There are plenty of unwritten rules when it comes to the game of golf. That being said, players shouldn’t have to be told to take care of the green.

Over the years, countless people have shared their biggest pet peeves about golf etiquette. Earlier this year, Paige Spiranac revealed that nothing “grinds her gears more” than golfers who refuse to fill their divot on the course.
“The grounds crew wakes up at the butt crack of dawn to make sure this golf course is in pristine condition for you to just duff it around,” Spiranac said. “The least you can do is fill your divot and fix your ball mark. And with pace of play we know you got time to not only fix one, but 10 more. The golf gods are looking down at you going, ‘Wow, I’ll remember that.’ The next time your drive is flying out of bounds, it’s going to stop right in front of it because you have good golf karma now. So remember that and don’t be an [expletive]. Caring for the golf course is not only good for you, it’s good for everyone on the golf course and the grounds crew.”
Although she hasn’t commented on it yet, Spiranac would hate the latest golf video that’s going viral.

Golfer destroys the green after missing a putt.X.
Two days ago, NUCLR GOLF shared a video of a young golfer destroying the green simply because he missed a putt. It was the type of tantrum you’d never expect to see on the golf course.
Once this video went viral, countless fans made it clear they want this golfer to be banned for life.
“There’s no excuse for that behavior – it wasn’t the putter, the green or the ball’s fault – the kid should be banned for life .. NO RESPECT FOR THE GAME,” one person said after seeing this video.

“Got the picture of the idiot. Know the Course. He plays. Got his playing partner. Fine him big time for destroying public property and never let him play again,” a second person wrote on X.
“Yes, anyone who damages the lawn without any reason should be banned for life,” a third person commented.
“It wasn’t like he hit a decent putt and it just missed. Even then, what he did was totally uncalled for. It was a heinous act,” another person said.

“The golf course operators should have called police to have him charged with vandalism,” a social media user added.
This golfer’s identity has not been revealed at this time. We’re also not sure which course was destroyed in this video.
All we know is behavior like this is truly unacceptable.
