Imanaga, Yamamoto, Otani, Suzuki. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Show Otani steps to the plate. Comes Dodgers. Shot Imanaga versus Show Otani. 2025 Major League Baseball season about to get underway. Chopper towards second. One away. Two cut on a miss. Strike three. Chota INaga strikes out Tay Oscar Hernandez and a one two3 inning to start things off in Tokyo. It’s hit in the air to left. Ian Hap calls off Dansby Swanson makes the catch and Sha Imanaga gets out of the inning. Nothing nothing. Let’s go to the bottom of the second swing and a miss. Strike three. 1-1. Crowder to third. Shaw gobbles it up. Three outs. One, two, three inning from Shota Imanaga. It’s one to nothing Cubs. We’ll go to the bottom of the third. Those games were wild as well. And I was glad the guys got to see the Japanese culture, all the chanting for every hitter. And uh it’s a different environment than we’re used to. Very uh European footballlike. And I’m glad the guys got to see that. 22 hit well right field. Kyle Tucker first homer as a Cub. And they have the lead. It is 31. No doubter to right for number 30. You know, it’s just a matter of time and we talk about the irrelevance of spring training statistics and performance and he really scuffled throughout spring training. But the lights are on. It’s time to go and he’s going the one two out of bounds. Swanson will pick it up. And now racing at Garrett Hson. He’s got him. He’s out. What a play. Unbelievable. Gansby Swanson with a heads up play and the Cubs finish it off. Just spectacular. There was no chance to get Carol at first base. Eyes immediately go to the runner who takes the aggressive turnaround third and just spectacular work from Dansby Swanson. Oh my goodness, what a way to end a ball game. There it is. Sacramento. West Sacramento. West by God Sacramento. Carson Kelly puts a charge into one down the line and it’s gone. Kelly with his first homer as a Chicago Cub and it is 51 here in West Sacramento. Well, that is home run number three for the Cubs tonight. Getting a lot of production from Amaya. And now Carson Kelly chips in with the long ball. That’s got to feel good. Base is loaded right here. Carson Kelly the pitch. Swinging a ground ball the middle and a base hit. Has the diving Wilson. Porter is in. Here comes Pete Crow Armstrong. Kelly with two more runs batted in and the Cubs lead it 73. Now you’re talking about production from the bottom of the A’s batting order. Likewise for the Cubs, they’re getting contributions up and down the batting order here. And Carson able to find a little seam in the defense right up the middle. Carson Kelly’s had himself quite a night in the air. center field. Blade back at the track at the wall and that one is off the top of the wall and Kelly into second. It just missed getting out. Are holding things up here. They want to double check the video and make sure that ball didn’t bounce back into the field of play. It did not. It’ll be a double for Carson Kelly. Yeah. Walk, homer, two RBI single. And now this two base hit right off the top of the wall. Wow. Carson Kelly. This is his last chance you would think at getting a cycle. Center field going back. It’s off the wall. Racing towards go. Here we go. Go. And he’s Oh my. We got a cycle. Take that, Grace. You’re running like a river and they want the ball. The dugout is going bonkers. Oh, brother. That was awesome. First cycle since Mark Grace. And it comes from the catcher Carson Kelly. That’s a home run from Kyle Tucker. His fourth straight game. He’s never done that before in his career. And the Cubs have a 4-2 lead. And there was no doubt about it. Wow. JD, I can get used to watching this guy hit. Yeah, boy. This is fun. You talk about a guy that’s absolutely locked in. He did not do much at all in spring training. On the ground up the middle, that’s a base hit. Kyle Tucker knocks in two and it is nine nothing. He cannot be stopped. Can’t even be contained. Holy cow. He was the player of the week in the National League last week. Hadn’t slowed down a bit. Highfly ball drilled right field. That one back and that one is gone. Miguel Amaya the opposite way. It’s