Three of Callaway’s lesser known golf balls. The Superfast was an incredible golf ball only a few short years ago. Now that Callaway has decided to continue them, how does the 2025 model perform?
The Callaway Hex Soft is an amazon ball that offers incredible value. As low as 20$ per dozen, it offers an exceptionally soft feel.
The Warbird is interesting. Our test scores were lower, however many of you claimed the ball was very responsive once the swing speed increased over a certain amount. Is the Warbird still an amazing option for Fast swingers who need a straight distance ball?

What is up my fellow golf ball addicts? Welcome back to the channel. We have another set of reviews for you today. We are still on Callaway with three of their more lesserk known golf balls. More of their budget friendly options, maybe some Amazon models in there. But we have the Callaway Superfast, the Hex Soft, and the Warbird Distance Plus. Let’s dive right in. Let’s see how they all compare to each other. Guys, as always, I appreciate you liking, commenting, subscribing. It really helps the channel out a bunch. We also have a membership that just starts at a dollar a month if you want to help the channel out further. But listen, just commenting and helping that engagement rate out is so helpful. Even if your comment is just, “Hey man, love the channel.” Or it’s, “Hey, you suck. I whatever it doesn’t really matter to me. I just appreciate the engagement.” So, these three golf balls are, you know, more of the underground budget options from Callaway. You know, people looking to save a buck but still get some decent performance. Um, you know, I didn’t realize Callaway had so many balls because there’s still a lot we haven’t covered. We haven’t even covered their tour line yet. We haven’t covered, you know, the ERC. We haven’t covered the Hex Tour soft. We haven’t I don’t know. It just feels like there’s a lot of them we have not covered. And now here we’re covering three more. And some of these you probably haven’t heard of. Maybe some of them you’ve seen, maybe some of them you play. But it’s quite interesting that Callaway has so many in there. They’re really trying to nail every corner of the market, which I respect. I I get that. Trust me. Um, so we’ll go ahead and just dive right into these. Let’s start with the Super Fast. Now, when it comes to the Superfast, a lot of the old golf ball addicts will know that this golf ball was on the top 100 list in the top five actually, a couple years ago. Now, why was it not on the list last year? Well, I was told by Callaway it was being discontinued. I mean, we had multiple of you actually had reached out to Callaway, had asked an email and they said, “Hey, we’re discontinuing it. Unfortunately, it’s no longer being made.” Well, then for whatever reason, I have my ideas, but I won’t talk about them. But for whatever reason, they decided, hey, wait a minute. No, actually, we’re going to keep it around. We’re going to we’re going to do it. So, they actually came out with a brand new 2025 model this year. That’s what we will be testing. Then, we have the Callaway Hex Soft, which this is going to be your, you know, value exclusive on Amazon, you know, type of ball. Um, my only big concern with this one is, and we’ll compare this later in the video, but how does it compare to the super soft? Because they seem kind of similar, you know, price-wise is similar. Two-piece soft. Uh, so we’ll have to check the differences there just to see if it’s just a knockoff that’s just kind of a a one-off intended to get more of the market or if there actually is a difference between the two. We’ll check that as well. And last but not least, we have the Callaway Warbird, which this is actually the Warbird Distance Plus. Now, I am interested about this golf ball because the Warbird is one of the few golf balls on the market that I recommend for fast fast swingers who still need forgiveness and need a two-piece and just keep it straight, keep it simple. Uh there’s not a lot of golf balls like that. And I did this review of the Warbird last year, not this model, but a different Warbird. And I didn’t really care for it, but then I had a lot of members from the community come forward and say, “Hey, listen. I I really like it.” And I was like, “Okay, what’s your swing speed?” “Oh, 125.” And I’m like, “Whoa, okay.” So maybe it’s for fast swingers, and I’ve actually seen that a lot. 110, 115, 112, 105. People who swing really fast seem to like this golf ball a lot. And so we’ll see that as well. I don’t expect it to do good with the short irons or the wedges, but when we get to that driver, it should perform pretty well. And we’ll test that. And it’s nice having a golf ball like that cuz like I said, there’s not a lot of them out there that you can recommend to your fast swinging friends who are like, “Man, I’m shooting a 103 and I mean, I can swing 120 mph, but I just can’t keep it in play.” this could be a very good option for that. Okay, so let’s get into pricing. The Callaway Superfast comes in at $29.99 a dozen. Uh that is for 15 golf balls, which has always been a nice little perk. Callaway does this with the Diablo Tour as well. It’s nice to get a little bit extra. You know, $29.99 for that level of golf balls. These are