Kai Trump’s very first Instagram post is gaining traction after fans noticed its significance more than four years on.
The aspiring golfer first took to the social media platform in February 2021 and has since built up a following of almost 2 million followers thanks to her online golf content, heartwarming personality and, of course, being U.S. President Donald Trump’s granddaughter. She has come a long way since eight pictures showed her looking unrecognizable as she joined her grandfather to visit his Scottish courses.
At 18 years old, Trump is now on her way to becoming one of the stars of the future and is set to play golf collegiately for the University of Miami in 12 months’ time, with her grandfather making his feelings clear on her choice. It comes after humiliating footage of Trump playing golf resurfaced with the president caught red-handed.

Attention, however, has now been diverted back to Trump’s first-ever Instagram post from February 21, 2021, when she uploaded a photo alongside her grandfather and golf icon Tiger Woods at one of the former’s many courses.
“Wishing Tiger luck and a speedy recovery. Also wishing his family all the best in these incredibly trying times. Get well soon! #goat #tigerwoods” the then-14-year-old captioned the post, following on from Woods’ serious car crash earlier that year.
People have now been noticing the significance of that post after Kai Trump’s mother, Vanessa, started dating the golfing legend. “Ironic this is her first post when he’s now dating her mom,” one fan commented on Trump’s post.

After beginning their love affair around Thanksgiving 2024, Woods and Vanessa eventually went official with their relationship back in March. They have done their best to remain out of the public eye ever since, however.
Nonetheless, Trump is flourishing on the junior athlete stage. Along with committing to playing golf for Miami in 2026, she has also signed a number of deals to take her overall NIL value to a reported $1.2 million.
The president’s granddaughter signed with energy drinks brand Accelerator Active Energy last month, following on from signing a deal with Dallas-based Leaf Trading Cards, which sells autographed cards for $200 a pack, at the start of the year.
Taking to Instagram on July 15, Trump used a presidential-themed announcement to reveal her big news, in which she made a speech at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, telling all “fellow Americans and content creators” that she’s partnered and invested in Accelerator.

Shortly after the teenager’s announcement, former gymnast-turned-influencer Livvy Dunne sent a four-word “welcome” message to her after joining her as an equity partner of the beverage brand, which also boasts the likes of Travis Kelce on its books.
Earlier this year, it emerged that the 18-year-old could become one of the highest-paid female athletes ever having developed a growing NIL stock since taking up golf.
The teenager’s substantial social media following also significantly contributes to her valuation, as does her highly-popular YouTube channel, and Trump is currently believed to have a net worth of $21 million dollars and makes five times more than her grandfather.
