so we’ve got a bumper of a video for you today we’ve got Pure out head-to-head comparison with three of the huge brands for 2025 we’ve got Callaway Elite Titus GT and tailor made Qi 35 let’s see which one comes out on [Music] top right okay so this is going to be a cracker of the video with these big Brands so we’ve got titless GT2 tail made Qi 35 the standard head and then the Callaway Elite again in their standard head so all in a similar sort of area what they’re trying to do a little bit of adjustability as we know with a lot of these drivers I’m going to use exactly the same shaft same Flex same length and exactly same grip and they’re all 9° heads so this is going to be as equal as we can get it on this particular test we’re going to hit three with each shot and then jump straight into another one and mix it up a little bit so we’re not getting in too much of a run with the same driver to give it a real equal test okay we’re going to start off with the tailor made Qi 35 this is the standard head as we mentioned so we’ve got the two movable weights uh we’ve got uh 13 G sorry and a three G so I’ve got 13 g at the back the tail the Callaway obviously has the weight at the back and so does the uh GT2 so I’m going to keep it as similar as I possibly can now obviously with the tailor made I always feel it’s quite a big footprint this definitely a very confid inspiring head down by that golf B and very striking gray carbon effect on the top which does look very very PR nice little bit off the bottom but beautifully straight I think from the initial launches of the new drivers you know I think tmade has definitely pulled a lot of golfers in what we’ve seen anyway just I think just purely because of the look and the Striking look of the of that gray carbon both the sole and the crown okay that was a nice strike just working a bit up that left hand side but really good flight great connection great sound very solid feeling golf club with the tailor made again good solid hit okay so there’s three let’s move on right so moving now into GT2 so obviously this launched in 2024 August September time but obviously tis run on more of an 18mon two years sort of cycle so this will stay throughout the whole of 2025 so obviously it’s more of a current drive up against the other ones GT2 beautiful look it’s a classic tightly driver into it we’ve seen some great numbers with TSR versions and we’ve definitely seen that carry on into the GT lineup so it’s again exactly the same shaft grip length Flex 9° head great look from the tight list oh there’s a solid sound feel that we rowned with titless that looks to be in the air for quite a long time there to be honest got a good launch for that to be fair great spin there’s a little bit more of that extra carry good smash 140 and that’s something we’ve seen consistently with tightness is the smash numbers even on the misses are generally pretty high so ball speed across the face is really good okay there’s a little bit low in the face it’s straight it’s Fairway finder that might just drop off a little bit of speed potentially but look at that smash number again that’s the one I want you to look at with Titus drive it’s always consistently pretty high on those low hits as well so 149 smash great spin hasn’t shot up massively from that low strike launch has obviously come down we are going to lose a little bit of carry because the launch has come down but it’s still a pretty good miss so I say GT’s been out since last uh last year and will continue throughout 2025 so post comments have you got GT uh line up in your bag how are you getting on with it great looking Club very classic looking club and for me arguably one of the best sound and feeling golf drivers I would say on the [Music] market oh that’s solid that’s an absolute brute of a drive don’t want that one back splitting that Fairway yeah some great solid numbers to back that up okay let’s now move into the Callaway right so Callaway Elite this is the standard Elite obviously do some other models as we do with the other brands that we’ve just tried there we’ve got movable weight in the back we’ve got three sections so draw fade and neutral it’s a 13 G weight I’m going to leave that in the neutral position and then we’ve got this fixed two G weight it is at the front of the driver so 9° again exactly same shaft length grip and Elite looks great down by that golf ball you know more of a matte finish now on that Carbon on the top with that sort of satin darker black edging around the front does look good just the small Elite logo on the inside of the heel okay that’s a touch low bit like a hit with that tight list to be honest that’ be quite a light for light with that tight list there again good smash Str out 148 and again nice control spin that low hit again launch is low losing a little bit of that carry distance I think that’s a big talking point with a lot of the drivers and not just these three but all the brands really you know forgiveness it’s always a talking point isn’t it nowadays you know we see AI faces we see you know weight positionings flexing of the face and all that sort of stuff and obviously got the carbon reposition of the weight in the head to help with that sort of CG location so there’s a lot of work around these heads in terms of where they’re going to get that Optimum and making your M hits better it’s about right again that’s very solid muted sort of sound to that you know with that carbon just that tiny bit on the right there for a change but the spin’s great launch is good oh getting a little bit botton but that flight is fantastic really good ball flight on that yeah spin’s just crept a little bit that slight low strike but again it’s it’s down that Fairway so great miss ability again it’s a huge talking point with the elite okay I’m going to spin