a two-run homer. It’s 11 nothing. How about the at bats they put together the last two innings? It has been just carnage here. Complete beatd down of these Dodger pitchers. You just want to make sure you swing at a good pitch in that situation. And it was a good pitch. Hit out to right center field. Cruz back at the wall. It’s gone. Another dinger for Dansby. Second of the series. Six of the year. Wanted more runs. got more runs. Comes on the board here in the fifth. Stanby for the sixth time this year. Kept on carrying and carrying into the seats in right center field. Kyle Tucker into right center field. Ranolds back at the wall and it is gone. The King has left the castle. Kyle Tucker home run number eight. Second homer of the inning. And just like that, we’re tied to two. had two big huge swings of the bat here in the top of the fifth. Swanson and now Tucker going deep. That’s the vintage Kyle Tucker right there. Seiya out to left. Did they do it again? They most certainly did. Third homer of the inning for the Cubs. Sea Suzuki. Bye-bye. Eighth of the year. 3-2 Cubs lead. Yeah, I love the aggressive approach on 3 0. A guy out there with a big fast ball willing to challenge and say showing some emotion all over that pitch. Turner who pinch hit in the seven delivered a tough at bat and was able to coax the walk line drive down the left side. Fair ball. That’s head to the corner. Bruhan is in. Here comes Nico on his way to the plate and the Cubs win it. Justin Turner the walk off. Boy, oh boy. Welcome to Chicago. Justin Turner. Pete out to right field. Connor Joe at the wall. It is gone. Pete Crow Armstrong. Home run number 13. Two-run shot puts the Cubs on the board. Deficit cut in half. It’s a 4-2 game. Able to lay off the high fast ball. Get Green down in the zone a little bit. And then he put a real good swing on him for his 13th long ball. That guy is swinging. 13 homers, 41 driven in the pitch. Pete skies it right field. Bends it at the track. The wall. If it’s fair, it’s gone. It is. Grand slam. Pete Crow Armstrong and PCA playing like MVP. What a beast. Second of the game. He’s driven in six. It is 8-6 Cubs. And what a performance by PCA yet again. My goodness. So Reese Maguire first at bat with the Cubs. First swing is a foul ball. Reese Maguire deep to right. Benson at the wall. He jumps. It’s gone. Pump us up. Reese Maguire. Welcome the Chicago Cubs. First at bat, first homer. Solo shot. It’s a 4-3 game. Yeah. How about making a first impression? So, Reese Maguire today, first at bat with the Cubs, a home run in the second. If you’re a hitter and you’re looking away, that’s a tough pitch to do anything with. Maguire out to right. Benson back. He did it again. Got to be kidding me. It’s the Reese Muire game. First game with the Cubs. Two homers, brand new ball game. We’re tied at eight. Cubs eight, Reds eight in the eighth. Nobody out. If the Cubs come all the way back and win this one, it will be their biggest comeback win of the year. Seiya smokes it left field. It’s gone. Threerun go ahead home run. Seya Suzuki 14th of the year. Cardiac Cubs come all the way back there. of 118. Birdie’s the guy that matters the other way. A little flare. Birdie around third. Matt Shaw, your hero. Ball game. Cubs win. There’s your blooper to right. Walk it off. A celebration. And we sing the song. Here it comes. Line drive. Base hit to right. Cubs win the ball game. Bruhan scores. Ian Hat walks it off as the Cubs beat the Pirates 3-2 in 10. Big swing of the bat for the Cubs. Betar ahead in the count 0 and two and then hangs a split finger in the zone about mid thigh and he hits a bolt past the drawn in infield on the right side. Cubs win. Cubs win. Lying towards left center field. He go out strong. Oh, baby. What a catch. Unbelievable. Look where he finishes up. He’s in straightaway left field. As spectacular a play as you will see. Swinging a drive right field. Forget it off the scoreboard. Oh, he crushed it. Pete Cro Armstrong number 19 by three. It’s the PCA show. It’s two and two on Suzuki and he hits one in the air to left pretty deep who bars back. This one’s going to fly. Long gone into the bleachers. Seya