not urethane, of course, but still they’re a solid p a two-piece option that basically is designed kind of like the Velocity in a way. The Tyos Velocity, it’s designed to just really go as far as possible. It’s supposed to be a rocket launcher. It’s going to have bouncy ball effect. The Hexoft comes in at $23.99 a dozen on Amazon, which again, you can get actually a two pack, I believe, for $39.99. So, it’s a little bit better value than the Super Soft, but again, it’s going to be that question of what’s the difference, right? Like, is there a difference between the two? Cuz it feels like Callaway already has this type of market cornered, but they could be slightly different. You know what I mean? And as long as there is some slight difference, it’ll work. And so, we’ll test that. But that’s a good price point. $20 a dozen if you buy two, that’s pretty good for a AAA ball. And then when it comes to the Warbird Distance Plus, you know, these come at $19.99 retail, you know, for just one box, which is really, really good. But also, they always run two for 35. So, you can basically get them for $,750 a piece. And again, you know, it’s a two-piece golf ball. It’s a distance golf ball. It’s it’s not going to be high quality materials. Uh, but that’s a good price. I mean, if you’re someone who is a fast swinger and need a decent golf ball, you know, a little two-piece just to keep it straight and keep it in the fairway, I don’t think many of you are going to mind getting two dozen for 35 bucks. That’s a really good deal again for a AAA for having Callaway on that logo. You don’t see a lot of dozens under $20 when you get the big guys involved. You know, Tidalist, Callaway, Stricken, it’s just kind of unheard of. All right, let’s get into the design options of these golf balls really quick. So, if we look at this one, this is the Superfast. You know, Callaway has that old English style font on their logo. It looks fantastic. It really just is unique and iconic for me at this point. Now, you’ll notice the hex style dimple pattern. This is something that Callaway puts a lot of marketing into. It does distinguish Callaway a little bit. I like it. All three of these golf balls are going to have that dimple style pattern, which is really cool. Now, if we come over here on the side, this is their alignment tool. What it looks like, you know, this is perfect. It’s really thick. It’s bold. It’s easy to see. This one’s all banged up, but even if I hold it up to the camera, easy to see, right? So, that’s awesome. These also do come in a matte option of red. Bold red, actually. Bold red and yellow. So, if you want matte options and high viz colors, Callaway’s got you covered there. Then we get into the hex soft and you’re looking at it. This is all they have. I mean, it’s it’s a budget Amazon ball. Again, you have the old English style font, the hex in there. Uh on the side here, this is the alignment tool. It says hex soft with it has the words in the middle. This is one where I wish they would have kept the design the same as these other two you’re about to see cuz it’s almost impossible to line your ball up. I hate how they put the words in there. But it looks cheap. It doesn’t have many options. I think some people are going to gravitate toward the super soft because again it’s a dollar more a dozen or $2, whatever, but the super soft has like legit options, you know, limited editions and the USA stars and stripes and the matte green and matte pink and the and so I think some people gravitate toward there. I wish the price was a little lower if you’re only going to offer one vanilla option, but it is what it is. We’ll see how it tests. Then we get into the Warbird and the Warbird does come in this white. It also does come in a yellow as you can see there, which is nice. At least it gives it that yellow option if you need to see the ball a little bit better. Again, old English hex style. It looks great. This has the same alignment tool as the super fast. So, if I hold it up, beautiful, simple, gets the job done. I love it. All right, guys. Let’s get out to the chipping and putting green and let’s see how these do around there. Starting with the super fast here. I don’t expect any of these balls to have a ton of bite or grip. So, we’ll just kind of go into it with no expectations and see what happens. Okay. Little bit of bass effect there, but a very firm roll to the end. It wasn’t hit perfect. So, let me try again here. There we go. Nice and crisp. Oh, yeah. No, I don’t like that at all. There’s there’s a heavy top roll like once it hits it kind of acts like it wants to check up but the the release is just all top spin. Okay, little high launch. Okay, so some bass effect again went left on me that time. So let me grab those back and let me try some face manipulation here. All right, so going to try again opening the face. Get a little higher launch. Okay, very nice. Very soft touch. Landed near the hole. So, if you open the face a lot, it does help. Um, I’m not getting much rotation or bite. So, opening the face kind of gives me a little more forgiveness. Again, very nice. There you go. Okay. So, the ball is jumping around. It has a little bit of bite. It has a little bit of rotation, but it just doesn’t have that stopping power on the