I’m not sure how an organization founded in 1929 can count the 1860 Open Championship as a winner…

    But cool story nonetheless…

    Congrats.

Also only 1000 winners. Winning on the Tour is hard.

The fact that only 1000 separate people have won a PGA tournament is mind blowing

He is a terrific golfer, it was only a matter of time. He was rock solid all weekend. Congrats to him!

Wow, Cameron Young finally snagged the win! Congrats to him and to the TOUR for hitting 1000 unique winners. Talk about milestones!

This dude is so good. Surprised he doesn’t have 5 wins under his belt. He’s gotten some unlucky breaks and folded into late Sundays but good for him. Turning point

The only thing comparable about these two dudes is they’re holding a piece of paper with a 1 and some zeros behind it.

Becoming the tour’s 1000th unique winner is not the same as Wilt dropping 100 in a game

Wow. I’m actually pretty amazed that there have been that many.
