you are are you ready to start Alex you’re leading the field in strokes game putting can you kind of talk about those putting changes you were giving to to Todd yeah that was uh uh during the offseason last year uh during the fall um just tried to get a little bit of a stronger grip my my grip was pretty weak last year and I had a pretty bad year putting so um yeah just uh changed my setup a little bit because of it hands got a little higher and um and yeah after that the rest was really pretty much the same just trying to uh do my practice process and um yeah it’s it’s been good this year i saw you talk about the stress that comes with trying to win a golf tournament how do you plan on dealing with those feelings tomorrow um you know you’re going to have them uh you’re definitely going to have them so you just uh all you can do is try to focus on what you what you can control and that is uh your target uh try to hit your number and try to make a good swing um that’s pretty much it uh you’re going to feel terrible while trying to do it but uh but that’s just part of it and uh that kind of makes it fun when you are able to pull it off with the changing conditions the last couple of days we’ve kind of gotten three different golf courses how does that impact your game plan especially considering that you guys no one’s been here before yeah a lot um it’s it’s fun to see it at three different uh three different ways you know in our first three days playing here um you know yesterday the ball wasn’t rolling a whole lot because of the rain uh and then today the ball’s rolling out a lot off the tea and uh having to try to pick clubs was a lot tougher today than yesterday um so it’s been fun you know on the on the T box trying to strategize on a new golf hole every day and uh try to figure out the best way to play it what hole has played the mo like most different dayto day today has there been one uh probably 11 i would say 11’s played very different i’ve gone from hitting a sevenwood uh in to hitting I had I think 80 something yards today so uh I think that one’s kind of varied the most there’s a lot of crowds out there with with Rory and Colin when you get to that deep part of the golf course and you’re kind of playing steady golf behind them are you someone who kind of takes some solace in the in the kind of the peace and quiet back there while you’re getting through your round uh yeah for sure uh definitely you know but the crowds make it fun uh it’s really fun you know to have those guys i got to play with JT today and uh he always has a big following and uh yeah the fans were were incredible all week really since uh since Wednesday uh in practice rounds you know they were they were out here and uh it’s been really fun to play in front of the Philly fans does it help when when your playing partner is is shooting a score too um yeah probably i mean it’s it’s nice and you know it’s nice if they’re not shooting 80 or something uh that would kind of throw you out of your rhythm a little bit but um yeah JT had a and I have had a nice back and forth you know I’ve played with him for since junior golf days and uh yeah it was it was a really fun group out