release. I’m going to try to get this one to go left and see what I can do here. Oh, yeah. See, I mean, it does bend left and right. So, I mean, it has some solid rotation, but it just doesn’t have that bite or grip that a lot of you are going to look at on a tour level. Okay. Nice and soft. Way softer than I thought it would be. That golf ball did shoot to the right. I might have had the face open a little bit, so the checkup wasn’t bad there at all. Definitely better than I was expecting. Okay, caught it too much. Definitely liked the click. Just didn’t see any rotation on the ball. Let’s try one more time here again. and going to open the face. Okay, nice. Yeah, that’s about what I expected. That was a pure strike. And I mean, it had a very firm release. Let’s run it back. Not bad. Again, it does have a very, very firm release toward the hole, but it’s it’s pretty forgiving. One of the big things I’m noticing is there’s not a golf ball that has a distinguishable feel. They all feel in that in between very soft and soft range. Like they’re all very soft off the club. There’s no feedback. Uh soundwise, the Warbird did have a crisp click. It was very light, but I mean they’re they’re all pretty close. I mean, the Callaway has done a good job of trying to just make everything feel pretty universal. Yeah. I mean, just super super soft. Again, caught a little too much of it, but there’s just no rotation on that ball. All right, so Callaway super fast is what we’re starting with first. mallet putter. Let’s see what we’re working with here. Okay, little click. I heard it. Roll was pretty good. Nine out of 10. Not bad at all. Yep, I definitely hear the click. I feel minimal feedback. That’s nice. That’s not bad at all. Yeah, very solid. Very consistent. I’m getting some confidence already. I’ve only hit three and I’m like, “Yeah, I can putt that.” Absolutely. Now going into the Warbird. Let’s see if this one’s any different. Traditionally, these have been a little firmer, but the wedge kind of proved otherwise. So, let’s see. Okay, I heard the click there. A little bit of chug effect right off the bat, and I thought that was a good strike. So, let me try one more time here and verify that. We’ll validate the parking. Yeah, chug effect. It’s there. Got in the hole, but it’s it’s definitely there. So, I’m going to put a description of chug effect. A lot of you ask all the time. That’s what it is. Uh just so you can see it. Yeah, it’s definitely there. So, it feels about the same as the previous one as far as the super fast. Everything feels the sound, the roll, all that’s still there, but it just there’s the chug effect now. I’m watching it kind of spring off and kind of chug and that’s different because the war bird usually was more I don’t want to say tour tolike, but because it was firmer, it came off the putter a little bit more toward that side of the spectrum. So, definitely interesting. Now, we’re going to the hex soft. Let’s see how this one is. Oh, like a bouncy ball basically. I mean, just like hitting a bouncy ball out of the 25 cent vending machine. Yeah, that first one had no feedback in the hands whatsoever. No sound. Let’s try again. Oh, yeah. No, no feedback. Uh, completely dead. Now, the roll is actually pretty good. There’s no chug effect here, but I mean it it’s like hitting nothing. If I closed my eyes, I don’t even know if I’d be able to tell. In fact, I’m going to test that actually. Yeah. No, I can’t feel it at all. You got to be kidding me. You got to be kidding me. Maybe I should p with my eyes closed all the time. Dear Lord. All right. Now, we got the traditional blade putter. So, this one will probably have a little more feedback. Let’s see what we’re working with here. Oh, okay. I felt the crisp. I heard the sound. felt the feedback on that one. So now now we’re getting a little bit more here. Yeah. So I really do like that. Um you know, now that we have a much skinnier blade putter, I’m feeling the feedback more and it’s there. It’s still all very soft on the soft spectrum. Don’t expect it to be torallike. Uh but it’s not bad. I can definitely feel it now. I can hear it now. So if you have a blade putter, it will work if you like a little bit of feedback. Yeah. Nice. Just terrible putting by me. The chug is there again. Was that me? We’ll do it again. No, it’s there, guys. It’s It’s there. That’s That’s It’s been a while since I’ve seen a really bad case of the chug effect. That’s the chug effect. That’s really bad. Um it doesn’t feel bad. It It has a good roll once it gets past that chug, but hearing it, seeing it, the inconsistent roll, it’s not my cup of tea. I’m not a big fan. Yeah. Yeah. We’re done with that one. Okay. So, very light click. Man, my putting sucks today. Uh, very light click, light feedback, but it’s it’s nice. It still had a really good roll, which I like. Okay, little bit of chug there. Everything seems to be going left on me now. I think that’s why I’ve been overcompensating and hitting too far right. Well, better, but you got to get it there, dummy. Um, yeah, a similar thing, you know. I mean, that golf ball with the mallet was dead. You couldn’t feel it at all. Now, I do slightly slightly feel it, but the Hex Soft is the softest of the three. That’s for people who don’t like