through three shots more with each of the brands and then we’ll have a look up for some numbers from there okay so let’s move back into the tailor Bay now for another set of [Music] three now back into the [Music] GT2 so another three with the Callaway Elite [Music] okay so just before we move into a final set of three with each of these drivers let’s just compare the looks of these as we put them down uh in that sort of playing position and I think for me you know if I’m going to choose a goodlooking driver and appreciate this is a personal choice isn’t it what you think is a nice looking Golf Club I mean I really do like the Striking of the tail made that light gray carbon it does look very stunning I think this the way it’s draw a lot of golfers to it just purely on the looks of it but in terms of the shape and the head how it sort of sits I think the GT for me definitely wins it there all very nice looking drivers in their own sort of way in it right so back into the final three with the tailor made Qi [Music] 35 that’s a great strike to finish up there with the tailor mean let’s jump into the GT2 for the final three shots [Music] and then finally the last three with the Callaway [Music] later okay so there’s nine shots with each of those drivers I think these results are going to be quite interesting so let’s go and check them out in more detail right so let’s quickly look at dispersion first cuz obviously dispersion is quite important to be honest there’s nothing splitting these at all maybe start to see the tailor made just being slightly on that shorter side in comparison maybe the uh callow and the and the and the Titus is sort of just a little bit longer on that sort of average but left to right dispersion I mean it’s a bit of a there’s a bit of a right Miss there’s a bit of a left Miss there I’m just make a couple little tweaks in my swing actually just try to reduce my left Miss so that’s where I’m just opening up a little bit more that right Miss than what I would normally do okay I’m just going to throw up some averages here from those nine shots with each of the D and you can see the Tade highlighted here which highlights the strip pattern cuz obviously that’s really important to looking at maybe ball speed launch and spin of the golf ball so you can see there’s my strip pattern there I did catch a few a little bit low with the tailor made I must admit and it did look a little bit stly in the air which is where that sort of spins around that sort of 3,000 Mark so just dropping off a little bit launch a touch lower maybe because some slightly low strikes and has pull that average down a little bit and a smash at 145 we then move into the tight so the GT2 you can see strip pattern just slightly moves up the club face and a little bit more towards that toe so that’s probably where that little bit of launch is going to come from there a little bit slow on that club Ed speed actually uh ball speed wise there but you can see smash some relation relationship between club and ball speed you can see he’s really good at 148 I did say that before we tend to see some really high smash numbers so ball speed Wise from a club speed really good with the titless lineup 12 launch 23 spin that obviously is going to get me a little bit more carry there at 268 as an average 292 run out and then moving finally into the elite so very similar Club head speed at 108. 6 ball speed very very similar and you can see that strip patter just moved ever so slightly down couple slight in that heel again the launch has just pulled a little bit but the spin was nicely controlled there so and I definitely saw that it was like quite a flattish sort of flight on that particular driver um so 263 uh Smasher 147 so maybe distance-wise we’re looking at the titless and maybe just more through that St right pattern to be honest but I know um in terms of a feel and a sound I think the Titus is definitely a winner for me on that front and maybe just those little edges of uh launch and the spin just giving me that little bit more distance than the others and obviously you know I can appreciate I can move that weights around and that Tailor Made Driver to get that spin down but I want to put the weight at the back as it is with the other two drivers to keep that as equal as we can on that particular test post comments down below let me know your thoughts are you going tail made Callaway or titless for 2025 I’d love to to hear your thoughts as always and hopefully we’ll catch you all very soon

I’ve always been able to hit Callaway drivers good. I just picked up a Elyte Tripe Diamond 9 degree. Put my Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana shaft in it.
Callaway
Nice review thanks. Probably the best reviewer on You Tube.
I've played with all 3, I actually preferred the Qi35. Have also tested the Ping 440 and Srixon ZXi. For me these were the best performing I could play either. The Srixon ZXi is actually a really good driver. The LS Srixon is awful but the ZXi is impressive although largely ignored on you tube. I will most likely settle of the 440 LST.
Had a G430 max 10k. Got fitted into a GT2 with a synyster shaft. Averaged 15 yards more of carry and 5 more mph of ball speed. GT2 is a much better looking driver. I hit the new callaway and taylormade also. I saw similar results as the video. Cheers.
In the last five years, every driver hit averages 262 – 278 yards. The new ones have a lovely face,l lift , but No !!! The new ones are not worth $900.00 Canadian. For that kind of money, I should be able to drive 300 yards +. No, thank you, but thank you for the review!!!!
I’m playing GT2. Had an M1 Taylormade before. Huge difference in distance and getting much more out of the GT2.
Well done. Think we need a wool sweater for your testing. Lol
In dispersion chart, which is what?
