You know, they say the early bird gets the worm. And you’ll never believe this, guys, but so far this morning, I have watched two birds get big, fat, juicy worms. Uh, doing a little bird watching. Uh, but that’s not all that Bartley Kavanaaugh has. It’s a brand new venue that can fit up to 400 people, perfect for, that’s right, exchanging vows, saying I do, doing a little celebrating. Uh, coming up, we’re going to take a tour of the venue, hear about all the fun ways you can celebrate, and do you want to get married for a dollar? A dollar happen. We’ll tell you how. Are you Are you proposing or just somebody else’s wedding? Oh. Well, you’ll have to find out. I just love that Molly includes in the Good Day family the bird population. Yeah. Yeah, we are inclusive. Here comes the bride. Hey, good day, Sacramento. Big round of applause for our bride right there. That’s intern Olivia posing as a lady in white, all dressed in white. Uh now, it’s appropriate that she’s acting as our bride. Uh she actually grew up playing golf here at Bartley Kavanaaugh Golf Course. She says she doesn’t have very good memories of some tournaments. That’s okay. But you know what? Uh she could have a great memory here coming up or other people as well. Uh right here in this venue, what you’re looking at, this is a brand new venue for events, likely many, many weddings. Uh fits up to 400 people. This is Chloe with Bartley Kavanaaugh. Now, Chloe, I know that you’ve hosted weddings here for about 15 years, but this is something that’s new and extra special, isn’t it? Yes. Yeah. We took on this project in October of last year. Really kind of pulling the trigger and breaking ground, leveling all the hills and pulling out some trees and it’s been just a really fun experience. Well, let’s take a walk on over and check it out. Of course, a lot of ceremonies will take place under this gazebo uh where you can uh keep your eye on the 18th hole and hopefully all those golfers will be conservative with their clubs on those shots. Uh but this is a huge huge space and I know uh when there’s good weather it just extends to this uh outside the exterior. Yes. Yeah. So we have um this is 10 5,000 square feet. It’s 50 by 100 and then the whole courtyard out here is pretty much double the size. So, if you want to utilize this tint however you see fit for reception or an auction fundraiser type of thing, you can also utilize the courtyard for whatever else you want to see outside of a ceremony as well. Yeah. It doesn’t have to be a wedding. Uh there are some perks of this. For instance, you don’t have a noise ordinance. So, the party can go late into the night. That is correct. Yeah. So, uh most of our weddings start at 5:00 or later. Going 5 to 11 or 6:00 to midnight is very popular for us. So, to celebrate the opening, uh, you have some big promotions that you’re running. Uh, if people sign a contract now through September 30th, uh, they get, I mean, they get a pretty special pricing. Yeah. So, we’re offering special pricing for 2025 and 2026 for our grand opening, which is really exciting. So, it could be upwards of like $3,000 depending on the size of your event and the day that you’re wanting to book. Um, so yeah. Yeah. You have a open house coming up August 27th that you hope that you want people to RSVP for. Yeah. So on our website we have ways to RSVP. Um it’s just a quick signup sheet. There’s two different time slots you can come into. There’s a bunch of vendors coming. Ice cream. You get to taste our food. We’re having signature cocktails. So we’re hosting our grand opening event here which is going to be super exciting. Perfect. And then the biggest most exciting promotion, one couple will get to rent this whole space for a dollar. Yeah. So, we decided to go a little bigger and decided to do the venue for a dollar, which is super rare, I think, in our industry to do something that crazy, but with such a grand space, we just figured why not. So, one special couple or event if you come in for a tour or come to the grand opening, either of those is required to kind of be entered into the giveaway. But, yeah, it’s $1 and then food and beverage and taxes and fees are applied to that. But you save about $6,000 depending on the day that you choose. Amazing. Okay. If you want to say I do here at Bartley Kavanaaugh, all that information can be found on their website. Uh but Lakeside at Bartley Kavanaaugh is looking pretty good. You know, for as much as my husband loves golf, it’s kind of incredible that I didn’t get married at a golf course. This would be a nice option if we were doing it again.