feedback, don’t really want any crisp or butter or any of that. They just want like basically a bouncy ball, you know, bouncy ball 2.0. Uh, the super fast on the other end of that, you know, solid performance, no issues there. The Warbird is a little disappointing because the chug effect is really bad. There’s not a consistent roll there. I’m I’m constantly, especially with the mallet putter, that’s where it was the worst. So, little disappointing there. Let’s get over to the sound and feel test and let’s see how it does there. It is a little firmer than I remember the old one being. Now, this has been a few years ago, so bear with me. It might not, but it’s a little firmer. But I’ll tell you what, it explodes off the club. I mean, you really feel when you watch that golf ball come off the club, it it’s in a blink. If you blink, you’ll miss it. It’s It’s insane how much power is coming off of I imagine we’re going to see some pretty good ball speed and pretty good distances from that when we go inside. Just a guess, but that’s nice. All right, I’m going to try to hit one off the toe here to see how it feels on m hits. Oh, yeah. Okay, not great there. Um, I would call the mishit feel a two out of five. It’s very firm. I would call the pure hit a four out of five. It’s pretty good, but when you start to misit it, you do feel it in the hands quite a bit. And, uh, it didn’t feel like the ball came off with as much explosiveness. I I wonder if the forgiveness factor is going to be affected by that. We’ll check that in a moment. Okay, so that was a very slight mit and I felt it quite a bit in the hands. Not happy with that at all. But again, like I said, this has traditionally been a firmer ball. It’s been for very fast swingers who need a two-piece. So that makes sense. But let me try hitting it off the toe here. Ow. Yeah. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Two out of five again on the uh on the mishit feel. The pure is a four out of five, but after hitting like 10 shots, I only felt that a couple times. So, you have to hit it pure. If it’s not pure and it’s a little bit left and right, you’re going to feel a little stinging in the hand. So, faster swingers is probably where this golf ball is aimed at. But again, we’ll test that. Okay. So, that’s my That’s a mit right off the bat. I pulled my hat up too soon. Um, three out of five if that holds. So, that’s not bad for mishit. Oh, man. Just Yeah. Beautiful. Really explosive. Nice high mid- high launch. I loved that. Let’s run it back. try to slow down the swing a little bit. Yeah, really. Yeah. Again, a four out of five. Again, consistent across the board there. They all actually feel decently somewhat in the ballpark as far as when they come off pure hits. Um, I think the Hexoft on the M hits is a three out of five, which is pretty nice. But overall, I mean, yeah, they’re all solid. You know what I mean? Consistency is key, and Callaway did a great job there. All right, let’s talk some data numbers now. backspin RPM. Of course, this is with a 58 degree wedge and we are looking at 8,161, 8,236, 7,513. Uh launch angles, you know, the Hexoft and the Warird distance were the same. And the Superfast actually kind of a little low there. Kind of a low penetrating flight, which is kind of nice. Now, I will say this, I am very, very surprised by the Superfast. The superfast has traditionally always been a low low spin golf ball because it’s designed, like I said, just to go as far as humanly possible and just be a rocket launcher off the club. The fact that you can get above average spin over 8,000 with it, I’m tickled pink. I I would have I I would have guessed. I mean, if it had been 7500, 7,600, I would have been like, “Okay, that’s acceptable.” So, it it goes above and beyond. Same thing with the Hexoft two-piece cheap 8,200. I love it. I love to see that. And then the Warboard Distance Plus, like I said, it’s been designed to be a faster swinger, you know, more low spin distance golf ball for guys who just swing and rip the club like John Dailyaly. Well, as you can see, 7,513 kind of matches that. So, all three of these golf balls actually did better than I thought they would. I mean, I know the 7500 is below average, but I was actually expecting a little lower than that. And so, we’re off to a great start. All these are above what my expectations were, and especially the super fast. I’m really excited about that now. So, now let’s get into pitching wedge and see how these numbers are there. All right, so looking at these three golf balls, we’ll start with the ball speed. 97.4 and 97 are awesome. I love to see that, especially when you look at the swing speeds. Uh, when we get to the War Bird, unfortunately, I did swing a little fast and you can tell by the smash factor down there, 1.20. Just not that great. You know, the 96 initially looks good. the 124 and the 125, you know, distance look great, but when you realize how fast I was swinging and when you realize how low the spin is, you know, those numbers unfortunately are just kind of average and it’s really there’s a lot of red there. So that that’s kind of common. I’m not worried about that. We’ll talk about that in a second. But the Hexoft on the other hand, you know, really decent spin, very very close to being in the yellow. Very close. So just keep that in mind. It’s close to being in the yellow. Has a really respectable launch there. green, green, green as far as the eye can see. Some really great ball speed as well, despite the fact it would be an ultra soft. Then you get into the super fast. And yes, that has low spin, but that’s to be expected. And then look at the distance. I mean, just an absolute rocket off the club like I would expect. 