits comentars ive ever heard on rugby there a english man irish man 2 welsh men now there proving to be a joke

  8. The Aussie took a dive. I'm not even criticizing him for it, bit gamesmanship is expected at that level, but really? Refs got that right.

  9. No Welsh player for 100 years last week. Game winning clear out this week. BOOM 💥🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏆

  10. A cheating Aussie, who could’ve predicted that? Well done the referee for not falling for the abysmal acting performance. Tizzano should be ashamed.

  11. cheers Sam. Clarity from a man who understands the craic fully and who is renown for direct, un-bias honesty.

  12. Morgan’s clear out was not brilliant. He goes off his feet first then makes contact with the back of Tizzanos head. Warbs should know much better.

  13. Tizzano behaved like a shameful play acting football player, just pathetic. Wrong sport Tizzano, jog on. Toughen up you muppet!

Perfect clear out by Morgan! Controlled shoulder to shoulder low hard fast & faultless!

  14. The Aussies are such bad losers. And the have the cheek to call us the whinging pons. lol they’re the biggest whingers in the whole world.

  15. Maybe Sam should look at his own coaching videos and come back and redo the analysis.

  16. Any mention of itojes penalties first half, he was rattled by Skelton.
Get over it 4 nations plus the rest Just about beat a struggling Australian side…
    Waow amazing

  17. I'm a Lions fan ive played and watched for years and I don't understand how that final ruck wasn't a penalty?

    1) Tizzano was contesting the ball possibly with his head a bit low but on his feet.

    2) Morgan sealed the ball off by going off his feet

    3) he hit tizzano on the head doing it.

The reason ive heard this isn't a penalty is that everyone does it and it never gets penalised.

    So change the law surely?

  18. Honestly, reading all this myopic Aussie whinging squawking bleating over a brilliant Jac Morgan clear-out is pathetic.

It's as offensive as Carlo Tizzano's shameful play-acting feigning injury to his head like a full on soccer player!

Fake acting that moved to his neck once it was clear there was NO head contact.

    Man-up Wallabies, embarrassing hyperbole! Shameful.

  19. Clearout was fine, Aussie milked it, morgan didn't go off his feet at the point of impact and had to go off his feet when when the aussie disintegrated in front of him and tried to cheat a penalty.

  20. I think you guys forgot what under means. He hit in the back of the head and top of the shoulders!!! Don't b.s just call it and say it was 50/50 dont make up something you can blatantly see is wrong.

  21. I think Morgan has been outstanding throughout this tour, but if I can play devil's advocate, do you think Morgan went off his feet in the ruck?
I don't believe it was a head or neck contact – it was shoulder on shoulder. Perfect entry IMO, but clarification re Morgan's feet/legs.

  22. So glad we won and it was not head contact but both Morgan and Genge went off their feet sealing off. There was no wrap with the left are either. These mistakes happen and it could have gone the other way. I think we should acknowledge this though appreciate why the Wallabies are so unhappy. However, they had multiple chances to stop us prior and screwed it up. Great team try.

  23. What a clear out by Jac Morgan. It should’ve been penalty advantage to Lions due to dangerous body position of the Wallaby. You can see how low he gets in the clearout, he couldn’t have got any lower and you can see just how he gets underneath the player.

Law 15.3 states: "A player must not intentionally collapse a ruck or lower their head below their hips in a way that creates a dangerous situation."

Well done Jac Morgan, you did yourself and the people of Wales/Cymru proud!

  24. If y'all say it's not a penalty, then agree that play had to stop for the head injury. It happened right in front of the ref

  25. Too much talk from pundits… on and on, every channel. Let’s just watch the rugby

  26. why are uk tv presenters so scruffy at such a prestigious event .. embarrssing and undermining of the best sport in the world !!

  27. tizzano grabbed his head because he had just been hit by morgan in the neck / shoulders. morgan is a big lad with plenty of momentum. as for falling over again the momentum of the hit and the fact that morgan had tizzano's l/leg wrapped up.
lions thoroughly deserved their win as they played better rugby for most of the match and i had money on them. thought the scrum-half was really impressive
