It’s called moving day for a reason and I need to tell you all about it. After 54 holes at Royal Port Call, this leaderboard is a lot tighter. I’m Hope Barnett and you’re watching LPGA Now, presented by Surfpro. Let’s get into it. Miyu Yamashida started the day with a threeshot lead. But it is now whittleled down to just a one-stroke advantage after shooting a two over 74. Although it wasn’t the day she had in mind, she still had some good shots sprinkled in there. Back down the hill 144 yds. Just wanting to get it on the right level. Oh, what a great shot there. I mean, look at this insane putt for par on 17. Avoid three drop shots in four holes. Major champion Am Kim soared up the leaderboard after shooting a 67. Spectator area there. Just trying to lob one up there. Oh my goodness. Who needs to hit the fairway? Same with Andrea Lee. She’s won back from Alim after looking like she was on autopilot all day. Andrea’s putter was hot. She only needed 25 putts to card a 67. And this girl is just so so deadly. Should a good lie. Should just be able to pop it out and it will run down. Oh, how did that miss? I mean, yeah. Yeah, I mean, tomorrow’s going to be pretty tough. Um, anything can happen out there. I think anyone within like five shots has a chance at this championship, honestly. So, I’m just going to try and keep my head down and stick to my own game plan and, you know, try not to look at the leaderboard and just play golf. Coming into the week, Charlie Hull said she wasn’t sure if Lynx golf suited her game. I think it’s safe to say that that is no longer true. Charlie had quite the crowd following her and she was putting on a show for Royal Port Call. She went seven under in the first 13 holes. Watch your hands. Go on then. Yes. And the English woman seemed unstoppable. Expect this one to be right at it. Lovely. Okay. Dialed in, Charlie. In Lynx golf, I feel like things can change so fast. Um, like you said, you kind of just move on to the next hole. How do you do that and stay dialed in over every shot? Uh, you just got to have trust in your game and then you just got to forget about the last half if it was a bad old. It’s a bit like life really. You just got to carry on moving forward rather than looking back and dwelling on the pastes. You’re not going to get no uh no further in life if you carry on doing that. Megan Kang has only missed five greens in regulation this whole week. On the third. Oh, what a great shot there. I do want to try. She said a lovely little punch shot there. Oh, very well executed. You could see her there. Just really trying to keep her hands in front of the ball. Keep it down. Both Megan and Charlie are looking for their first major championship win. Let’s take a look at the leaderboard with Miu, Alim, and Andrea in those top spots. Manami Katsu, Charlie, Megan Kang, and Rio Teada are only three back from the lead, while Georgia Hall, Waying Shei, and Kiara Tambberlin are tied at four under. On Sunday, it’ll all come down to the green behind me. So, be sure to tune in and watch on USA and NBC. And come back right here to check out LPGA Now, presented by Surf Pro.

  1. I feel like every round highlights so far are a mess and completely different from each other, what's going on? Just show shots!

  2. Today's round was the very definition of a 'moving day' Saturday round!! Just when I thought it was going to be a blowout, Royal Porthcawl came a calling and with the weather tomorrow, Andrea Lee is spot on, that 5 shot gap between T11 and 1st is much closer than it seems.

  3. I think it's even more open than Lee predicts…I'd say anyone within seven has a chance. Some seriously talented players sitting at -2. Any of them are capable of a low 60's today.

  4. Hey, you pronounced Miyu Yamashitas name correctly, good on you. Now can you please go tell Alison Whitaker how to pronounce it. Her version YAMASH TA makes my ears bleed. I've tried messaging but doesn't do any good