97.4 ball speed. I’d love to see it. Uh really the super fast and the hexoft are two great performances there. Um, sure. I mean, the only thing that would have made them perfect and been like a little cherry on top would have been maybe just a tad more spin, a little closer to 7,000, but the reality is that’s still two great performances. So, the spin numbers could have been a little higher, but the reality is they’re still going to stop on the green. Maybe just not as well as some, you know, tour level golf balls or maybe some of the highest spinning ones I’ve seen, but they’ll still stop on the green. And I love the increased distance. I love the smash factor. Like I said, the feel was awesome. Uh, it’s a really great performance with a pitching wedge. I was a little disappointed in the Warbird, but again, that’s kind of my expectation because when you have a golf ball that’s four fast swingers, usually the wedges suffer. The wedges just don’t come off with as much pop. I don’t see as much bouncy ball effect and I usually end up losing a little bit of yards. That’s kind of the case there. And the spin was dangerously It’s getting in that dangerously low kind of level. You know, 6400 is okay. Is it going to stop on the green? Yeah, at the back of it, you know, but it’s okay. So again, with the Warbird, I’m really banking on 7ir driver. Those two are going to be really important to see how it compresses. So let’s go ahead and get into the seven iron now and let’s check that one. So the seven iron is where these golf balls kind of start to separate a little bit. And as you can see from the super fast, it does everything that you know we talked about. Amazing ball speed in the green. The distance 168.4, I don’t see that a lot. 1.38 on the smash factor. I don’t see that a lot either. Just incredible. low mid-flight which is kind of nice because it’s working in its favor. It’s pretty optimal. Then you get into the hexoft and everything is kind of goldilocks. It’s right there in the middle. Smash factor was just one point lower than average but still average ball speed, average spin, nice midlaunch, average distance. That’s perfect. That’s exactly where I would want that golf ball to be. You know, you don’t need to try to, you know, be specific in what you’re doing like the super fast. The superfast is trying to be low spin and, you know, instead the hexoft is just trying to be in the middle of everything and it does a great job of it. When we get into the Warbird, I mean, I’ll be real. I was hoping for a little bit better ball speed. I was hoping the golf ball would start compressing a little bit better, but that’s kind of the issue I’ve had in the past when I reviewed the Warbird, too. Lost distance, not a great smash factor, low low launch. Uh, boy, that’s a red flag for fast swingers if I’ve ever seen one. But I will admit, when it came to the spin, it has the most spin of the three. So, it actually does have a little bit of stopping power. So, really, we’re just going to have to pay attention on the driver with the Warbird. So once again, the Superfast really is impressing me. I absolutely love the smash factor. I love the increased distance. Now, the spin was low, but I’ve talked about it. It’s supposed to be when you get to the mid irons, when you get to the driver, that’s what this golf ball is intended for. And so, I don’t mind that. It’s going to be hard to hold a green. But that was kind of the main concern with the test two years ago when I did the Superfast was everyone, you know, in the community was like, “Man, this thing’s a rocket launcher, but it just doesn’t hold the green as well.” We’re kind of seeing that here. So, I did get the increased distance, which was nice. The pop off the club is nothing to shake a stick at, but it just is going to have a little bit of trouble holding a green here and there. I think if you’re someone who hits a natural fade, it might be a little bit better. My natural draw, I’m not going to be holding many greens, unfortunately, with it, but I’ll be gaining distance. The Hexoft does just fine, but really what I want to talk about is the Warbird there. So, the Warbird I didn’t get much in distance. I didn’t get much in ball speed. I’m still not compressing it very well, but the spin number was pretty good. So, the distance you can kind of forgive a little bit just because the spin number was so much higher, especially compared to the other two. Uh, but still, it just doesn’t have that pop. You can tell it’s a little firmer. Uh, the driver is really going to be the make or break with the War Bird to see if it’s even worth anyone’s time anymore. Uh, but I I wish it had been a little bit better with the seven, at least average, you know, but we’ll see. So, let’s get into the driver. Let’s see how these numbers are. So, when it comes to the driver, as you can see, we had a little switch up. the Hexoft and the Warbird completely switch square dance style, but we’ll get to that in just a second. If we start with the super fast, the ball speed’s just incredible like it has been. 233.1 is a fantastic distance number and then 242.8 is great on the roll out. 1.47, love that for the smash factor. Really, what hurt the super fast and and capped its potential was that low low launch. 