After some 30 odd years of golfing, somebody finally tagged me. Finished up a shitty round, and came out to parking lot to this. Got a free Top Flite out of it though. Who else is in the broken window club?
Meanwhile back at the tips on the 3rd tee a 35 handicap rejoices thinking he FINALLY got a chance to successfully leverage his slice around that dogleg.

Surprised there isn’t a crater from that ball.
Memeboidad3
So how does this get resolved? Does golf course pay for it, or are you on the hook?
ConfectionWest728
It would be a top flite

Happened to me 10 years ago. Parked where I knew was a risky spot behind number 9. Happened a week before I was moving across the country. I came back to my car after a shitty round to a crater hole in the center of my windshield. No ball, no one around to take the blame. I did go into the proshop and lost my shit for a good few minutes. Drove home in sorrow from my shit game and now $300 round lol

Did you park next to the range? If not, I think some dumb ass hit that into the parking lot on purpose.

Top flight. #1 ball for parking lot damages.

Incoming post: “absolutely bladed the fuck out of my 60 degree wedge and hit some dudes car. Luckily it was just a shitty minivan, so hopefully I did him a favor and he will use his insurance money to get a man’s car”
Helpful-Birthday4414
Top flight will do it every time. Even range balls are softer i think

Who is throwing rocks at windows?
crc2993
This happened to my friend a few years ago but it was a novelty Captain America ball. Think that pissed him off more than anything
fattsoo
Well, there’s your problem. Your car got hit by a rock.
begoodyall
There’s a course in north Georgia called Country Land that is horseshoe around the parking lot. There are multiple signs in the parking lot saying you’re liable for parking there. In the few minutes it took me to get my bag out of the car I saw 3 cars get hit. Id play there again, but I’m never taking my own car.
hoosehoose
Never had one hit my car, but did have somebody snap hook one off an adjacent tee box and it one hopped through the cart windshield area and hit me right in the mouth as I was sitting in my cart waiting to put a very very rare birdie putt for myself lol.

What’s minivan life like? We desperately need one but can’t bring our selfs to make the jump from our suv.

Happened to me while going back to my car at the range. Kid sliced one 100yds and hit my windshield. Glass everywhere in the car and an expensive fix. The drove past in their cart and picked up a slightly less errant tee shot and I didn’t say anything. Just a hazard of the game, im sure ive done damage in the past too.
bobadole
living with a high end course on my drive home. I pick up top end balls off the road daily. Rich golfers suck as much as the rest of us.
Thankfully i have never been hit. Wife got one on her roof though. Guy gave us $300 for her deductible.

It infuriates me that golf courses aren’t liable for this.
MasterVaderTheTurd
I park far from any tee’s for this exact same reason. No thanks some 30handicap gonna fuck my windshield up and then not be responsible for it. So I’ll do it for him and park a mile away. Thanks.

That’s a 1990s era Top-flite XL. So many questions….

You can keep it I never really liked that ball anyway!

Park smart, had a ball almost hit me in the parking lot just behind 18… not all golfers belong on the course these days
h2ohzrd
Me. Driving past my clubs driving range and a ball hits top center of my windshield. The ball didn’t go over the net but through a gap between the net and the pole holding it. Most guys would leave the scene of the crime but this guy stuck around to find me and his insurance company paid for the replacement.