Suzuki Ce. It’s one- nothing Cubs. Let me tell you something we as a man that’s given up a lot of home runs. I know ball flight. Suzuki just pulls the hands through and supplies the power. Outstanding. him back. I think he’s going to be an all-star when they announce the rosters on Sunday. And he cracks this one out to right. This one is deep. Back forward is Berles and it’s gone into the front row. It’s backto back homers for Sea Suzuki and PCA. 90% of the hitters in Major League Baseball, that’s a double off the wall, but because of his strength and his bat speed, he can muscle it. So, I think he went more to a four seam throw. very important. There’s Michael Bush teeing off. The Cubs have hit three home runs to start. He’s excellent defensively and he can do that all day long. He’s a supreme hitter and he likes playing in the background when he doesn’t have to have all the star power notoriety, but he’s a weapon down there in the lineup. There’s another rocket. Carson Kelly on the 4th of July. The Cubs have hit four home runs. You don’t need to wait till night time for the fireworks. We the fireworks are showing up at Rley right now. Wow. This is impacting the joy that he played with the Oh, there’s another one. It’s PCA on the 4th of July. Firework score. You hope to get 40. He’s going to be 3030 at the Allstar break. Wayne, this kid’s a star. You called it. I’m a man. I admit when I was wrong. Not saying he wasn’t going to be a star, but you called it last year, man. Wow. He’s playing with a lot of confidence. Oh, there’s another draw. Michael Bush, his second of the day. What a ridiculous start for the Cubs. They’ve hit six home runs. Wayne, that ball is squared up. But when you look at the replay as a pitcher, you just can’t miss in the zone that Mike is missing with the type of stuff that you possess. That all three starting outfielders in an all-star game had 500 or more homers. Well, here’s another homer. It’s Danby Swanson. Lucky number seven for the Cubs today. Fast ball, middle, middle, and he’s just jogging, yelling to himself, get up, baseball. It’s a record tying seven homers in a game for the Cubs. You’re going to see this more. Here’s a fly ball left center field. Pretty deep backboard is Nuke Bar and it’s gone. It’s eight home runs in a game for the first time in the history of the Chicago Cubs. That today was a historic one. An eight homer game for the Cubs for a franchise that dates back all the way to the beginning of the National League in 1876. They have broken their all-time single game home run record and Michael Bush has hit three of them.

First
They're gonna clinch the NL Central.
They will win the World Series if they get some good starting pitchers before TDL.
How do you not include Kyle Tucker in the title?
This is the year and the Cubs are real!!!! GO CUBS GO!
2025 cubs is just strong!!!! hope they make it to the post season.
Phenomenal first half
How do you not include the walk off of Dodgers??
11:07 😢
Go Cubs
Man, this season has been a fun one to watch. Reminds me of 2016…
5:45 I spy a Zack Hample catching that home run ball
I hate the cubs because I'm a brewers fan
10:07 I was there for the catch and home run by PCA
Im happy to have been at wrigley during some of these
Let’s go Cubs I hope they clinch the NL central division
GO GO GO GO! – JD 😂 3:49
No Matthew Boyd???
Fix the description, we ain’t in the damn NL West lmaooooo😭😭😭
I dont think the PCA hype is justified just yet. He's a solid fielder and has some power but he's only hitting .265 at the break. Potential yes but all star?
Awesome first half! Go Cubs Go 💪
Gyattt
Why does the description say we're first in the NL West?
There is a mistake in the kanji for 'Shota' in the title. It should be 昇太 (not 翔太).
So we forgetting that game against the dodgers when we were down 5 at one point and came back with a walkoff
11:03 He was in fact not a All Star smh
Them damn brewers need to start losing!
Man we’re missing a lot of moments… kyle Tucker 8th inning run on the dbacks, Miguel Amaya 2 out tie against the dodgers
Cubs need to get to winning some games and need some pitching and relief pitching if we want to be in contention