14.7 just will not work with my swing style and my swing speed. I have seen my numbers thrive this year from 17 to 18 on my launch. And so if it had been a little bit higher, I think there was a chance I could have got to around 240 carry. Little disappointing in that regard, but you know what? It’s still all in the green. I’m not going to complain. I think this golf ball has some serious potential as far as its ceiling when it comes to the driver. Then we get into the hexoft. As you can see, it’s all red, and that’s really unfortunate. But here’s the reality. When you are a midfast to fast swinger, this is what a lot of, you know, pros will warn you about. You don’t want to play a really low compression golf ball. There are low compression golf balls that are the exemption to the rule like the Precept Latty Extreme. It’s 35 compression, but it’s a rocket launcher off the driver. It really is. Even for my swing speed, but some golf balls, like the Hexoft here, you can lose 11 yards, which is what I did. I lost 11 yards from the super fast. Uh when it comes to total distance, that’s also 11 yards. Smash factors the worst I’ve seen. Spins a little too high. Ball speeds below 140. That’s just uh pitiful, unfortunately. And it’s not because the Hexoff’s a bad golf ball. It’s just because it’s for slow swingers. And once I got to this point, it was like a marshmallow. I was basically hitting it and it felt like nothing. It felt dead. Then we get into the Warird Distance Plus, and this is what I was really hoping on. I was really hoping on the Warird to come through, have some really good numbers. Now that I’m actually swinging a lot faster, I’m using a driver now. It’s compressing a little bit better. I’m feeling that pop off the club. And look at the numbers. They’re great. I love the 16 launch angle. It’s just slightly lower than average. 2000. I love the low spin, great ball speed, great total roll out. Even the smash factor was above average, so I love to see that. Yeah, there we go. That’s what I thought. So, the driver is what really separates the golf balls into their categories now. Uh the super fast just continues to do really well. It was the best of the three for sure. U it was the best of the three on the seven iron. It was the best of the three on the pitching wedge. It was the second best on the spin. I mean, the Superf Fast is a legit golf ball, and it still is. Now, it is for a specific type of golfer. We’ll touch more on that in a minute, but it does, if you actually fit in that mold that it’s for, man, this thing’s awesome. I’m glad they kept it around. So, I want to talk about accuracy, dispersion. Let’s go ahead and go over to the computer and let’s look at those charts. So, I will admit when it comes to golf balls like the Superfast that are have more of that bouncy ball effect, I I do get nervous on the distance dispersion. When we look at the 50-yard pitch, there’s a little bit of that in there, but overall it’s still really accurate. Pitching wedge all over. When it comes to distance dispersion, I caught one a little too hot. A couple of them were a little too short, but that circle as a whole was really consistent, and I’m happy with it. Then we get into the seven iron. And the seven iron does have that far one all the way to the right. But if you take away those two pushes I had, there’s a lot in there. Eight out of 10 that is just really tight. especially with the seven iron. I haven’t seen a lot of great seven iron stuff lately and that makes me happy. Then we get into the driver and you know what? It’s not perfect, but all of those are pretty much either in the fairway or pretty darn close to it. So, I don’t see anything here that’s eyepopping. I don’t see anything here that’s like, wow, that’s going to, you know, break some records. That’s going to be talked about in the golf ball addict awards at the end of the year. But, it’s solid. It gets the job done. It definitely gets a thumbs up for me. So, we kind of have a mixed bag here, and that’s okay. When we look at the 50 yard pitch, it’s respectable. It’s not perfectly accurate down the line, but it definitely gets the job done for sure. When we get into the pitching wedge though, check that out. The six right there in the middle, it looks just like if you’ve ever played billiards, you know, the pool balls racked up when you start. That’s what it looks like in the middle there. That’s awesome. I I’ve never seen that before. So, that kind of makes me giddy. Getting into the seven iron, although the accuracy isn’t great, the distance control is incredible. Everything is right there basically within five yards of each other. So that’s excellent as far as control and keeping your dispersion on distance down. I just wish the accuracy had been a little bit better. Then when we get to the driver, I got to be honest with you, I’m