Under a blazing summer sun and with fast, challenging greens, Red River Junior Golf hosted its second tournament of the summer season recently, which was presented by title sponsor Farmers Bank & Trust.

Nearly 40 junior golfers battled it out across multiple age divisions at Texarkana Country Club.

The tournament delivered a highly competitive day of golf, with many divisions decided on the final hole. The level of talent and sportsmanship on display was nothing short of impressive, highlighting the depth and dedication of these young athletes.

“We had a great turnout, and the competition was incredibly close,” said a Red River Junior Golf representative. “We’re grateful to Farmers Bank & Trust for their continued support, and we’d like to extend a special thank you to Texarkana Country Club for allowing us to play on their pristine course. Their hospitality made the day even more special.”

As the summer season continues to heat up, Red River Junior Golf is already looking ahead to future events. Parents and young golfers are strongly encouraged to get involved this coming fall season, where more fun, competition, and community spirit await.
