Hey, look. It ain’t like I need to tell you how good she is. You should already know, but let me show you why I’ve been saying we need Cam Bring back in the WNBA. The impact she had on this game was so profound. And the crazy part about it is she only played in 11 minutes. That shot right there is doing a dead ball. It didn’t count. But watch it right here helping out Ray Barel jumping out on Gabby Williams on the three-point line and getting the steal. Then next play, Kelsey Plum on the breakdown. Cam Brink with her hands ready and she said, “Yeah, I don’t only hit these in the dead ball. I hit them in live action, too.” I mean, Cam is just so damn lit on the court. You don’t get this kind of intensity from every player. Just look at her face. And the intensity carries over to the other end as she blocks Dominique Malanga and fouls Neco. that kind of intensity using all five of your fouls. She ended up with seven points, three blocks, two steals, and four rebounds as she blocks Gabby Williams and throws her to the ground. Cam might be slight of build, but she plays strong and she ain’t scared to play center like a lot of other bigs. She blocks shots, she rebounds. Then over here on the other end off the miss from Julie Alaman. Scoops up the O board and finish that off. If she keep playing like this, she might play her way into that starting lineup. I don’t know how they going to make this work. You got Azare Stevens, De’arra Hamby, Cam Brink. Three really good impact players. If it was me making a move, De’arra Hamby, you going to have to sit. I’m sorry, but she just get ate up on defense too much. Now, credit to De’Aric Hamby. He did end up hitting the game-winning shot in this game. But I think if the Sparks want to be successful, they need to try to flip De’arra Hamby and work Cam Brink back into being a starter. As a Stevens, she way too good of an asset. They need to try to pair her, Cam Brink, and Rakia Jackson together and see how that turn out. That team in Portland is coming. Cam Brink already said she’d like to go play back home. So, if y’all don’t do right by her, y’all going to hear about her booking to PJ to Portland to sign that contract. So come on Sparks, get it together.