not sure what’s going on there. I started putting a fade on my driver all of a sudden. And as far as, you know, it’s long, it’s short, it’s uh it’s just kind of all over. And I really expected more. You know, if you’re going to sacrifice that distance that I lost, I would expect there to be some consistency. So kind of disappointing. All right. And now this is definitely the definition of get it right, get it tight, because the Warb bird here, this is really impressive. Now, I mentioned it earlier in the video, but I talked about how, you know, there’s a lot of fast swingers who need a golf ball that just kind of keeps it straight. You know, there’s not a lot of bendability, it keeps it straight, keeps it in the fairway, add a little bit of forgiveness on that left and right, this is what this does. So, if you’re someone who’s a fast swinger and you’re struggling with out of bounds, you know, you slice the ball a little too much, you hook the ball a little too much, whatever, and you’re just trying to keep in play, this is an excellent option for you. You know, you look at the 50-yard pitch, you look at the pitching wedge, you look at the seven iron, there are little tiny sub circles, if you will, that are just super impressive, and I I love that. This is a very, very accurate ball and I think it’s going to help a lot of people shave some strokes off by eliminating penalties. Okay, last but not least, before the conclusion, we have durability. Now, this is where I get a little sad because the Superfast has been pretty incredible through this whole process. I’ve loved it, but this was kind of the issue before. And let’s look at this durability. Yeah. So, I mean, as you can see there, the Callaway logo on the front is pretty beat up. Uh there’s scrapes, there’s scuffs. Look at the alignment tool. Look at all the paint missing. Like, you can barely even read what it is anymore. Uh you come around on the other side here, and it’s not so bad, but this is also the side I didn’t hit. So, I mean, I I cuz I have a metallic dot on it. So, you know, this is a four out of 10, unfortunately. It really is. And that’s just because not only is it damaged, you know, uh, with the cover where I don’t trust it putting or flying, also cosmetically the pain. And I mean, you can barely even tell what it is anymore. And it just, it’s rough. It really is. And so, if you’re someone who is losing golf balls a little more frequently, it might not bother you as much. But if you’re someone who plays with one golf ball for two or three rounds, you’re going to be a little disappointed. When it comes to the Hex Soft, on the other hand, looking at it, uh there’s a couple little scrapes here and there. You know, this is a a cheaper Amazon ball, if you want to call it that, or put it in that type of realm, you know. Uh but you know what? It’s not bad. It does have a scrape in there and a scuff there. You know, if I feel the golf ball, it actually feels pretty decent. Um I’m going to go ahead and give it the 6 out of 10. It’s close to a seven out of 10. This is something that could last you the full round for sure. I think most people who are buying this golf ball probably are at least losing one or two a round at minimum. So, I don’t think it’ll bother you, but um it’s it’s slightly above average, just slightly, but it it’s close to that seven out of 10, so it gets the job done. Then we have the Warbird. And this is where I can actually put a smile on my face and get excited because this looks great. I mean, this is the golf ball I tested 90 shots with this bad boy. Now, you can see here there’s a little bit of discoloration, but that’s the side I hit the golf ball from. You know, the other side is the one with the metallic dot. If we look on the sides here, just kind of around it, it looks shiny. It looks pristine. I mean, it looks like it’s on the showroom floor. I mean, that is absolutely incredible. The big question is going to be the feel because right now it’s a nine out of 10. I’m going to feel it. It could be a 10 out of 10. You know what? I’m going to give it the 10 out of 10. I I’m feeling this golf ball. I don’t feel any scuffs. I don’t feel anything. I would trust it putting. I would trust it a whole round. I I got to give it the 10. I really do. That’s phenomenal. So that’s great, you know, to b to pay $,750 a dozen if you buy two and to get that level of it. I’m impressed. Okay, so who are these golf balls for? Well, the super fast, like I said, is a rocket launcher. It’s phenomenal when it comes to ball speed, distance. Uh it actually has some checkup on the 50-yard pitch. I was very surprised. Where most golfers will start to see a difference that could turn them off is going to be when you get to the long irons, mid irons, you know, woods, all that stuff. It’s a low low spinning golf ball. It’s not designed to grip the green. If you play on shorter courses, if you play on, you know, tighter greens, it could become an issue where you roll to the back. Now, some of you might play on big championship courses where the greens are nice and big and you have all this room to work with. You’re not going to notice a difference. That’s fine. I mean, you can absolutely play with that golf ball and have no issue. Just aim a little bit more in front of