For the aesthetic “feel” and sound, I will pick the GT2. For pure light metal sound, I love XXIO X Black. But it is hard to fit it with premium shaft.
so the shaft doesn't go well with the qi35? because the club head speed is there, but the ball is just spinning to much. could see that driver perform the best with right setup
Gonna stick with my G400 max as I very much doubt anything new will be significantly better. If I had to choose between those 3 I would definitely go with the GT.
Titleist, all day every day…twice on Sunday! 😎
GT2
I was fitted for a GT2 and it is easily the best driver I’ve ever used. Long and an absolute fairway finder.
Great review. GT2 for me!
Don't give a dam about smash spin or angle of attack how about just giving distance
Always try to just be yourself. But if you can't – by all means try to be Michael Newton…! 😆😆
I think you should have tested the Taylormade with the weight in the front. The other 2 don't have that ability but the Taylormade does
Michael, when you tested the Callaway Big Berth B21 driver four years ago you had an average carry of 298 yards and a total distance of 334 yards with average spin at 2160. This means that the carry distance of the B21 driver was longer than the total distance of the 2025 drivers and around 40 yards longer total distance.
Can you explain the discrepancy. Has the 2025 drivers sacrificed distance over forgiveness or was the Big Bertha B21 a remarkably outstanding driver. I know your swing speed has dropped slightly but not enough to explain these results.
I got fitted into the GT2 which was a bit of a surprise for me as previously I struggled with Titleist drivers. I couldn’t hit a bad shot with it and the clubhead speed was a couple of miles faster. The closest one was actually the Cobra Darkspeed, they did not have the new one yet. Ping G440 was significantly shorter.
You Should test the cobra driver and compare those numbers to those 3
Great video. Please compare Ping G440 vs others.
People don’t realize it’s ALL about the shafts.
Nothing beats my epic speed triple diamond LS 9*
Just brought the GT2 what a driver
Why did you use Gt2 to compare instead of gt3?
i ended up ordering a Qi10 Max driver cause i got it brand new for 480 Canadian which is about 338 US so couldn't pass the deal up i usually purchase my drivers one year behind and save the 300 – 400 canadian but i still have trouble not wanting the new shiny drivers when they first come out but I am learning LOL great review by the way cheers all from Canada
Really nice job Micheael. Would love to see the G440 compared to something maybe the Srixon Zxi or Titleist GT
My last TM driver is the Sim max 2. I have a Callaway epic flash and a Paradym.
Currently in the gt2 and absolutely love it! +2 handicap and on the few miss strikes I’ve had you can tell how great this driver is and how forgiving it truly is.
Tested the qi35 and is 20y shorter than my stealth. 👎🏻
Hit them all in a driver fitting to test. Elyte was terrible for me. GT2 was good but the qi35 was a monster. Very impressed
I just saw ur m3 vs m4 video 7 years ago you hit that m3 314 and 315.😮 I'll keep my m3 😊
The last thing on my mind when I’m playing is what does the club look like.
Wish Ping was in this comparison. All the biggies head to head.
That said i am looking Titleist based on all reviews.
I really don’t like the shiny top on the Callaway but have heard great things about it
Changed from gt3 to tm qi35 with weight moved forward and ifs a beast for me gained distance , i always get fitted for all my clubs and i wont change if theres no improvement , fitting matters
I just got fitted for new woods for the first time in 12 years. I tried the Qi35 (all versions), Titleist GT2, and Ping G440. The Qi35 Max is the one that fit my game the most. When it comes to all of these brands and models….GET FITTED. Your game is different than mine and definitely different than Mike's. There isn't a magical brand and model.
triple diamond woulda been closer comparison even tho it's "lowest spin"
Qi35 user here, absolutely LOVE this club!
0:48 about time, someone on YouTube in the review space used all the same parameters for each club. So many pointless reviews out there with people reviewing drivers with different shafts.
Updating my TM – RBZ 2012?)
I’m over 65, 6’1, 200lb, swing speed 93-98 mph. Mid Handicap.
The GT2 consistently pushed right and felt sluggish in getting through the ball.
The Qi35 gave me 20-30 more yards and was straighter. I did switch the weights around (face weighted).
The Fujikura black Stiff, gave me too low of a trajectory. (Same shafts Tried in all drivers I tested)
The Fujikura Blue w/ Velocore +6 stiff really made the difference for me.
So, yes, test what works best for you!!!
I wanted to like the GT2, to go with my T200 irons, but I have to go with what works!!
What shaft set up are you testing with? Thanks
Please put on a soft sweater with the Mic, the rustling is just too distracting