the flag. But other than that, you’re going to actually have a lot of fun hitting this thing. It just explodes off the club. You saw the numbers. You saw what they were. It’s a distance golf ball and it does that really well. Then we have the Hexoft. The Hexoft’s a little weird because it it’s a lot like the Super Soft a little bit except the Super Soft is better in pretty much almost every single category except for the fact that I do believe this is going to be for your slow slow swingers. I think that someone who is a 75 to 80 mph swing speed, I think they’re going to see a little bit more pop off the club with this one than maybe the super soft. That’s a guess. I don’t know. But to me, I think that nine out of ten, eight out of ten golfers between this and the super soft should just go with the super soft. I don’t see too much of a difference. And I don’t know that many people who are that slow of a swinger. But again, it’s from Amazon. It’s easy. You order it at your door in 2 days. Of course, the problem with that is you can do that with super soft also. I’m running out of ways to make this sound good. I’m sorry, guys. Um, it is what it is. It’s very, very soft. And the Warbird actually gets to keep its title. You know, it really does. And when I say title, I just mean title kind of king of the the two-piece distance golf balls, right? There’s not a lot of these. I mentioned it. I like the fact that when you when people come to me and say, “Nick, I I swing 110 mph, but I just I’m out of bounds three or four times a round. I’m out of bounds almost every hole.” This is an option you can use that you’re not going to lose a lot of money. You’re still going to be able to get maximum distance. You’re still going to be able to get maximum compression, but you don’t have to sacrifice $4 a golf ball. And so that’s where this golf ball, it’s it’s niche, right? It comes in. It doesn’t have a big market. There’s not a lot of you who swing that fast, especially that are that high of handicap. But the ones that are out there, and you guys are out there, I know you are cuz you email me. This is a golf ball for you. And I love that. And there’s not a lot of them. So Callaway really took a niche market that has almost no golf balls for, you know, that type of golfer. And they have a pretty darn good one here. I love the durability. They being able to get that type of durability out of a low, low cost like that. Excellent. So guys, kind of cool golf ball for a variety of different golfers. Did a little triple review. I hope you learned something. As always, keep watching, keep saving, keep learning. Thank you so much for being here. I’ll see you soon.

On my preconceived thoughts, the Hex Soft would be the ball for me. The driver results failed. Precept Laddie still the best.
Love the channel. Kept it up
When e.r.c.???
Hi Nick greetings from another Nick from the other side of the pond in the Netherlands.
just want to say love the channel keep up the good work.
Thanks for the tip on the Wilson Boost I bought them in the US when I was there and I love them
Small question are you going to test the pinnacle distance or are they similar to the pinnacle Rush
Great review loving the three ball format
I play a lot of different Callaway balls and the Hex Soft are surprisingly really good for me. Normally, I play the Supersoft or Max balls. Not a huge fan of the Warbird or Chrome Tour’s.
SuperFast is so frustrating-never had so many 35-50 foot putts in a round.
Hex is too soft for me, but Warbird is awesome for my swing speed at 100mph.
If I find lost balls on the course, there’s a good chance they are Callaway.
Awesome and love the new concepts would love a taylormade at this range as well
Hey you suck!!….. HAHA j/k Love the channel man
Thumbs up
I picked up a dozen Wilson Boost balls at your recommendation. Haven't gamed them yet, but I have been using them for chipping and putting at the University of Georgia course and another local course with a decent practice facility over the past few days. So far I'm impressed. Not the spinniest ball from green side, but my putter absolutely loves these balls. Looking forward to blasting one off the tee this weekend.
Dang, they have as many balls as Wilson! Thanks Nick
dude, I genuinely enjoy your videos and watch in my free time. Keep it up, great personality, great reviews, all good stuff
Hey man, love the channel. If you include the Callaway Diablo, which ball would you recommend?
Driver speed 105-110 (depending on my back feels). Trying to break 100. Lose 3-5 balls per round. I lose most strokes on short game.
You did it! You switched the dispersion chart. My eyes thank you.
Hey you suck…jk…did it for the algorithm. Love what you do, the knowledge I’ve gleamed about golf balls is immeasurable.
I played the hex tour a few rounds this year. Really enjoyed it.
I’m here for the algorithm! Love the channel! Wonder how the Warbird and Drive golf balls would compare.
Hey man, love the channel.
Hey man love the channel
Question: 125.4 in War bird PW distance in yellow; 125.2 in Hex Soft distance in green…..help me understand…..
I really don't want to game a big name brand, but I don't think I can ignore the Warbird any longer. I'm gonna have to give it a go in October when I do my annual golf trip to AZ.
